Rich and the guys at Rockborn Electric LLC just completed an electrical upgrade from a fuse box (and accessory panels) to 18 circuits in a new 100amp service circuit breaker subpanel. The team was prompt, communication was awesome, they helped to consolidate decades of "patch" work on the electric service, were incredibly courteous, and tidied up after. They also did this in a very efficient timeframe as part of a relatively last-minute request. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the great work at a very fair price.

If you are looking for residential or commercial electric, I cannot recommend them more highly.

Rich is top notch. I had a large new garage and breezeway built- Rockborn was never late, always showed up when they said and were a pleasure to have in and around the house. Good leadership matters and this starts with Rich. Rich has done a beautiful job in the area building his reputation as a preferred contractor for electrical work. I highly recommend them for any small or large job!

My project was a design build in which I leaned on Rich and his experience to guide several large decisions.

I had a great experience with this company and highly recommend them. Rich was extremely transparent throughout the entire process, explained everything clearly, and was able to get me scheduled quickly. His men were just as polite and forthcoming about work they were doing in my home. I never felt pressure to do a ton of unnecessary upgrades and the price of the work I did have done was fair. What really stood out was how willing they were to go above and beyond to switch out outlets and trim back bushes so the meter work could be completed, at no extra charge. It’s rare to find a company that is professional and genuinely helpful! Will definitely be reaching out to them if I have any future electrical needs!

Michael was fantastic! He was on time, he was skilled, he was great at troubleshooting , and he had extra outlets and breakers for that needed repair/replacement! We talked via email and text when I had an issue after that was unrelated to the repairs and he made time to help, my fav electrician.

Way to go Mike! He is top on my list. I texted him with an issue with my generator and he went step by step to fix it. It was running but not producing power. He brought a big smile when it was fixed. He was polite, wasn't stopping till it was running correctly. Pricing was very fair. Generators wasn't his specialty, but you'd never know it.

I wanted to send huge thank you to Myles at Direct Electric for his work in updating my 1970 Sears and Robuck Electrical panel.

A bit of a backstory. I had another company (which we will call company A) come up and look at my panel and provided to a quote to update to 200AMP’s, their master electrician looked at it. I agreed to the quote and they gave me a date to have the upgrade occur. Company A showed up at that date, and forgot to have me sign the permit. The upgrade was delayed a few weeks. They showed up the second time and had forgotten to schedule with Eversource to turn the power off. It got pushed off again. The day before the 3rd attempt, they called me and said the line would need to be dug up and upgraded since I wanted 200AMP’s and they would have requote. Needless to say I was done with them.
I reached out to Myles and within a week he was on site looking at the panel and everything. He noticed after 5 seconds that my panel was already a 200AMP panel, and the line was already capable of handling 200AMPs. This would require no digging and replacing the buried lines. I set up a date and time with Myles, he checked in before the date to ensure it still worked (communication was awesome), he showed up that morning with his team and got to work. Eversource showed up an hour or so later and did their part. Everything went smoothly and the panel was updated within a day. Overall, he saved me a lot of stress and probably close to $5000.
My father in law is a master electrician, so naturally he had to inspect all of Myles’s work. He even gave it praise, and he never gives anything praise. That just shows how capable Myles is. I even had Myles come back and install an automatic transfer switch so I could run a generator.
Overall Myles did an amazing job, and I look forward to working with him on other projects in the future.
