He offers a range of options to keep projects within budget and has great ideas to help find the best way to save and still end up with a quality result. He also adds nice touches where others might cut corners to finish more quickly.
Jon and his team are punctual in their work and clean up thoroughly when finished.
We have hired other companies that we regretted giving our business to, but Mod Renovations offers great quality at a reasonable price.

This was a conversion of part of our basement into a workshop, with addition of a wall, an exterior doorway and a utility sink. This is our second time using Mod and we continue to always be impressed with the results. Jon is so thorough in his details, offers great design ideas, is adaptable to our changes, and goes way above and beyond to make sure everything is right. While working on this project, he noticed a place on the deck roof he built for us 3 years ago that needed paint and he just did that out of his own kindness. We definitely would never expect that from most contractors. Robin is amazing as well— she painted a swing unrelated to this project just because she had time one day. Any time I have a project like this I’ll be calling Mod.

Carolina Contractors did a fantastic job. I hired them to extend a wall and put a door frame in for a bonus room that had no door when we bought the house. The whole process was extremely easy and I would 100% hire again for other projects.

The time to complete the project was a little slower than it might have been with a larger firm but the quality was phenomenal. Would highly recommend supporting this small business. Carolina Contractors has done a few jobs for me over the years at my home and have done a phenomenal job. They keep a clean work area are prompt courteous and have superior workmanship. Their workmanship is amazing and they are just so very kind and courteous!!!

From the beginning both Jim and George have been helpful and accommodating in fixing previous issues we had on our sunroom and deck. We were hesitant in working w/ another contractor due to the miscommunication and poor workmanship w/ our previous contractor and they helped put our minds at ease! We could not be anymore happier w/ our new deck, it’s beautiful! I would recommend them to anyone who needs any deck work done or anything else for that matter!

Outstanding customer service and craftsmanship. George and Jim were great. We are super happy with our deck. It was replanked with trex decking and railings replaced with trex rails. Installed new screening and support posts also added a bar counter on the lower patio. We couldn't be happier. We will definitely use Carolina Contractors again for any future projects. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

HIRE CAROLINA CONTRACTORS! Jim has been wonderful to work with and he honors military families! This meant so much to us and he was such an honest guy. He and his team did a fantastic job screening in our porch and they did it so promptly! :)

Carolina Contractors is an awesome company. They rebuilt my mom's carport and did an excellent job. They are very professional and kept us in the loop at all stages of the job. We recently used Carolina Contractors to have a deck built for a 24 foot round above ground pool and cannot be any more satisfied. Jim and George came out, provided an estimate and worked with us to determine the best layout. They showed up when they said they would every time and their pricing was very reasonable. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail given in building the deck far exceeded my expectations. George and Jim both had suggestions on how to make the deck look nice. George recommended picture framing the deck edge, which turned out great. Throughout this construction they showed they cared about the quality of finished product they delivered and not just throwing something together. They reminded me of my old hometown mechanic that took care of his customers, knowing they would be back and taking pride in the work done. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
