If I had another house, I'd partner with Shaw Energy (Melia and Jordan) for solar without hesitation!
Solar energy can be complex, but Melia and Jordan made the entire process incredibly straightforward, from initial design to flipping the switch on my inverter. They connected me with excellent vendors (Powur Energy for equipment/installation and NBT Bank for financing), allowing me to purchase high-efficiency panels with a fantastic loan rate.
Since my system went live in January '25, my electricity bills have been a consistent $22 for three cycles – a dream come true!
Plus, I got a new service panel, and I can't even see the panels from the ground.

Shaw Energy Consulting LLC was AWESOME!! Jordan promptly responded to our inquiry and set-up an in-person meeting to explain solar and answer any questions we had. He really wanted us to understand all about solar, not just sell us a system. Jordan also encouraged us to get other bids, which we had already done. After meeting with him, we knew he was the right person to help us with our solar project. The design, planning, permitting, HOA approval and installation went seamlessly. Jordan was there through every step and available by phone/text constantly. Within a couple of weeks of the install, we had out "Permission to Operate" and were reaping the benefits of our new system. Our last bill was about $34 (SCE connection fee only), down from $221 the previous December. Again, if you are looking at putting solar on your home, we would definitely recommend Shaw Energy Consulting LLC!

I reached out to Melia for guidance on my existing solar system because I was concerned it wasn’t producing enough and was considering adding more panels. Instead of trying to sell me something I didn’t need, she took the time to really analyze the situation and walked me through all my options.

We ultimately realized that tree trimming would be a smarter investment - which says a lot about her integrity and non-pushy approach.

During the January fires and power outages, I connected with her again to learn more about adding battery backup. Once again, she was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining what that process would look like.

We have had our solar panels for over a year now and been pretty happy. We shopped around and Charlie with Trismart was the 4th person/ solar company we spoke to. He provided the best price and did not come off like a salesman and made us feel comfortable answering our questions and explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand. We didn’t want to finance and saved up to purchase the solar panels. Total cost with rebates and incentives was lower than what we had budgeted. Our CPS bill has been pretty low since we’ve had solar and we’ve been pretty happy. We recommended Trismart to one of our neighbors and when we got home late one day, Charlie was at their place talking with them. He mentioned that since our neighbors decided to go with Trismart, we would be receiving a referral incentive. If we ever had move and needed to get solar again, we wouldn’t hesitate to contact Charlie.

Avoid this company, they have lied or deceived on every promise, monthly bill is $100 still paying for an electric bill, and monthly payment on panels will go up to 145, they are a dishonest company and their sales people will push and push on you to buy, giving all the sweet promises, make sure to double read everything and get their offers in writing. after install they ignore my emails and calls. avoid the vivint bundle the two companies do not talk and do not honor each others offers. trismart solar is a scam company praying on the public.

3/29/2024 update,
Still not answering or returning phone calls call my tech is ignoring my texts and calls. For those of you contemplating still a company to avoid there are a lot of others out there that will serve you a lot better. It's a shame that they prey upon the community like this, and our local heroes.
6/052024 update
Talked with customer service, the "discovered a discrepancy in the contract that was overlooked" and said they would only pay the contracted amount but none of the cost of the fees included by continuing to pay for another service that their company promised to pay off. That was a month ago and no money has been transferred and nothing has been done still still $1500+ in debit paying out what trismart said they would pay. Continues to be a dishonest company

9/27/24 update. Company called me to ask what would it take to make things right. Got an email later saying that they're only contractually obligated to give me a portion of the funds and refuse to do anything more. So they are not interested in making things right only doing what the original agreement was at signing of the contract but not the fees that I accumulated over the course of a year having them not paid until now, still attempting to get the rest, I get an email every now and then telling me to take this post down

TriSMART Solar is definitely who you want to go with when getting your solar panels installed. If you are interested in getting solar panels I highly recommend David Gonzales to help you through the process. He has been working with us since day one. David is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and just an easy person to work with when dealing with solar. Our panels were just recently installed and he is still always willing to answer any questions or concerns that I have about our panels. David really sold me on TriSMART and the idea of getting our panels installed through them. Definitely an easy investment and a great way to save money in the future.

Very pleased with the minimal length of time it took to install panels. The follow up has been amazing; calls to make sure all is well visits when something looks off on their end, and the less than ten dollar electric bill every month. WOW. Have really enjoyed working with Charlie and Aimee. Would highly recommend TriSMART Solar for your solar panel needs! Charlie will tell you all you need to know and answer any question you have.

James and Aimee have been wonderful throughout the entire process. James took the time to really break down HOW I would save money by having solar panels. He showed me the numbers and answered all of my questions - sometimes more than once. Very down to earth and honest and you can't say that about many sales people these days.
Aimee has been very easy to work with and very friendly. She took the time to follow up with me and make sure everything went okay on install day. Great Company with Excellent Employees who actually know what it means to have Customer Service! Highly recommend. Not only because of the people, but because they beat any other price out there for panels!

I have now had Solar installed by TriSmart for a year now. They met with my wife and I and we talked about system size. The size they recommended currently takes care of about 2/3 of my total power consumption over the year. The return on investment is good. I pay about $110/month on a 20-year loan (from their preferred lender) and I save at least $20/month. The solar panels produce about $150 worth of power per month, on average. Overall satisfied. If I had to do it again, I would get a bigger system. Overall, the sales team and the support team have been great, as well as their preferred lender, which to be honest can be hard to do. Not to mention these are some of the best-looking panels on my roof, especially compared to some of my neighbors.

I admit that when first approached by the young lady who was canvasing our neighborhood asking if we were interested in solar, I was tempted to send her on her way. I'm glad that I didn't. She explained to me how I could either give my money to the power company or give it to pay for solar panels and save on my monthly utility bills. We followed up with an appointment with Jacob Smith, the sales rep. He answered all of our questions and set things in motion. Within a few weeks we had panels on the roof. The installation went very smoothly and I was impressed with the team's expertise. Once the utility company signed off the panels went live. I immediately started tracking their performance in the app that communicates with each panel to see how much production I was getting here in the dead of winter. Several days the production exceeded the consumption. Most days production amounted to a third to two thirds of consumption depending on the weather. Even on cloudy days there was production, perhaps 10% of consumption. I can't wait for summer! That's when I'll see the best results.

If you're going to go solar, and you should, I highly recommend TriSmart. My experience with them has been nothing short of a joy.
