Kitzen Construction recently rebuilt our bulkhead and did a fantastic job! The owner Steve is a great guy, honest, and very knowledgeable about marine construction/ backyard renovation. Steve is very easy to work and communicate with. His team, including the foreman John, were all professional, diligent, and respectful of our property. We had several companies give us estimates, and Kitzen gave us the best price using the best materials. It was not a simple job as we have over 100ft of bulkhead and needed helical piles for additional support. All of the work was done as promised and in a very timely fashion. We are now using Kitzen for helical piles/ grade beams for our patio and other backyard work. They came highly recommended from a number of friends, including an owner of a local marina, and I understand why. I can confidently and highly recommend Kitzen Construction to anyone in need of marine construction!

Kitzen construction did a beautiful job on my pier (110’) floating dock, boat lift and modified another boat lift to accommodate my two jet skis. He even supplied and installed my ez port jet ski docks. Considerable planning and forethought went into designing the perfect backyard oasis which truly makes it like being on vacation when I’m actually at home.

Furthermore, he obtained all the permits for me from Dec, army corps and the town put together a beautiful final product. Hands down recommend Steven and his crew of amazing employees .

We have had a sinking backyard for many years as do our neighbors. When our neighbor was redoing her bulkhead we were so impressed with the workman that we hired Kitzen on the spot. Now mind you these projects are involved and take a lot of time from start to finish but we could not be happier with our end result. Our house looks like a resort and Steve had so many great ideas for us to customize the project. Adding ropes, downward lighting and even mixing our deck colors. We can not wait to start this summer season and show off our new yard.

We had a great experience with Kitzen Construction and would recommend them to anyone looking to do marine or outdoor work! Our bulkhead was in complete disrepair and needed a total rebuild. We had gotten pricing from several companies and felt that their quote was fair. They started the job shortly after our permits were approved and we were truly amazed how hard their team worked to get it complete within 3 weeks; they did a FANTASTIC job and it came out better than I could have imagined. We opted for additional work afterwards to build a boardwalk, add railings, and level the ground with fill- it was super easy to work with them and they got it done timely. The owner was always in communication with us throughout the process and was very helpful when we had questions. Their team are some of the nicest and truly hardest workers I have ever seen. They clearly have integrity and take pride in what they do; their work is solid and the before & after photos speaks for itself!
