Ocean Blue Pools built us an amazing pool that our family is going to enjoy for years to come! Tim, the owner, had a great vision of how to turn our backyard into a tropical oasis. Tim’s crew was amazing lead by Andy Burton and Sergio. They paid great attention to detail and thei craftsmanship was really amazing. Jennifer Crim was in constant contact with us walking us through the entire process start to finish. It is very difficult to get a pool permit approved and built in Sandy Springs, and Tim and his team did it flawlessly. I would highly recommend Ocen Blue Pools to anyone looking to create a resort in their own backyard. They are amazing! Tim, Jennifer, Andy and the whole team did a great job on our pool and backyard projects. They were able to work around the issues with our septic system and the permitting process with both Fulton County and Roswell. The pool, patio and landscaping projects turned the backyard into a great area for our family and friends to use for many years to come.

Randall did a fantastic job on our pool. We could not be happier. I called several pool companies for estimates and half would not either come out or after submitting estimates return our calls. Randall was very quick to respond and had a actual showroom where everyone else wanted us to look online to pick a finish. Randall was slightly more expensive but you get what you pay for. Our experience with Randall and Ocean Blue Pools was by far the best we have ever had with any contractor. He exceeded our expectations in a number of ways. First, he listened to our needs and our ideas, gave recommendations, and then implemented a plan that was cost efficient and gave us the pool we desired. Second, Randall lived up to his word. There was no grey area in price or other expectations, and we greatly appreciated how clear and straightforward he was. We did not have to guess as to schedule, design, or the process for our pool being built. Third, his ideas saved us money and time. We had multiple estimates and designs drawn up and Ocean Blue Pools exceeded all of them in being financially responsible, meeting our requirements, and in planning. My family and I cannot recommend Randall high enough. He treated us superbly, and we observed him ensuring the quality of our installation. He was onsite routinely and checked in with us often. If I could give a rating above five stars, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Ocean Blue Pools was hired to resurface an old plaster pool and did a terrific job. I got stonescapes mini pebble aqua white with glass tossed in and it looks great. Randall was very responsive and prompt once the project kicked off and we got a quote. They also kept to the schedule about as close as you can expect for a large project, finishing only 2-3 days after expected finish date. In addition to resurfacing, they replaced the waterline tile, mastic, and re-piped the main drains to meet code and remove a clog. They also put us in contact with another contractor to fix some equipment issue and replace our lights while the pool was drained (which got done promptly, but we have had some issues scheduling other improvements with that contractor after the original pool work at no fault of Ocean Blue Pools). The finish of the new plaster is good - a couple small/medium sized spots where it's not a perfect finish in the deep end around main drain become visible at certain times of day (perhaps from final acid wash after the new plaster, idk) is the only complaint to an otherwise perfect job. Overall it was a great service but not cheap (in part due to my finish choices). I'll reach out to them again if we have other large pool work such as coping replacement.

Ocean Blue was the only company who would take our rehab project on after being scammed and left with a concrete shell by another contractor who's name started with a B and ends with a -reed.

They did the best they could with what they had to work with and it turned out pretty amazing. You almost can't tell it was started by someone who didn't know what they were doing.

Building a pool with Ocean Blue was above and beyond our expectations! Randall saw our vision for what we wanted for our dream pool and was able to make it a reality. He really knows the business and sets appropriate expectations. He is a fantastic communicator and very knowledgeable. He built our pool in a timely manner- faster than we could have imagined. Short review is that using the Team of Tim and Mark at Oceanblue Pools was the best decision we could possibly have made! Flawless!

The longer review is that after doing due diligence and interviewing a number of pool companies it was pretty clear that the passion, genuine interest, personal care and thoroughness of Tim and Mark made the choice of using Oceanblue an easy one.

Their approach to the project, the timeliness of all the phases of the work, clarity of explanation of the process, and, most importantly, the craftsmanship evidenced in the pool itself, has made what can be a nightmare of uncertainty a real pleasure.

Total transparency combined with easy-to-work-with personalities made this a truly great experience…and that they completed the pool easily in advance of their timeline (even with a week of sub-zero overnight temps) meant that we are now completely set for pool season.

We even took them up on their landscape services to dress the pool surroundings up.

Unhesitatingly would recommend Tim and Mark at Oceanblue Pools.

We had an amazing experience with Ocean Blue Pools! From the very beginning of the design process all the way through the construction, their team was professional, attentive, and detail-oriented. We hired Blue Ocean Pools to renovate our existing pool. We met with a variety of contractors to evaluate options to upgrade our older pool. We had a HUGE difference in price points and ideas. The owner of Blue Ocean Pools, Randall Schmidt, came out to discuss and estimate our pool renovation. His straightforward approach to the refurbishment made us feel very comfortable from the very start. He provided some practical suggestions and even pointed out how to save money by using our existing equipment while upgrading some components. Once we decided to move forward with Randall, I met with him at his showroom and looked at design ideas, picked out our tile/stone, and chose all our equipment upgrades. Randall is upfront with every detail of the project, and he is one of the most transparent contractors I’ve ever worked with.

We hired Randall and his team to chip out our entire existing pool pebble. They cut out all the old coping and removed the stone that wrapped our spa and spillway. The renovation consisted of them: replacing the coping with Travertine, adding a tile line around the entire pool & spa, re-facing the spa with stacked stone, replacing all the fittings/drains, and re-pebbling the surface of the entire pool. The one thing that stands out with Blue Ocean Pools is their attention to detail. The travertine cuts around my spa are exact and impressive. The coping, stonework, and all of the fitting/drains look amazing. The tile work is excellent, and our new pebble surface is beautiful. Even the tiniest details, like pebble on the drain covers, impresses everyone.

Every day during our project, Randall would stop by and check in with me. His crew was very open to explaining what was happening and what came next. Randall also helped us replace our old heater, filter, control panel, and chlorination system. At the end of the project, he introduced us to a pool service to assist with the startup to ensure the pool would cure adequately and all the systems were dialed in.

If you are renovating your pool, there is no one better than Randall Schmidt and the team at Blue Ocean pools. We have seen Randall’s work with new pools through friends and neighbors, and they are incredible. His renovations will make your old pool LOOK BRAND NEW!!!

Tim and his team built an absolutely gorgeous backyard pool for my family and me - we specifically bought our house for the lot and Ocean Blue did not disappoint!

We’ve worked with Ocean blue pools over the past few months on our pool renovation project. The over all experience has been fantastic!

The team especially Mark and Tim have made this a simple and smooth process.

Along the way we encountered some issues relating to the structure of the pool as well as the integrity of the deck surrounding. While outside of the scope of the original estimate, the team worked with us to find cost effective solutions.

On top of this the level of care and attention to detail when listening to specific concerns; such as rebar, deck board spacing, lighting, and care for shrubs was all adhered too.
