We recently had Tropical Marine install our dock and boat lift, and we couldn’t be happier with them. From beginning to end, we were impressed. Initially we had a design that we thought we wanted, but after reviewing it with them, we realized that they had a design that worked much better for us.

They were great at notifying us of what was going on through each step, were very knowledgable, and made sure we had what we wanted. Our neighbors watched as they installed the decking and said that they were careful to make sure it was right and their workers were very considerate. A couple months after it was done we had a minor issue, and they went above and beyond to fix it, doing more than what we would have expected. We are glad that we chose them for our dock and would gladly do it again.

I searched the area for dock builders and I found Tropical marine to be the cheapest. I was surprised to find out after the timely construction of my dock that their workmanship is totally top shelf. Debbie and John are very professional people to deal with. There are no hidden costs and they stand by their work. I will definitely use them again for my future projects. Chris Y

I can't say enough good things about this company. The entire process from start to finish went so smoothly and fast. The end product was more than I dreamed of. The office employees kept in touch with me the whole process and even came to jobsite to make sure all was on track. The workmanship of their crews are exceptional, as well as hardworking and able to answer any questions I had along the way. Great experience from beginning to end. Before I purchased my condo at the end of 2016, I needed an assessment of my dock and estimate for a lift. Later when I was ready to buy, there were no surprises....on price, permits, schedule or anything. Installation crew was on time, professional and accommodating. Debbie was always "above and beyond" providing guidance on questions I had about my lift, electrical vendor, installation process/schedule and advice on replacing the deck on my captain's walk. I highly recommend Tropical Marine.

We are so pleased with our experiences with Tropical Marine Construction on the design and realization of our new canal dock and tiki living space. John and Debbie were great to work with from the start. Debbie designed our dock and tiki before we even had a home purchased. John came to a few of the listed homes we were considering, to assess the feasibility and any concerns, giving us confidence in our decisions. Our new home, by chance, was familiar to John, as the existing 20+ year old dock and lift were installed by him, years ago. Debbie worked with us on each detail, finding the exact materials we wanted, even through the shortages the pandemic has spawned. The removal of the old dock and lift was handled professionally and neatly, and the Barge Crew (Zach, Josh, Matt and Bill) worked to carefully and confidently install the pilings for our new dock and lifts. John was on site (and in the water) for some of the fun. The framing crew (Dustin, Kyle, Dalton, Justin and Jared) completed the dock framing and decking showing great skill and attention to detail in each step of the process. It was obvious that they were quality focused, and took time to answer any questions that we had. They cleaned up debris daily and were professional throughout. They installed the lifts with great care and made sure they were ready for electrical contractor. We also had Tropical repair several seawall seams that were showing a bit of depression, an added benefit with Tropical Marines full service capabilities. Debbie has been wonderful in staying in touch, either by phone or on site during the construction and is truly focused on making certain we are thrilled with the process and the final dock. We recommend Tropical Marine for any construction or repair needs others might have.

I hired Tropical Marine Construction to remove my old wooden dock and replace it with a new dock with Tandeck decking board. The entire job went perfectly! The work was done right on schedule, exactly as planned, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Tropical Marine is a professional crew that provided quality results and everyone at Tropical was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone wanting a professional, quality job at a more than reasonable price.

The staff at tropical were prompt, polite, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. the office staff Debbie and Lisa were extremely professional and often stopped by to check on the progress of the ensuring everything was shipshape. I would like to personally thank the team who came by to build the dock as it truly is amazing, and was completed in a timely manner. I had spoke with them on many occasions and they walked me through overstep of the process. thank you Justin, Zach, Jared, Kyle, and bill for creating a truly unique and amazing space for my home .

I have used Tropical Marine a few times over the past 4 or 5 years. This last time we rebuilt / reconfigured my dock. They do a great job, show up when promised, and their workman are efficient, professional, courteous and friendly. As a business owner myself I demand that my staff put the customer first. Apparently John and Debbie at Tropical share my philosophy. I highly recommend them.

The guys from Tropical Marine did a great job. Tore down my 30 year old dock and installed a great new dock. Dealing with Debbie in the office was great. Zach, Matt, and little Josh were great. There was no loud music blaring the whole time. The workers were courteous and asked what else needed to be done. They were very careful about my landscaping and my lawn. To my surprise they cleaned up all the debris every night. Kept as much of the lumber and material off the lawn so the lawn people could cut the grass and I had no dead spots in lawn. They did a GREAT job. Could not be happier.

We obtained several estimates and although pricing was not significantly different we were impressed with the responsiveness of John and Debbie and signed the contract. We purchased this home earlier this year and watched Tropical's competitors install pilings a few houses down the canal from us. The competitors pilings were installed approximately 2 months before we contracted with John and Debbie. Our dock was completed before our neighbors. Our Crew of Zack, Bill , Kyle, Jared, Justin and Sean were all excellent. They were at our home every day on time and worked throughout the day, something we find to be a rarity in Cape Coral. They always explained what they were doing and always insisted that, whatever the days project, that it was competed correctly. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that is seeking a professional job at a very reasonable price. If you need a new dock or work on your current dock don't waste your time on bids from competitors like we did. Just call Tropical Marine and save yourself a lot of time

We had a GREAT experience with Debbie & the crew at Tropical Marine Construction. Debbie is an excellent communicator and kept us updated throughout the project. The crew tore out and replaced a dilapidated dock, in addition to covering our cantilever dock. Matt, Bill, & Dillon did a great job aligning the new section with our existing dock. Every detail was meticulously addressed so that we now have a seamless dock running the length of our property. It looks so much better than we could have imagined! We were impressed with their work ethic and appreciated that a thorough cleanup was done - not a trace of construction debris was left behind. Really, we couldn’t be happier!

Bill, Glen and Seth did a great driving pilings and completing the lift install. Tropical Marine gave me a very fair deal and delivered it in excess of my expectations I highly recommend them!

We ultimately chose a design/build offered by a different contractor but I have used them in the past and the work was great and the more recent proposal was prompt and thoughtful. Thank you!

Our Boat Lift Motors were under water during Hurricane Milton. Tropical Marine replaced both motors and gear boxes while the boat was on the lift. It was only about 2 weeks from my first call until the job was complete. Communication was superb and the repair crew was competent and helpful. Other people I called did not return calls or could not do the job for months. I highly recommend these people. Call Debbi

Very competitive price, fast service and most importantly, attention to detail. Our dock looks amazing, tight cuts around the posts, hard workers. Don't go anywhere else!

Don't trust these people!
Took them 5 months to replace 1 piling. They kept stringing us along that it would be soon for months.

Worst part was when they finally came to do the work they left the boat sitting out of the water causing the barnicles to dry to the hull.
This is such a amateur mistake, everyone knows barnicles come off easy in the water but ofer they dry they form a coral reef on the bottom of the boat.
Even worse, instead of saying sorry they shouldn't have done that, the owners tried to convince us taking barnicles off is easier dry (Google and 100% of the cleaning people we talk to say the opposite).

Them leaving the boat put of the water cost us nearly $5000. between cleaning and resurfacing the hull.

You'll see I attached her saying its easier to remove barnicles dry and what the expert barnicle removers say and what google ai says...

My recent communications with Debbie at Tropical Marine has been absolutely fabulous. Their pricing is very competitive and their response time to emails and phone calls has been 10/10. Thanks Debbie!

Review rating changed after discussion with Tropical Marine. There was a mix up with scheduling and the technician came out the next day when I was not present. An estimate for the work needed was emailed to me, however it went to my junk mail so I had not seen it.

We selected Tropical Marine Construction after entertaining four different contractor quotes for our dock renovation project. John and Debbie were very responsive throughout the project and provided good ideas and options for the final design. The construction crew was seasoned and knew how to resolve issues that surfaced during the project execution. The quality of the work was excellent and tropical coordinated with the electrical contractor to complete the job on time. The pricing was good and they were reasonable when we added work to update the dock fenders and other features. We would recommend Topical Marine to friends and family and would use them again ourselves.

We just had our Dock and Lift installed by Tropical Marine Cape Coral. I could not be more pleased. Not only was I pleased with their work they were ahead of schedule. I moved here in July 2022 and my dock was finished Sept 14th 2022. I wasn't expecting to have my dock started until Oct/Nov/Dec time frame so imagine my surprise when they started in August. Great group of guys and Lisa was great as well. Shout out to Kevin and Jarid for doing the finishing touches. They worked their tails off to get it done and done right. All my canal neighbors have Dock envy. Beautiful work and very professional crew. Thank you so much for the work you did. I would recommend Tropical to everyone.
