We recently hired Brandon to finish a dock that a previous dock company had started. We couldn’t have been more grateful or impressed. From our first interaction with Brandon he was professional, knowledgeable and reassuring of what needed to be done to finish our project.
The quality of his workmanship was outstanding. He corrected some issues, improved the overall design and left us with a dock that is beautiful and met our end goal.
Communication was excellent, he kept us updated daily and answered all our questions and concerns.

Brandon did a great job installing Gem remotes and hooking up our new jetski lifts! He was very responsive from my first call to him. He is one of those rare contractors that shows up when he says he will, does what he said he would and is very fair on his pricing. Brandon has been the most responsive and prompt of the many contractors we've used on Sanibel. I'd highly recommend him and his team. They performed dock alteration, electrical and lift work and the final product was excellent!

Brandon was excellent to work with providing repair and cost options and recommendations based on our location and situation. His prices were reasonable and very competitive. They did the work promptly with great results.

Tight space with old existing bulkhead and old wooden deck. They were neat, prompt, priced right and courteous. My neighbor was so impressed he had them do his as well.

I’ve been living on the water for almost 30 years and I’ve done numerous bulkhead projects. Never have I experienced such professionalism as we experienced with this company. Steve is great to deal with. His crew came in and did two lifts along with all the electrical and carpentry. They worked like a fine tuned engine. Highly recommend.

I must complement Steven Kitzen of Kitzen Construction for such a great job on my home, and the other five homes that he did on my block, Kitzen Construction is a fabulous company for bulkhead and for finishing yards after bulkheading , you don’t even know that the job was done that’s how beautiful he does it. He is a hands-on boots on the ground guy. Kitzen Construction is a top-notch company I would recommend to anyone. I have used them on a couple of different projects ranging from Marine construction to Residential construction. the company delivers a high quality work product in a timely fashion at fair prices. The staff is always courteous to deal with and are careful when working on the job site not to damage anything that's on site but not part of the project. I highly recommend Kitzen Construction. I’ve had them do three different houses for bulkheads, as well as install two boat lifts. There were no surprises. The work was done perfectly, and the finished product was incredible. They always stayed on the timeline. They were the most reasonable company out there to do sea walls. Steven was a regular person to talk to, not like a robot. He completed the job before the expected end date. He came back three times for no charge to adjust things for me. I’ve dealt with a few companies and this is the best one I’ve had. I’ll use and recommend him always.

The Best of Long Island! If you need something done Steven and his teams are the guys you want for the job! I’ve lived on the water for over 25 years… and I was blown away with the work they did. They are so professional and do amazing work! I needed my entire backyard renovated from top to bottom bulk head, pier, floating docks and new boat lifts for my 45 foot cruiser…. my backyard is now a DREAM thanks to Kitzen construction. HIGHLY, highly recommend giving the owner a call and seeing what he can do for you! This man has a ton of experience that span generationally between him and his father so he knows what he doing.

I’ve worked with Steve (Kitzen) since 2013. He did my bulkhead, my entire back yard (pool, bars, etc), boat and jet ski lifts and much more. Steve’s work is amazing. He’s got wonderful vision and is a great communicator. Best part is, Steve was there after Sandy. The day before he help protect my glass railings. After Sandy he was there surveying the damage. His crew not only did so much for my backyard but helped out in so many other areas. When a storm impacted my float, Steve was there helping me through it. When my boat list had an issue, he was there. Only if you knew Steve like i do you’d understand this review is totally genuine. Two years ago we wanted to redo a portion of our backyard and Steve knew i was only going ask him to work on it. He was so fair pricing wise and can’t thank him enough.
