Unfortunately many solar companies lean towards the sketchy side. Fortunately, StraightUp is not one of those companies. We had them replace an inverter last year and it worked fine for about a year, then it quit and triggered an error code. The service crew came out and were on the roof for a bit, and when they were done, we were told no charge as it was due to an installation error. Mistakes happen, and I am ok with that, especially when the company owns up to it and fixes the issue at no charge. This is especially impressive since I am not an electrician, and would have had no idea it was an installation error unless they informed me. Kudos to the repair crew and kudos to the Service Project Manager for also proactively following up with more details. This place is super professional, and I highly recommend them for your solar needs.

When we had our roof shingles replaced due to their damage in a hail storm, we had our solar panels removed for the roofing work and then reinstalled upon completion of the roofing work. The StraightUp Solar workers did an excellent job with both tasks. They were very efficient in their work and completed the tasks within the schedule and cost they gave us. After the reinstallation they tracked our solar system to ensure it was operating properly. I rate their customer service as outstanding!

I have several solar systems at a number of locations. I've worked with more than one company. I am pleased with StraightUp. Office management is very attentive. The field technicians are knowledgeable and work efficiently. The sales staff is respectful and listen to detail. Their repair and service prices are reasonable. This is the company I will be using for the foreseeable future.

I am extremely pleased about my experience with Blue Raven. From start to finish they literally handled everything including obtaining approvals from my homeowner's association. I purchased a fairly large system but they were able to install it in only a day and a half. They showed up right on time both days and the installation looks awesome. I was able to get an up close inspection with my son's drone. One of the best parts of the deal is that we were able to remove our trees from our backyard. They were way too tall. The tree removal is also subject to the 30% federal tax rebate. With free electricity for 18 months, lower bills after that, and no more rate increases ever, going solar was a no brainer for our family.

Process since the beginning has been well communicated with updates in between for progression. Crew came in for installation gave me the rundown on how it was going to go and installed the system with no hiccups in half a day.

Blue Raven was very quick and efficient installing the panels and firing it up. Our sales rep worked hard to get us into the right system for our budget and needs. thanks to the people behind the scenes that made it work.

I’ve never left a positive review for anything but These guys deserve it. No pushy salesman just good people. While I’m dealing with a ton of water damage and a nightmare of home repairs , These guys have been a breath of fresh air . They repeatedly offered to help with no benefit to themselves and later called to check on me . I’d gladly do business with them anytime.

Fantastic from start to finish. No pushy sales. All questions answered. Worked around my schedule. Survey, installation and all permits and paperwork handled perfectly. Possibly the best consumer experience I have had with a vendor from start to finish.

This is a scam company and we had a terrible experience. They come to your house and have you sign forms to schedule a 'roof inspection' but the last form is a commitment to proceed with installing $50K in solar panels that must be cancelled within 3 days otherwise you have a $1200 cancellation fee. We asked the rep numerous times when we would be financially responsibly and she kept telling us 'there's no payment for 18 months after install'. DO NOT engage.

Blue Raven walked us through every stage of the installation process. From the sales rep to the installation team everyone was very professional and knowledgeable.
-
Overall the service was good but there was a problem where when they redid the fuse box they turned off the furnace which controls the AC unit so we had to get an HVAC guy to come out and tell us to flip a breaker after 2 days of being without AC in 80-90 degree weather. they are offering to reimburse the cost of the HVAC guy though.

Could not recommend more. The whole team was easy to work with and handled everything, including submitting paperwork to my HOA and to the county for inspection. Everyone was professional and made sure that I was informed of every step along the way.

I had a wonderful experience with Blue Raven. The salesman answered all my questions. The tech team had to work with my HOA and resolved all issues with supporting documentation very quickly. Permits came through in record time. I am very, very pleased with Blue Raven.

Utterly the worst experience I've ever had. I've never felt so cheated before in my life. I do not recommend Blue Raven to anyone. Their salespeople are liars. Their management team worthless. Between what we're paying for the panels and my current Duke energy bill (which I was told would be $14 monthly for grid connection) our current expense has doubled! Read your contract people! They DON'T guarantee a lower bill per their fine print contract but their salespeople tell you otherwise. Blue Raven should be ashamed of themselves. To the management team at Blue Raven, specifically Elaina and Emily, I have one question for you. How do you sleep at night knowing you have cheated hard working people? I doubt you even have the integrity to keep this review on your website.

They make you drive around with a salesman and do that for almost 2 months with no pay!!! Also when they brought the group of new hires there were 3 of them there showing and telling us about everything about the company the higher-up manager was wearing athletic shorts and an old golf shirt and did not look professional at all while the rest of us were dressed up. He didn't even know what to really say during the meeting and didn't give us much information about what our next steps were. Then the dumbest thing the company did was made it so that if you had an appointment a 1hr away you couldn't call your client to make sure they were going to be there there were multiple occasions I traveled all the way there and there was no one home and then I was able to call them cause they have an app were you have to put out all the information in about the appointment and they could figure out if you called before and if you did they got furious and would cus you out over the phone. A lot of the times I went to the homes the people had to reschedule cause something happens or they weren't there at the house almost all the clients asked why I didn't call ahead of time and I would have to explain how my company wouldn't let me.

This installation went well, the workmen arrived on time completed the work ahead of schedule and left the area clean. There were a few minor problems. The hole used to run conduit from the exterior side of the wall to the interior circuit breaker box was left uncover on the interior side, and a preexisting conduit was left outside of it's mounting clamp. One phone call fixed this. Overall I am completely satisfied.

Installers came. Couldn't finish due to the wrong mounting brackets. Not their fault. Delivery guy put everything at the street. My panels are still in the street for someone to steal or they could get damaged. Im not responsible for them being in the street.I'm NOT HAPPYwith the delivery guy!!!!!!! Tried calling and texting my sales rep, no response. The guys came back today and finished. They did a GREAT Job.

This company has been trouble since the system started being installed (2yrs ago). The biggest concern now is the fact they UNDER SOLD the panels. They should have recommended 14 instead of 13. Girl told me I'd only have a $12-15 bill (other than paying for the Duke Energy box) maybe 2-3 months in the winter. My electric bill for 3 different months IN THE Summer was over 70.00 . Poor planning on their part is costing ME money. I'd give a negative star but that's not on the rating scale. Customer service on up to management is poor also. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Blue Raven has been fantastic so far. From the first time we sat down with Jackie Moore, it has been a seamless process. Most of the time the ball is in my court because they are on top of everything. Jackie updates is weekly and there has been no confusion through the process.

The whole process was so simple and easy!
They did all the work while keeping me up to date and giving me the chance to approve any changes!
the Installers were top notch, taking note to protect or property, clean up their mess, and were able to answer any and all our questions.
The electrician was even kind enough to point out some potential issue that may arise later with some breaker we had.
Over all a top rate company! -
We are very satisfied with the timely installation of our solar panels. The installers were on time & did a very efficient job. They cleaned up after the installation and informed us what comes next. They explained the new thermostat and how to operate it. Over all a very good experience.
