SunBlue is the only solar energy company you should consider if you are purchasing your system. If you have been shopping the solar circus, you know there are a lot of companies out there with plenty of options/plans but beware… not all providers are upfront during the initial sales process and are more interested in your signature on the dotted line.

The SunBlue team was pleasantly the opposite. They sell and install solar systems… nothing else. From start to finish, the SunBlue team demonstrated patience and professionalism (we had a lot of questions; the answers of which were repeated multiple times… and they never once flinched). They sat with us a few times to help us determine the size of the system we need and how my system works with net-metering. Honestly, when you are shelling out $15-$20k, you do your homework and SunBlue was with us every step of the way.

Once we went to contract, SunBlue handled everything: permits, inspections, installation, electrical and follow up. During installation, the team was polite and considerate… asking to take shoes off before entering my home and always greeting the dogs with enthusiasm. SunBlue stuck to their production and installation schedule (panels installed in 1.5 days). What really impressed me is that Chris, the owner of the company, came by during both the sales process and the installation process to ensure the quality of the job and the happiness of his crew and the customer… You don’t see that too often.

SunBlue did an amazing job installing our home solar system almost three years ago and the system has continually performed as promised. That said, I've been both impressed and thankful for the few instances where I had questions and a single monitoring issue (my wifi changed) of the entire SunBlue team. Always friendly, honest, professional and helpful.

Chris and his team were always patient and answered all my questions in details. From the beginning of project planning to the end of system installation, the team persistently demonstrated their professional expertise. I feel comfortable to have them install the solar system for my home. The whole process, including permit application to net meter installation by utility company, was completely handled/requested by SunBlue, and it takes less than three months. SunBlue matches the best warranty available in the market. I feel confident that SunBlue will be with me down the road on needs to maintain the system.

We had a bit of a prolonged process with exploring solar panels, as it was during the pandemic and we changed our minds quite a few times. There were a few design changes and also panels that stopped being manufactured, but nonetheless, the Sun Blue Energy team handled all the pivots seamlessly.

Once the design was approved, the Sun Blue team handled permiting and the installation was done in a few hours. The on-site manager walked us through the controls and what was installed, and that was it!

We’ve now had our panels for over a year and our bills are just a fraction of what they were prior to our installation.

I really have nothing bad to say about my experience with Sunblue. I had panels installed several years ago, and from the get-go they were fast, hands-on, responsive, respectful, and responsive.

Whenever a minor technical issue arose, they were able to troubleshoot the problem and quickly correct it. They answer my phone and emails within one day at most.

Their estimate of how much power I produced was dead-on. Even today, I am delighted to have low energy bills- sometimes no bill at all.

They explained the financing options, and were able to assist with getting a no-interest loan for much of the cost.

Years later, when I had to have my rook replaced (dont make the same mistake I did- replace your roof first if you need to!), they were able to remove the panels and have them back up in no time at all.

In short, Sunblue is great. I have no reservations about recommending them to others who are interested in making the jump to solar.

I interviewed a few different companies and SunBlue was by far the most transparent, supportive and efficient. From start to finish they helped me understand building requirements, helped me with the loan application and even figure out what loan would be better for us. The install was seamless - the crew was great, informative and installed in one day when the estimate was three! I cannot recommend this company enough.

SunBlue team was professional. They city bureaucracy took a while, but the SunBlue contact was great about keeping on top of them - so it was very much a hands off process for me.

The system is setup nicely - no issues in construction, and we're producing more than enough power to meet our needs.

SunBlue installed a solar project at our home in Westchester in 2019. Chris and his team were very professional through the sales, permitting, and installation process. We looked at a few different solar installers, but found SunBlue's lack of pressure sales to be refreshing. We also appreciated that the company was local and had references in the community.

The SunBlue team were efficient and friendly during their installation of our 35 panel system. The install was clean, with conduit running in the attic and down the side of the home. I just wish I had more roof space to increase output.

Our solar production has been quite consistent over the past 5 years. We did have a small issue with our inverter's connectivity for metrics, and SunBlue came out to service it promptly.

We have been using SunBlue Energy solar panels and service for seven years. Before selecting a solar provider, we conducted extensive online research before reaching out to solar companies for consultation. We brought in two well known national companies and SunBlue Energy, ( a local company ). The national companies made pitches that were not convincing and their point of reference was more about their needs than our needs. I found a reference for SunBlue online and we gave them an opportunity. SO glad that we did. The sales process was a true consultation not a pitch. Jonathan listened closely to our needs and addressed all of our questions promptly and professionally. Jonathan was very detailed in the depth of his explanations and provided us with several customer references that we checked out immediately. All of the SunBlue references were stellar and the home owners that we contacted were extremely satisfied with the process and the results. We are happy to state that we are equally satisfied. Everything from the first house call to the final flip of the switch went exactly as was described to us. There have been no surprises. The installers, the office staff, the support team, even Chris Hale the owner of SunBlue, are all engaged in the process. The work was done efficiently, the workers courteous, respectful and neat. We have had only one minor software issue in seven years and the SunBlue team responded immediately. The issue was resolved in a few hours. We saw the cost saving results of going green immediately. I would highly recommend choosing SunBlue Energy as your solar installer if you live in or around Westchester County. We spoke with Chris, the president of the company, during our initial meeting where he explained everything we needed to know and what to expect from the proposed system. I had met with a couple other installers as well, and the specs of the pitch are basically the same with the regard the benefits of having solar power. What I appreciated about Chris and SunBlue was that he never was overly pushy, nor using "salesman" type tactics, and truly felt like he just wanted to make sure we had all the information we needed for the decision. They were also willing to work with us on the price and configuration as well. Also, all installers present a similar cost-saving estimate, but there's sometimes sleight-of-hand with the values they populate for ConEd energy rates and expected increases. SunBlue's estimates for these numbers seems like the most reasonable and comparable to our actual bills. After we signed the agreement with them, the process could not have been more seamless. SunBlue took care of everything you'd expect: designing, permits, inspections, etc, without us ever having to think about anything. The office was always very communicative during the process, and we were always well-informed about the progress. The install itself took place in less than a day and the city inspection was complete and all permits closed out the next day. The whole process was complete about 8 weeks after we signed the agreement. This efficiency was definitely appreciated with how quickly the clean energy incentives are being removed these days. After our system was fully connected with ConEd, Chris came back again to see how everything went and to go over again all of the details of the system. It's been about a month since we started generating energy, and while it was a very hot and sunny August, it was still nice to see that the system generated 30% more than what was projected. All in all, again would highly recommend choosing SunBlue.

I first got estimates from SunBlue a few years ago and wasn't ready to move forward yet, but I came back earlier this year and they seamlessly picked up right where we had left off. Working with them was incredibly easy. They communicated clearly about the steps I needed to take and the permitting/installation timeline. The panels look great on the house and have been working perfectly. It was really a relief working with them after talking to other solar providers who were much pushier.

Our panels were installed in 2013. No regrets at all! The system has more than paid for itself and is now contributing "fuel" to our EV. We've had no issues with the system, which continues to deliver above estimated. Good stuff, highly recommend SunBlue Energy!

SunBlue installed a 43-panel system for us eight years ago, and it has continued to meet over 100% of our electric usage needs! We also monitor the performance on the SolarEdge app in real time, which is a really nice feature.

We started our solar panel install journey about a year ago. After multiple estimates from the big solar companies we were lucky to find SunBlue Energy through our roofing contractor. All the big companies were telling us we can fit 25-26 panels on our roof, basically taking up every inch of space. We would have had big problems if we proceeded with those guys. Chris Hale from SunBlue explained to us that every village and town in the area has their own fire codes when it comes to solar panels on roof. Setbacks from ridge and sides is mandatory for pathways should there be a fire emergency. Chris was able to get us 22 panels at a great price and gave us a modest estimate of solar production. We are 8 months in and our highest ConEd bill is $30.86. We used to average $215 a month. Our system has had zero issues and runs flawlessly every day thanks to the great install crew. And everyone that works in the offices are always there to help and respon to any emails promptly. I can’t recommend SunBlue Energy enough.

We did our research and spoke to several solar companies on how practical it would be for a cost effective setup as we have a challenging roof due to tree shading. We also did not want to cut all our trees down as that is counter intuitive and we care about the environment. One company reviewed our property and immediately told us it wasn’t going to work without removing all the trees. Another large company was very pushy for us to get a large and expensive setup. SunBlue was very honest and quick providing us with the in-depth analysis, detailed responses on savings vs. installation cost and break even estimates with and without tree removal. The whole process went smoothly and they handled everything from the town from permitting, utility filing (Coned), to inspection. Actual installation was complete in a couple days and we were done start to finish in 4 months. The entire team at SunBlue was fantastic the entire journey. We highly recommend them if you’re exploring solar.
