My solar panels and been not working for longer then a month. I call the customer service and it goes strait to voicemail. I left them several messages and seval emails. But they will not call me back. They reply to my email, but they haven't even tried to help with my issue. They were a good company until something goes wrong, then they blow you off. i will update this if they ever reply back to me. But as of now, I paid them thousands of dollars for non working solar panels.

Sales rep doesn’t respond. Installation started in August but I have been paying an energy bill in addition to the solar panels because my installation was never completed/finalized. Every time I call, I am told someone will be in contact only to never receive a call back. Worst experience ever. Will never buy solar panels again.

Update: I have yet to receive a call back. Phone number listed on website goes straight to voicemail.

We met with three different local solar companies and we decided with TriSmart. Jacob did an excellent job answering all our question without make us feel pressured to buy. Throughout the entire process not only did Aimee keep us informed, but also handled all the required permits.

We recommend using TriSmart Solar.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.!!!! By far the WORST company to EVER do business with. Originally I had a salesman from Vivint do a "bundle" deal, stating if I were to get a Vivint Security system, I would get a great deal with Tri-Smart solar as well. Long story short, the salesman also stated that we had until THE SOLAR PANELS WERE INSTALLED, in order to cancel the contract, and within one week of realizing that the solar panels would not be as beneficial as they stated we tried cancelling the contract. Immediately THEN, I was contacted by Tri-Smart stating I owed them over 3k for "blueprints" that they did, and work that they completed in 7 days. I asked for the work that had been done, since they were charging 3 THOUSAND dollars, and yet in return I was contacted by a debt collector by mail, phone number, etc. I ended up paying the fee so it would not hit my credit, all for them to never give me the work they supposedly did. Instead I spoke to RYAN DILL, a absolute horrid "customer service representative" that had no respect for the situation, was extremely rude, and overall was the cherry on top of this disastrous sundae. GO WITH ANY OTHER SOLAR PANEL COMPANY. It will be nightmare from beginning to end if you go with Tri Smart Solar

My experience with Trismart Solar over the last 12 months has been smooth, no issues with solar panels and app is user friendly. If there is a problem with panel the app will notify you which I love.

The entire process from Clint in sales going over the benefits of having solar to the installation process was very easy and zero hassle.

Now TriSmart customer service line has a long hold time, but they do call back when they’ve noticed a missed call from an active customer which I think is amazing. I would recommend anyone to use this company specifically Clint in sales because he is great, very knowledgeable, and makes the process easy with no pressure.

Great Solar Company to work with. Installation crew was quick and great support from the salesman. Highly recommended!! Cannot say enough good stuff about the company. Happy to speak to anyone considering using TriSMART Solar!

My house has TriSmart solar panels from the previous owner. This company is impossible to reach for service. I had to pay quite a lot of money so that I could use them and to have a warranty on them. I have about six different numbers for them and they cannot be reached on any of them. I leave messages and I send emails. They don’t show up when they’re supposed to. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in one company. I recently had to have my roof replaced and had to pay them around $14,000 to take them off my roof and put them back on. While they were up there, there was damage to the new roof. Now I am struggling with them to get them to pay my roofer to do the repairs. Each company has to do their own work for warranty purposes. So not only is there damage to my new roof, which means no warranty yet, but also the solar panels are not working properly. I have asked repeatedly to have a manager call me. Still nothing and it has been weeks.

My wife and I waited for quite some time before deciding on whether or not solar was right for us. Charlie came out and explained everything to the smallest detail. This made my wife extremely happy since she had what seemed like a million questions. Needless to say she was happy and the install went without a hitch. I have a very happy wife and we all know what that means!! LOL But seriously the professionalism from beginning to end was super! Definitely recommend Tri-Smart Solar to everyone!

When getting the panels installed it took over 3 months to pass inspection. Kept being told a tech came by and never did, so when the inspector would come by it would fail. Had to pay for the panels for a month before they were actually turned on. (Was never credited for this) anytime I call customer service it goes to voicemail or the rep says they will call me back and it never happens. Been a week since I reported my roof was leaking from where the panels were installed and still no concrete communication on when will get a tech out to assess the situation. Just a bunch of I’m sorry for this inconvenience with no change in the situation in sight. I hope this review helps people realize this company needs a serious reform when it comes to customer service and please look into other companies before you think this is a decent solar company.

My equipment hasn’t been working for months and now I’m stuck having to pay both. Every time I call I get pushed back 4-6 weeks out. They only have 2 technician to oversee the whole city. Doesn’t make sense. I just want my equipment to work like I was told it would. Worst customer service team.

The installation of the solar panel was great. Very careful and diligent to do a great work.
As an improvement point i would mention the final clean up of the surrounding. Found parts dropped on the grass that could have caught the lawn mower. The roof debris was also all over the patio.

The process to get permits & inspections with the city of San Antonio and CPS went just how our Representative Regan explained it would. From start to finish we have been well informed every step of the way.
We didn’t have a choice in how much we were being charged each month from cps for our homes power use. Now we are paying $60 less then our average monthly bill and it’s price locked in at a fixed price and we have a system designed to let us use as much power as needed without having to limit ourselves and our comfortability in such a hot summer season. I recommend TriSMART to any San Antonio Homeowner who pays CPS a power bill each month. You may as-well use the same budget you already have to pay each month towards a service that will save you money right out of the gate each month and give you a fixed monthly payment that will come back to you if you choose to ever sell your home in the future. The value of the home increases too! The Installation went extremely well and besides CPS & the City follow up inspection delays we still were able to get our system activated in our 60 day expected timeline. If you are on the fence and have thought about getting Solar put on your roof, I will say… based on almost 2 years of research. Your home with an ownership option and not a lease option, will sell quicker with this type of system & who wouldn’t want to buy a home with no CPS electric bill (still gas) and no Solar panel payment. Take advantage of this company and the warranty’s Trismart offers. No other company we have spoke with could even come close to the full installation package, warranties, & production guarantees that TriSmart provides.

I have a system that was installed by TriSmart Solar and the customer service after the sale is non-existent. I have called the phone number online and nobody answers the phone. I have sent emails and text messages with no response.
Customer service is how you keep customers happy and this company does not have customer service. I would not recommend this company.

I’ve had great success with them, but the day my system went offline, Enphase reached out to me and sent me a part that was needed to fix my system. I’ve been contacting TriSmart for going on 4-5 months waiting for them to come and install this simple piece. The fact it’s a small piece I can’t imagine it taking longer than a 30 min slot. Yet they give me excuses on why they can’t come. Very disappointing and frustrating. I had to experience all the summer without solar and usage of my batteries, which cost me hundreds of dollars a month because they are unreliable service. I rather use literally anyone else them. Horrible customer service and following up service.

I went Solar with TriSMART 6 months ago and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was extremely skeptical about this based on other companies coming by and quoting us so much to go Solar. TriSMART proved that they are the only company with the pricing and quality of equipment worth making the decision to get Solar Panels from. We had a main panel upgrade along with 6 solar edge batteries installed. This new program that TriSmart offers is the best solution and deal you could possibly get. I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket. No upfront costs for the Solar panels, back-up batteries, main panel upgrade, or installation fees. Everything was all part of the monthly payment package that believe it or not is less then our average monthly power bill payments were with CPS already. We received a 20 year Roof leak warranty, installation warranty, manufacture warranty, & 30 year power production guarantee. We looked TriSmart up and they really are Ranked the #1 residential solar installation company for the State of Texas and 7th for the entire Country. I recommend TriSMART and give them 5 stars from the beginning to now and I don’t believe that will ever change. They even came back out 2 separate times since I had my service turned on just to help me understand additional features I could set up on the energy monitoring app. Which these features are great for monitoring the panels production and batteries current charge rates.

If you’re thinking about getting panels, do not do it. It’s been a nightmare trying to get in touch with someone. We had our roof done recently and that was also terrible.. because we didn’t know that you had to go with a roofing company that TriSmart utilizes. We went with the one our home insurance selected. So we had to pay an additional 10k or so to have our panels removed and reinstalled. Which by the way it’s been a whole week and a half and they have yet to get in touch with me to reinstall our panels. I’ve emailed and call numerous times and have had no responses or call backs to schedule the reinstallment of the panels. However, they were very responsive via email when they were going back and forth providing our roofing company with the invoices for removal and reinstallment. Since then it’s been such a hassle and I totally regret our decision in getting solar.

TriSmart was the best as far as Price goes. I received quotes from 4 other company's that made solar feel unaffordable. Thank goodness I found these guys! I had a main panel upgrade, tree trimming, and battery backup installed with my System and they helped project manage everything. I paid zero upfront or out of pocket and was able to switch my electric bill payments towards powering my house with solar panels along with bundling these other projects into the same monthly payment. I Highly Recommend this Company! 5 Stars

After a really bad experience is seeking to get service from TriSMART Solar (four months of frustration) Nate their service person who was sent to repair my 10 solar panels that were not working has restored my confidence in TriSMART. He was very thorough in his repair and did it right the first time. Nate left the work area very clean. All my panel are now working as expected now. Thank you Nate. You earned the 5 stars for your company..
