Dr Decks!

Beautiful craftsmanship. Simply extraordinary.

His work is like no other in the business, perfection is his first name

Learned a lot on how to waterproof under a deck with EPDM pond liner

Jason is a pioneer in creative deck and outdoor living spaces..... This company is leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else in the industry. The north west is fortunate to have a builder of his caliber in their region.

More than just a Deck Builder-- Jason is a mentor to many up and coming builders. Check out his YouTube channel too.

Honest and high quality final product. He brought many ideas to the table and did not leave us to our bad ideas. Finished project was finished on time and directly on our budget. Thanks Dr!

absolutely rude customer service, did not have a fun experience at all. the whole time we felt like we were being treated like kids, over attitude was very condescending.

Amazing deck builder Huge fan of this guy amazing teacher on their videos was visiting his website because looking for take some masterclass

We chose Dr. Decks because not only did Jason have ideas that would look amazing, he was able to design a space that was functional for our family. We are not easy clients: we are very picky, made several changes, had a ton of questions etc. Jason took it all in stride and was excellent with communication. He is professional, pays attention to every detail, and is truly an artist! The whole crew was professional and kind which is important to us with pets and small kids running around. Dr. Decks exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled with our unique, functional, and beautiful space. The entire process went smoothly and we feel it was absolutely worth the wait and the price.

Amazing deck builders one of the best in the world!

Absolutely love our new front entry that Dr. Decks created for us! Highly recommended!

Not worth the money. I got a quote from their online website and it was double what another contractor quoted me. Same materials & square footage. The guys who did my deck did a beautiful job & I don’t believe the “craftsmanship” is worth double what I was quoted.

Excellent work from estimate to job completion. We are so pleased with our deck! It looks great and is so functional.

Jason and his team rebuilt two decks for us, faced with challenging terrain. We couldn't have been more pleased with their work ethic, professionalism and creativity. We really benefited from Jason's ability to think outside the box and innovative solutions.

Dr. Decks is AMAZING!! A few years ago, they replaced our dilapidated deck with a new custom deck. They used state-of-the art technology and materials, including a revolutionary new aluminum framing system that will never rot. We also opted for Jason’s tried-and-true bladder system to create a nice dry space under the deck. This doubled the amount of usable space in our backyard.

Jason and his team were excellent to work with. They implemented our vision perfectly, while also giving us important feedback to ensure the best outcome. They were great listeners and open to our ideas. For example, to reduce the profile of the support structure, we wanted to use metal poles instead of wood. They were game to do this even though it wasn’t their normal approach. Their positive, upbeat attitude throughout the project made it a real pleasure to work with them.

We also appreciated their razor sharp attention to detail and their high quality bar. For example, Jason wasn’t happy with a flashing detail so he redid it, even though it cost him and his crew a day of work. Also, starting on day one, Dr. Decks was on the job every day. They did not juggle our project with another job, which helped make the project go smoothly.

We are super happy with how the deck turned out! Whenever someone comes to our house, they ooh and aah over it. We would hire Dr. Decks again in a heartbeat, and can recommend them to anyone seeking a high-quality deck built with great care.

Dr Decks did a full rebuild of our 2,300 sq ft deck which is elevated 15 feet of the ground. He listened to our needs, educated us about materials, and designed some incredibly beautiful elements that absolutely thrilled us. He is an artist, an engineer, a perfectionist, and a really nice guy. He installed very cool lighting throughout the deck and even installed it in our landscaping! It was a pleasure to have his team on sight. I recommend Dr Decks to all my friends and family.

Jason and his crew have built two decks for me. Both times the communication, quality, and execution have been top notch. He does what is needed to produce the best possible result, even if what is needed is beyond building the deck itself.

We worked with Dr. Decks when Jason was first getting his business off the ground. We chose him over a larger competitor at the time because of his passion, creativity, and attention to detail. It seemed like it was just a job for the other company, but an opportunity to create a work of art to Jason. We were blown away by the experience and the quality of the deck he built for us. It has been over 10 years, and the deck still looks brand new. We have never had a single issue with the quality. He is truly a master of his craft, and I give his company my strongest recommendation.

We hired Dr.Decks to redo and massively expand a front porch that was in a challenging location into a wheelchair accessible deck with a cover.

I am extremely happy with the way the project went and the final product!

They handled the entire job with absolute professionalism and the quality of the work is outstanding. It fits perfectly with the style of the house and the attention to detail in the build is stellar.

From the design consultation phase, to navigating the local permitting, through to the final installation - everything was handled so well through the entire process.

Communication was great and Jason was a pleasure to work with and he and his crew were all in good spirits while they worked. They made the site cheerful even though the weather they were working in was truly terrible.

I have already recommended Dr.Decks to friends and we have plans to engage their services again on future projects. It was such a great experience, and worth every penny.

Tl;dr: Super thrilled with the new covered deck and highly recommend Dr.Decks!

We had a great experience with Dr. Decks! Jason helped us match our vision to our budget and worked carefully with our existing structure and site constraints. From permit to clean up, this team did an amazing job.

The finished covered deck truly feels like an extension of our living space, and our family uses it every day, no matter what the weather is. The quality and attention to detail is obvious. They seem to get along well and were a pleasure to work with and the whole process was smooth and easy. I highly recommend Jason and his team!
