The electricians themselves are great, the owner and secretary are unprofessional. The warranty is a joke and they will charge you a service fee and hourly rate even if the product/job is under warranty. We spent a lot of money with them on a reno and then they charged service fees to come fix their faulty work that was under warranty. The electrician who is their employee even had to go to bat for us and argue that we should not be paying anything. Part of the hourly charge we were charged for included the electrician going to the store to grab a part. We paid our fees and thanked the electrician, but we will never be using them again. The customer does not come first with this company.

SCAMMERS! AVOID THIS COMPANY. Was quoted $95 hourly rate on the phone, and described the job in detail, providing my address. Electrician arrived and didn't have the parts needed to complete the job. Said he would have to charge us 2 hours labor in order to go back and get the parts needed. Electrician asked my husband to leave work and go get the parts needed. I called the office to talk about the lack of preparedness and was told they would discount the hourly rate (which she jacked up to $125) back down to the $95 I was originally quoted. They were counting on us moving forward due to a time crunch, but fortunately, we had some wiggle room in the schedule and sent these scammers packing.

The lady and older guy who handle the scheduling are very straightforward, if not a little grumpy. However, the actual electrician who came out was nice enough and seemed to know what he was doing. He did a nice job installing some lights and cleaned up when he was done. I was charged $85 on top of the quote I got, which I was not thrilled about, but at least the job was done right. Overall it seems to be a decent company.

Awesome experience and will use them for all future projects. Technicians arrived on time. They discussed project with me and then proceeded to cover my hard wood floors to protect from damage. They installed two ceiling fans (one about 25 feet) and several light fixtures, including a fixture that was located about 25feet up. Because they had to use a very tall ladder they took care to move furniture, protect the floors and were careful not to damage the walls. Both young men (Cody and Robert) were very professional and polite. When they completed their work they cleaned up. The pricing for the work was very reasonable and I feel comfident that I will not experience any electrical or other issues.

Could not be happier with the service. Had a small electrical fire which disabled half of my house electrically. Called 15 to 20 electricians. No one could come out said they were all too busy. Father and son said they were booked but would try to get somebody out as soon as possible. Within 20 minutes they had called me with a free electrician who came out immediately. He assessed the problem fixed it and was gone in record time. I highly recommend Father and son electrical for any electrical needs. pricing was fair. I would have paid 223 times what they charged to get this service taken care of. Very happy with my service.

Father and Sons Electric are extremely proficient and honest. I was given a quote over the phone and once the job was done was charged exactly what was quoted. The electrician was early for the appointment, very polite and explained everything he was going to do. He did the job in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself when the job was complete. I have used Father and Sons Electric previously for lighting installation and they will continue to be my go to company if I am in need of an electrician.

I was just going to move on but since they have emailed me 3-4 times in the past month for an appointment on Jan 15 2018.. I guess I should share my brief experience. The positive is the technician showed up quickly.. They have a policy that they will charge you $200 the moment they commence looking at your project. And they even go as far to disclaim that there is a chance they will not be able to perform the task you need and that you will still have to pay the $200. This routine seems pretty rehearsed and probably has been required by some attorney.

My technician looked at the front door light fixture and sure enough said it needed to be replaced and there was nothing he could do.. but that he would be happy to come back out to charge me another $200 to install the fixture once I have purchased it.

The lesson here is if you have any light fixture that you think is faulty.. the best plan is to go to Lowe’s/Home Depot/etc. and purchase a replacement.. they usually come with the installation. If it turns out the project doesn’t require the new fixture, you just return it. But at least you will have a reliable electrician that comes with the Lowe’s/ Home Depot stamp of approval who will assess your needs and not Overcharge you for what amounts to a 2 minute decision that they couldn’t help you.

I don’t like writing bad reviews but perhaps this will teach the Father and Son to use more discretion which previous clients to hound for public feedback.

Scheduled for 12:00 to 2:00 appointment and stated the would text 45 minutes prior to arrival. At close to 2:00 I texted them to ask if they were on there way. They eventually texted back that they were running late and would text me prior to arrival. At 4:00 they texted and said they would have to reschedule.All communications via text had to be initiated by me! Don’t waste your time with these guys. I ended up scheduling with a different contractor.

Daniel responded to my text and showed up shortly after. He diagnosed the issue (that was missed by a previous electrician) within a few minutes, replaced a part, and brought power back to our lives!
He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He talked us through exactly what the problem was and how he would fix it. Couldn't be happier.

Wow! I called because of an outlet I fried and they were out within 2.5 hours. Jose and Edgar were super fast, polite, and they were courteous with keeping their shoes covered which is always something I really appreciate, especially in this gross weather! They were great. We will be looking to have new outlets added to our kitchen when we remodel, so I will certainly use them again!

The only feedback I have is, I got an alert they were 30 mins away. So I started heading back toward my house with about 10 minutes to spare before they’d arrive. It turned out, they’d already arrived but almost left because I couldn’t get them in! My husband was able to let them in thankfully and caught them as they almost got back to their van. This is nothing on the guys, in fact, being early is awesome and rare for service industry. More so, the problem seemed to be with their “tracking system.” It plotted them about 30 mins away the whole time so it just doesn’t seem to be working right. This won’t keep me from calling them again, their prices were very fair and the work was done well! :)

We have used Buckeye Electric for two recent repairs to lighting on our property and they have been very responsive and professional. Their willingness to listen and provide economical solutions to our needs has been refreshing. Online portal and preferred method of communication via text both worked well. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Buckeye Electric is great. I had an urgent situation on a weekend and the electrician was able to fix it immediately. They provide fantastic prompt service, great communication and top-notch expertise. Highly recommended.
