We had a system installed by another solar company that unfortunately went out of business. We needed support for service on our battery and Sattler was recommended by LG Chem. Lisandro and his team at Sattler went out of their way to ensure our problem was diagnosed and resolved correctly. It turned out the battery was fine but there was an issue with the inverter and they took care of getting it replaced with SolarEdge. We look forward to a long relationship moving forward with Sattler and appreciate their assistance in fixing our issue.

My wife and I had a great experience with Sattler Solar, a company that provides home solar panel and battery installation in San Diego. The CEO Erik Sattler and COO Cosmin Tobos were very professional "hands-on" Managers, friendly and very helpful throughout the whole process. They answered all our questions and explained everything clearly. They also gave us a fair and competitive quote for the entire system that suited our needs and budget. Additionally, Sattler Solar installed the latest and greatest SPAN electric Panel and EV-Charger.

The installation was done quickly and efficiently by their skilled and courteous team. They took care of all the permits, inspections and paperwork. They also showed us how to use the system and monitor its performance. The system works flawlessly and we're very happy with the results. We're saving money on my electricity bills and reducing my carbon footprint.

I was having trouble with my original solar installer and needed to get a new roof installed. I found Sattler Solar on the Panasonic authorized installer website to maintain my 25 year panel warranty. Erik, Kenny and the team went above and beyond to help coordinate removing the panels and reroof. They were always responsive answering my phone calls and prompt to answer questions by email. They worked in conjunction with JC roofing and handled the scheduling so I did not have to act as my own contractor. I had a need to get the job done on a certain timeline and both teams exceeded by expectations.

Highly recommend Sattler Solar. They put solar on for my neighbors, so I called them up. I needed to get two different properties done in a big hurry to make the NEM2 cutoff date. They got both jobs done smoothly, and for a good price too. Everyone was super professional and easy to work with. The quality of the install, panels, and micro-inverters are excellent. They also took care of SD City permits and SDG&E connection processes. Sattler is small enough that they were willing to work with me to place panels where I wanted them (note: other larger firms were unwilling/unable to do this). I’m super happy.

We had a great experience working with Sattler Solar for our installation. They were responsive to our questions, designed a 22-panel system that blended well with our existing pool solar, and coordinated the roof inlay for the Spanish tile. The process was smooth and quick, and the roof solar looks amazing.

Fenominal crew that was out here working hard and had my installation of 26 panels done in less that a day or 2. Almost one year later my solar has been great and no issues! Great company! Sattler Solar just completed installation of a solar energy system at the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation Nature Center in Carlsbad. This project was funded by a Neighborhood Reinvestment Program Grant from the County of San Diego. The project was completed on-time, at cost and with no issues. The Sattler team was a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend Sattler and invite the public to see the system at 7380 Gabbiano Lane.

I was having some issues with my solar panels was referred to Sattler since our panels were installed before we moved in and couldn't track down the initial installer. They quickly determined it was the inverter and worked directly with the manufacturer to get a replacement. They were very responsive, affordable and easy to deal with.

I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Sattler Solar. They installed our system in 2017. Recently our inverter stopped working and I reached out to Sattler Solar. They had a tech out and a warranty claim with a new inverter on the way within days (at no cost to me). They installed the new one on Christmas Eve! Great company. Even the owner Erik is quick to respond to texts. I highly recommend this company!!!

Erik did all the math for me, and provided 3 options for my existing solar system. I ended up getting only new panels but, this saved me a huge amount because the panels produce 50% more than previous panels! HIGHLY recommend Erik, and Sattler Solar. Thank you Daniel for you install!

Sattler Solar installed our solar system in 2018. Everyone involved, from Erik the owner to all his employees were great, and obviously knew the solar industry inside and out. Years later when we needed to have the roof replaced, we had Sattler remove and then reinstall the panels and mounting hardware. They also inspected all connections, and cleaned all the panels. The only issue was the inverter going bad and that was replaced under warranty. All these issues were taken care promptly and efficiently. If you're looking to go solar, I would highly suggest having Sattler Solar come out and explain the concept and how it all works !!!

I was considering going solar on my house so I started the long process of getting quotes from reputable companies. A friend highly recommended Sattler Solar, who did their system, so they were on my list. I contacted Sattler Solar and the next day the owner, Eric Sattler showed up. This is a good start. He asked me several questions about my future usage, roof etc. and explained the process then hopped on my roof. He had some test equipment that showed the amount of shading my roof would get at different parts of the day/year. He inspected my electrical box and in a short time before he left, he gave me a verbal quote with options from two very good solar panel manufacturers. Later that night, I received an email with both quotes which had options which I could add onto them (adding 1 additional panel to be way oversize and it would fit great). After securing several other quotes from companies who sent out sales guys, not an owner/experienced solar engineer like Erik, it was clear Erik was my guy. Sattler Solar was very competitive and included every cost and task in the quote so it was all inclusive (SDGE contract and hookup fee, deal with the nightmare city). Things moved quickly. He answered all my questions (I am an engineer and had lots of questions). He is very organized at every phase. Only 1 week later he had permits in hand and did the install. He met the delivery truck with his 2 vans at my house at the exact time he scheduled with me. It was comforting to know the owner of the company and his full licensed electrician who has done over 700 service panel upgrades were part of the team on my roof along with 2 other very smart/respectful guys. They all had masks on for COVID safety. In 2 days they had installed a huge system, 21 panels, the new solar box etc.! There was not one piece of trash anywhere including in my trash cans. Every detail was perfect. Thy moved my Dish network dish and repointed it with no issues to avoid any shading it would have caused on the panels. They sealed the old holes and even painted the conduit on the roof to match the roof and painted the conduit to match the stucco down the side of my house which was mostly hidden behind my rain gutter. They fixed a couple issues in my electrical box, not related to their work in any way. The city inspector came out and I heard him say this was a perfect install, no issues, everything clean and tight, he thanked them for leaving the new additional ground rod exposed for inspection. In less than 3 weeks I have working solar, with monitoring on every panel so I can see the output etc. I have receipts, warranties (25 years direct from Panasonic), SDGE signed contract for them to buy my electricity for 20 years etc. I look forward to submitting my receipts at tax time and get that tax credit by the feds. I am VERY happy with the Sattler Solar, they are all very honest and open about everything. It has been 2 years since the install and I (and several neighbors he did solar for) am happy to recommend Sattler.

Sattler Solar added a solar array to my home 5 years ago. The installation was flawless and I haven’t had any issues with the array. They just added two Powerwall 3 batteries this week. The install team showed up on time, were courteous, very knowledgeable about the product and completed the install in under six hours. Pricing was very competitive and their Customer Service is top-notch. I’d recommend you consider using Sattler Solar for your project!

Overall I am glad we went through Straight Up to get our panels installed. They were the third company we worked with to get panels installed on our house and the one company to actually follow through and get them. The first company ended up going bankrupt and the second company had delay after delay, so never saw them even come out to assess the house, we waited about a year and they still couldn't get the permits, thus we tried one more company, and I'm glad we did. We had some hurdles and road blocks with some getting some of the permits, with getting Ameren cooperating sometimes, and quite a bit with some of the electrical inspectors, but Straight Up handled the issues well and we got our panels and battery in the end. To be fair, while the issues were annoying and caused a good amount of delays, it wasn't Straight Up's fault, so 5-Stars for their service and handling of the issues! They also did a great job keeping in contact to keep me in the loop and give me updates on the status of the project.
