Reviews of local pros in Hockessin, Delaware

McDonald's has been cutting my grass for a number of years and I am very pleased. Recently, they cleared overgrowth from the back of my lot and did an excellent job.

Mike is the most careful, thorough snow plower. Always stays in the lines and levels of the drive. On time and reliable. And at a reasonable price. Our thanks.

I have been using Mcdonald for several years and am pleased with the lawn service and pricing. Also have used Mcdonald for landscaping x2. I didn’t bother with comparing prices because he’s been competitive and fair. Their work has held up well.

We always have a great experience with the team at McDonald's. They came highly recommended by the neighbors in our new community. We have been here almost 2 years and McDonald's has worked with us to get the landscaping on track. They are always kind and patient - I ask a million questions. Christine, in the office, is Amazing! She is always answering your call or getting back to you ASAP. Mike has walked our property time & again trying to work out all the ideas I have that I want done on the property. He has explained the ways we can protect the plants, trees and woodland creatures but still implement what I want. Just a great overall experience. I recommend McDonald's 1000 times over.

McDonald Lawn and Landscape maintained my property weekly and I had no issues. If it was raining on my day of service, they were out promptly the next day. The men doing the maintenance always arrived when expected and did a wonderful job. I was pleased with the lawn cutting and very happy with the edging they did. I highly recommend this company.

Exceeded my expectations... the entrire crew at McDonalds is awesomne, they took extra care to provide exactly what I invisioned, my project came out beautiful and in budget... the knowledge they have of all the plantings/trees and care in picking them is what made McDonalds stand out. They will be my go to landscaer going forward.. can't say enough good, thank you to the entire company.

We had a very good experience with Borsello. Their design reflected what we wanted and, when we changed our mind during construction, they pivoted to make sure we got what we wanted. The crew worked hard, were polite and cleaned up very carefully when they were done. We got a great product and had a great experience working with them.

We had a great experience with Borsello Landscaping. Dean Stafford designed our back walkway and was wonderful to work with. Oscar and his brothers installed the walkway using Pennsylvania bluestone, and did great work. We are very pleased with the results!

We contacted Borsello and they helped us take our backyard oasis from concept to reality. Mike and his team were creative and helpful at every step. The crew was very professional and the craftsmanship is excellent. We highly recommend if you are looking for something special!

Borsello Landscaping receives a 5 star plus from us.
Mike, Ben, Jane, and their team are top notch. Their teams were so accommodating with our schedules. Mike's knowledge and design work is awesome. First time we have ever had professional landscaping work completed. We are so excited, and we will have them come back for any future projects. John and Dolores

This is the second time I have reached out to Borsello Landscaping for help with the gardens I have around my home. This time it was for a tree replacement. Katie and Nicole were not only able to quickly schedule the tree replacement, but were able to answer ALL of my questions regarding pricing, timings, tree care and next steps to ensure the new tree had the best care. They are extremely knowledgeable, very quick to reply, and VERY patient with all of my inquiries. No pressure and a pleasure to work with...Thanks so much AGAIN Borsello!

My 30-year old patio, porch, and sidewalk were in desperate need of a facelift. I contacted several companies, but knew I'd found the right one when Alan R. from Bersello helped me design not only upgrades to my hardscaping, but also addressed drainage issues that helped keep my home dry and safe. While working on my patio, the crew discovered structural issues that needed to be addressed. Carpenters arrived the next day to address the problem. During installation of my sidewalk and patio, the crew was professional, neat, and polite. It was a pleasure to work with Juan, whose masonry work is a thing of beauty. The attention to detail, the willingness to make small changes, and the beauty of the final project confirmed my initial impression: I found the best possible company for my landscaping and lighting needs. My patio is my new happy place and my neighbors love my new subdued outdoor lighting. Thank you, Bersello! #veryhappycustomer

We hired Borsello Landscaping to redesign our front yard from blah to BEAUTIFUL! The Borsello staff were a pleasure to work with from the planning stages all the way through final project completion. Everyone from Mike Borsello to the gentlemen who hand placed the rocks and boulders were extremely polite, clean cut and very attentive to our ideas for changes to the proposed project. My wife works from home and they tailored their noisier work such that she could participate in telephone meetings. I cannot say enough great things about the Borsello company and their people!!!

This is our second time using Borsello Landscaping. They are very professional and their workmanship is exemplary! The employees are respectful and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves each day. We loved the patio that Mike designed as well as his ideas for landscaping. He was very easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely recommend them!

Borsello was great to work with. After interviewing four other landscapers Borsello was up front and honest about what would work and what wouldn't in the space we had. Their design team knew exactly what we wanted. The crew was always on time and very polite and professional. We are extremely happy we went with Borsello. From design to implementation they were a dream to work with.

We could not be more pleased with how our front walkway, steps and landscape project came out. Our friends and family were blown away to see the complete makeover. Mike was so wonderful to work with throughout the design phase and installation of our complicated project. The installation team was so nice and answered any questions we had as the project came to fruit. We would highly recommend Borsello if you’re looking to do any landscape or hardscape projects. We are excited to work with Mike and his team in the future on other projects at our home.

Mike Borsello and his team finished a second landscaping job for us in late Fall. We are looking forward to enjoying the beautiful design he created in the Spring. From the design process through the installation process, the Borcello team was courteous, hard-working and very professional. I would highly recommend their services.

Working with Borsello has been a pleasure from start to finish. They created a design that "wowed" our socks off and they handled the execution of everything from permits to materials, to construction. Our backyard is now a beautiful, welcoming resort-at-home. We're so happy with the end-result!

We needed to take an area outside our kitchen window from an ugly view of the generator and HVAC unit to a garden, but I had no idea the magic Borsello could work. Everything from the landscape architecture to the last detail was included in the bid and came in on time. The outcome is impeccable, and the workmanship is incredible. Truly built to last. Dean Stafford managed the project and was so friendly and easy to work with. Any little concern I had along the way was addressed immediately.

Mike Borsello and his staff are professional, courteous, genuinely great people. Throughout the design phase, execution and through to completion, Mike is working with you, listening to your design ideas, hearing your concerns, answering all your questions. I couldn't be more pleased with how fantastic my landscaping looks now! He transformed my property. He understood and incorporated my vision, exceeding my expectations. I look forward to working with Mike for years to come. Simply put, Mike and his staff are fantastic to work with.

Borsello redid all of my beds and added rock beds along my home. Everything is coming in well and all plantings have survived with nothing needing replaced. Mike Borsello, owner, has even stopped by a couple of times to follow-up on the work. Highly recommend using them for your landscape needs.
