While watching the work being done across my alley in my townhouse units. I was so impressed and pleased to see such hard professional work being done all the way to the finish. They just never stopped working. They never left trash or nails laying all over(like usual). They worked nine-ten hours and got their work done. I talked to the men a couple times. They we very respectful and Courteous. The kind of guys you want to wave to when you go by. I would 💯% recommend this company. I hope my unit is the next one they improve.

James and his team were great to work with. Very professional and communicated very well when any questions came up. Job site was cleaned daily and disturbances to people living in the house were minimal. Would gladly work with again on another project.

I was remodeling my master bathroom these past couple of weeks. I needed drywall installed after having recessed lighting installed. I also needed some walls drywalled. I scheduled an estimate with KDOC Construction. James is very professional, arrived on time, and protected the area during his work. He did a great job and I highly recommend him.

I was having a problem with water leaking under the exterior wall of my house into the garage. I used Home Advisor to look for a water proofing contractor to inspect the wall and suggest a solution to eliminate the leak. James Kennedy showed up on time and spent almost an hour inspecting the wall and coming up with several possible solutions. Some of the solutions would have been complicated and expensive but James convinced me to try a simple solution first before I spend the money on the other solutions. I did so, and so far so good. I was very impressed with James. He was very professional and friendly and seemed very knowledgable and honest. He stayed with me for almost an hour patiently explaining his proposed solutions and patiently answering all my questions. At the end I offered to pay for his time, but he politely refused payment. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

I was referred to KDOC by another trusted contractor and I couldn't have been happier with that referral. James Kennedy came by and gave an estimate to redo my deck and he was nice and pretty upfront about the job from the process, cost and time. We got the job scheduled and him and his crew showed up the first day and explained the process again and time. Believe it or not they actually beat the time estimate and no hidden surprises. I made a small change to order based on what other issues we found but I was shocked that the job got done so professionally and in time. His crew was really clean too as they swept and blew out debris and trash everyday. I absolutely recommend KDOC if you need outside decking and water sealing work done. Matter of fact we are in the process of scheduling another bigger job for the front deck and patio. Thanks James.

KDOC Construction is the best! James, the owner is very professional and really cares about his work. He did an excellent job fixing our 800 sq foot deck. James Kennedy and his team did a very nice job replacing my deck with new TimberTech Trex and fixing the waterleak I had for over 20 years! They were all very easy to work with. Very friendly, responsive and on time. I would hire them anytime again.

We just got our deck redone by this company and are very pleased with everything they did. Initially we had 4 other companies come by to give us a quote and explain to us how they could fix our deck and prevent further leakage. We went with James because he was very thorough with explaining what he would do and why he would do it or why it was needed to be done a certain way. James and his whole team were all so great to work with. They were all very efficient, hardworking, and respectful. It was a 2.5 week process and they had to go through my whole house to get to the top deck and they kept our house very clean throughout the whole process. James customized some pieces so they could waterproof the area on the deck where we have our AC unit on too. We highly recommend James and his crew!

If you want a good patio or deck hire a specialist like KDOC. I made a big mistake and hired a backyard pool company to build my deck 5 years ago and had multiple leaks inside and outside my home. KDOC knows their stuff and their crew were so skilled and great. They cleaned up their mess every day and I am so thankful for them. I had to buy them breakfast burritos. If you want a deck that will last, talk to James and KDOC.

KDOC just completed a deck and glass railing replacement on our home overlooking Back Bay. James was attentive to details and responsive to our questions. Explored several options for the deck waterproofing and railing options. We were ecstatic with the end results. Appreciated that both deck and railings done by same company. James came over to give us a bid and we were incredibly impressed. My wife and I had a couple rough rounds with contractors. Then when our deck started leaking we were in need of someone who could not only do a good job, but at a good price. KDOC construction was truly one of a kind. James was professional, organized, and efficient. Got us in for a bid quickly and sent us final estimate same day, which was very reasonable. We had five other bids by the end of it. But we went with James because he was the best. Scheduled us to start a few weeks out. Work was completed within a couple weeks. Any questions or concerns were fully addressed. We couldn’t believe how fast and efficient James and his crew were. We were prepared to be out 8 weeks. And they finished in less than 3. I wish all my contractors were this professional. Made the whole experience very enjoyable. Our deck has been solid. Looks beautiful. And he guarantees the work for ten years!
