Shawn Hook and his team are incredible! We recently had a complete basement renovation which included a bar area, movie room, two offices, a full bath, a gym, dance studio and storage. The thought and detail that went into this project were top notch. Shawn and his team were professional, kind, courteous and paid attention to every detail. They answered every question we had (we had many) and helped us make important design decisions for a truly functional space. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and included us in every decision that had to be made. There were no surprises. The project was on time and on budget. We were so impressed with the workmanship; we also had the team remodel our master bathroom, laundry room and do a patio project. If you are looking for a local company, a dependable team, and good people, look no further than Hook! You will be so glad you did.

Had them come out to quote some projects. The guy doing that was super nice. The office workers were responsive. However I decided to go with someone else. A few weeks after my last email I was woken up to one of their workers at my door saying they were here to do all the projects I had quoted. We had to tell them repeatedly that no, we didn't have anything scheduled.

Andrew from Hook Home Maintenance, did a terrific job on installing my new sink/vanity and medicine cabinet. He arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently.
I enjoyed talking with him because he seemed very caring and compassionate towards his customers and has a great work ethic.
I will definitely being using Hook Home Maintenance for any upcoming projects I intend to have done.
I highly recommend this company and you won’t be disappointed!!😊👍

Hook Home Maintenance is fantastic! They do excellent work, are punctual and thorough, have good suggestions if you're not an expert on things like flooring and fans...... I wouldn't hire anyone else.

If you’re looking for honest, hard-working, and fair priced construction people this is the place to go. This is a father, son, uncle, multiple family operation. They have the highest rating with the plastic decking trex company for installing. They gave us a very fair price to do our deck. They can do just about any job. They recently moved to 4274 Hudson Dr., Stow, OH. I like that they’re local with an actual real office location.

I am so very pleased with my new Trex deck that was installed by Hook Home Maintenance. To begin with, the customer service was excellent from the first phone call through the final review of the completed deck. The estimate was timely and quite reasonable. The install was seamless. Shawn and his crew were very efficient, professional and well-coordinated. The deck is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a home contractor. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a flawless installation and a superior deck.

Adam is very professional, detail oriented and will complete the project timely and as planned. I give him 5 stars.

Love our new deck! Almost made the mistake of not including the built-in railing lights. So glad that we did the lighting too!

These guys do high-quality work using high quality materials. One of their venders gave them a cable product that I wouldn’t have know wasn’t up to par, but they did and insisted it be replaced without me saying a word. 10/10

Deck turned out ok, but this guys social skills leave a lot to be desired. The deck was a 4, his personality is a negative 3, therefore, a 1 star.

My neighbors were building a deck.The owner came over to our yard to tell ask us if we built our deck. I applied no The deck that we had was built in 2013 had different codes on size of beam used. The owner proceeded to go down to the village hall to check if a permit and final inspection was done on deck. I never hired him and he looked into legal issues. I CALLED UP OUR VILLAGE INSPECTOR OUR DECK WAS UP TO CODE FOUND TO BE SAFE ISSUED A FINAL INSPECTION BUYER BE AWARE

I contacted several Madison area deck companies about a small deck walkway project on a steep slope. Many of these outfits didn’t even call or e-mail back, a couple others didn’t know what to do about the sloped terrain, and one gave me an astronomical quote.

Decksperts was everything their competition wasn’t. They communicated well at every step. They showed a thorough knowledge of their products and their trade. They got the job done promptly, in spite of some unexpected challenges beyond their control. They even fixed a couple of nearby issues at minimal cost. And the price was entirely fair for the work performed.

Decksperts were great from start to finish. We had a very unique project and they were able to handle it flawlessly. I would highly recommend them!

I had a beck built by Decksperts and was very satisfied with the results. The deck built was one of the sturdiness I have felt before. The contractor was courteous and very interested in my input. The crew was tidy at all times, leaving the property in a clean state before going off the site. I definitely recommend Decksperts.

I really enjoyed working with Adam. He is very detailed guy and hard worker. He gave us good recommendations throughout design process and building process. The price was very good compared to other contractors. We love our deck. Definitely recommed!
