It’s only October but I’m so excited we have our Christmas lights hung already! We’ll wait until Thanksgiving weekend to light up our roof line but they are ready to go. Tim gave an honest quote for two different ways to accent the roof line, an option to rent or buy the lights, the coolest timer, and a promise to be back in spring to take them down. He is kind, fair, and trustworthy.

Tim did a great job putting up our lights this year!! He is someone that’s incredibly easy to work with and willing to put in the extra mile for some of our lights which are harder for us to get. Very pleased with the job he did, would highly recommend!

Tim and Dakota came and installed our Christmas lights both on the front and on our back deck. They were professional, knowledgeable and did an excellent job! They provided on site quotes for various Christmas lights and jobs at other sites. They also explain they do window washing and provided quotes for that as well. We would definitely recommend them to anyone in our neighborhood or family.

Tim did a great job with our Christmas lights this year. They were beautiful 😍! This is the first time we had a professional put up our lights and will be calling Ocra again next year.

I am always IMPRESSED by Orca Christmas Lights installing my lights for me. This is my third time hiring this company for installing my Halloween/Christmas lights.
All I had to do was tell them my ideas of what I wanted & they did exactly what I asked for.

The owner always informs me of designs I want, but is not allowed to have, according to my HOA rules & regulations.

They were able to assist us in completing the installation of our Govee lights on the second story after we had already installed the first story ourselves. They installed the second story lights with their brackets, ensuring that there would be no risk of them falling.

5/5. We recently had ORCA install our Christmas lights, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Tim was exceptionally easy to work with, very communicative, professional, and accommodating. Despite the typical Minnesota weather causing us to reschedule a couple of times, Tim and his crew showed incredible dedication. When they arrived, they worked tirelessly through snowy, miserable conditions for a day and a half to get everything just right.
The finished product is amazing. Tim not only welcomed questions before and after the install, he encouraged them, which made the whole process feel easy and supported. His attention to detail and willingness to ensure we were fully satisfied truly stood out.
I’m so glad we chose ORCA and especially Tim. Highly recommend this company!

Switching to solar with Spartan Solar has been so easy, and I'm on track to save $$ each month. I did the math 10 times before committing to a lease. FPL is increasing costs for the next four to five years to pay for necessary infrastructure upgrades, and they are passing those expenses on to all of us. My electricity bills just kept going up every month. For me, with a solar lease, there was zero out-of-pocket expense, and I'm locked into a monthly rate with Spartan ($85) for year one. It can go up by a fraction of a percentage on an annual basis, but by the end of my lease, the monthly payments are still less than what my avarage bill was just before I made the swith ($200)! Spartan provides insurance and replaces any panels if they are damaged by a storm, etc. I have an app to watch the energy production and how much extra I'm generating, which Spartan gets to sell back to FPL. I do have to pay $10 to FPL each month to sell energy to them, so my total bill is $95, and this is only if I don't use more electricity than the engineering study determined I typically do, but I did two loads of laundry and ran the dishwasher on a Sunday and still came in 50 percent under my total for the week in the first week. There are two people in my household, and Spartan sizes the amount of panels based on amount of people and typical energy consumption. For me, solar is a win win. Also, leases are long term (25 years). At the end of the lease, the panels still have 10 to 20 years of life in them, and you can buy them for a pretty low cost, have them removed, or re-lease. I think Spartan is a great company to consider if you are thinking of going solar in sunny FL!

Edited March 2026: since this review has been posted, we have attempted contact with the company numerous times with no response at all, nobody has been out since we had the home inspection and no contact whatsoever with anyone. They were very great in the beginning but we are very disappointed in how things have gone since doing the credit check and paperwork, we started this process around Labor Day of 2025, and have gone nowhere with it.

Jared has been very informative and has answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. He has been great at making all of the paperwork go smoothly and has been very responsive anytime I contact him, always getting back to me within an hour and getting everything done very quickly!

We had talked to reps from several other solar companies in the past and were not very happy with what we were hearing. Then we met Darius Haris and Elle Haskin! They explained everything in detail and answered every question we had. (And we had alot of questions!) The solar panels are up and looking great! We are just waiting for the final inspection. I'm so glad that we held out for Spartan Solar.

This review is long overdue!! We began this process in February when someone knocked on my door. I was very skeptical initially, but Mike Caldwell explained everything to us and took his time to answer every question we could have. And he helped us thru the process every step of the way! Spartans customer service is excellent and they keep us informed about everything. We had our install done in April and by May everything was approved and we were up and running! We have definitely been saving money, especially during these summer months. Mike has still be a great support when we have questions or need some direction on something. It’s so rare that someone says “call me if you have any questions” and they actually mean it! I would definitely recommend Spartan if you are interested in saving on your electric bill
