Flooring reviews across the US

When we walked into the building, I was kind of amazed as to how large the store was.And it was truly impressive.
My client decided to purchase the lvlp flooring, and a beautiful front entrance porcelain tile. Did I will be posting when the job is done. Absolutely gorgeous. -
I started shopping with Floor&Decor about a year ago. My first experience was amazing . I said good bye to Lowe’s and Home Depot. I’m a tile installer and the prices were way better . What got me is the customer service. With that being said my last trips for a few big jobs have been different. It seems the employees are going through something or something has changed . I found out today the person I have been doing business with is no longer there . I really wanted to know and I can say it seems they don’t care about the people anymore . Now it’s people who don’t care . It gets worse and worse and now I have lost confidence in the store to get my order right or help me when I step in. I’m going to take my business elsewhere. I really hope someone from the company looks at these but I really don’t think they will. Floor and Decor from a contractor prospective, do better for your employees and treat them like human beings. From what I hear the new store manager is awful to them and treats them like animals. I really don’t want to my business elsewhere but it’s to late .

Great options and friendly service. Made an appointment for an associate to help us and they were great! I know where to go for all of my tile work. Thank you Floor & Decor!!

Lots of flooring! Very large warehouse. Ceramic tile seems to be their niche. Not much in the way of vinyl tile and no sheet vinyl at all. They do have several LVP styles to choose from though. They also don't have any feathering cement for fine tuning subfloor.

Mila was hands-down the best part of our visit! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we needed. Couldn’t have asked for better service, 10/10!

We got our floating LVP flooring here, and we love it. From experience, the staff is more helpful than at the Tukwila location. I highly recommend them if you ever need a floating floor LVP and want great help from the staff.

We are remodeling our bathroom and didn’t even know where to start. Kristine Berrios assisted us. She was extremely helpful, she answered all our questions and explained things we weren’t even aware of to ask. She made us feel comfortable by being kind, patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Kristine is a valuable employee to your store.

Don't come here unless you are a expert in tile, as they will treat you like a nuisance if not.
Came here looking for help with a project with very generic tiles that I needed to match. Was shrugged off and essentially told to kick rocks. Not even pointed in the right direction. Very disappointing interactions with 2 different employees. -
Stellar example of great customer service! Kristine was a terrific listener and an enthusiastic problem solver! My experience made me wish that I was a $5000 sale instead of a $50 sale.. I’m so grateful that with one phone call and three text messages I was on track with a beautiful workable solution. Thank you, Kristine!

I started a full remodel of my home earlier this year that lasted up to the beginning of fall. I have made multiple trips here and not one time was I ever disappointed in the products or service I received. I purchased tiling materials for all three bathrooms in my home, including a laundry room; and I have been completely satisfied overall. The return for materials I didn't use was hassle-free, and every visit I made I was assisted in transporting tile and ledger stone to my vehicle. For our recent bathroom project we had a particular staff member by the name of Jay who assisted us and was simply great! He matched patterns for us that were fresh and modern. My wife loved went with his recommendations and loved it. He even knew exactly how much tile our bathroom needed including the enclosed niche. I had a lot of referrals for tiling and flooring companies, but in the end, Floor and Decor stood out among them all. I would be visiting them again for my deck and patio projects, and I highly recommend them for anyone that's doing the same!

I have been a customer for many years and products. The products, prices, and in-store assistance is very good. However, on-phone support is very poor. The store does not answer the phone. Questions often occur during projects or some need to be answered right away. When the store does not answer the phone poorly reflects on customer service.

Looking at the reviews it appears Kristine Berrios is the star of this store. I am the owner of a construction and remodeling company and I can agree with all of Kristine positive feedback. Today I stopped by for the first time (been in the area before this store even open, back then it was a gym and then something before 2008) and for my first experience with Kristine she was great. Good prices too as this is important to keep project expenses down lol Thanks Kristine!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor or company. I would strongly urge you to stay away from this company at all costs. Rus (Ruslan Porotikov) installed 200 sq ft of luxury plank vinyl at my home. Here is my experience:
Pros:
1. The finished product looked decent.
Cons:
1. I reached out to him after seeing his ad online. Instead of coming to my home for a quote, he simply asked me for photos of the area that needed to be done. I sent the photos and I also informed him that the area was roughly 250 sq ft. From that information he was able to provide a quote. When he showed up to start the job, he reassessed the area and told me “this rarely happens but I have to charge you more than I originally quoted you because the job requires more detailed cuts than I originally thought”. He was referring to the transition areas, closets, toilet, and bathroom sink which he had to work around. All these features were clearly shown in the photos that I sent him. Additionally, he had acknowledged the toilet during his original quote because he instructed me to buy a specific part that was needed to reinstall the toilet after the flooring in that area complete. Furthermore, when he measured the area himself, he informed me that it was about 200 sq ft instead of 250; just to be clear it was 50 sq ft less than what I originally told him. Even still he insisted that he had to charge me an extra $400 to complete the job. I needed to get this completed before the holidays, so I bit the bullet and agreed to pay the additional money. Nonetheless this shows his lack of professionalism and customer service.
2. He showed up at a different time each day. Usually some time between 10am-12pm. He originally told me that the job would take 2-3 days. It ended up taking 5 days. He took 1 day off in between that so the work was completed over a span of 6 days. His workday ranged from 4-6 hours depending on the day, which contributed to the timeframe being extended. He probably could have finished in the original 2-3 days if he showed up earlier and worked a consistent daily schedule. My family had to work around him for a whole week. I have a wife and small children; his inconsistency inconvenienced us all. Again, a lack of professionalism and common courtesy on his part.
I will continue on another review, character limit exceeded. -
I used United Flooring to install ceramic tile flooring in my sunroom, as well as to replace existing tile in the bathroom with new ceramic tile. Rus was extremely helpful, friendly, affordable, and did a great job overall. He was punctual and got the jobs done in a timely manner. Other companies quoted me MUCH more and said they wouldn't be able to get my work scheduled for a few months. Rus answered promptly and came by the following week to get started. He did not mess anything up, was polite, and flexible with scheduling. He even helped me out and was understanding when there was an unexpected plumbing issue after he removed the toilet. I would highly recommend Rus for any tile needs, so much so that I will be using him again to do my kitchen backsplash. Thanks again, Rus, you gave our house a much needed makeover!

Chris,Eduardo and his brother of Carpet One did an excellent job of replacing and finishing our hardwood floors in our dining room after we had a slab leak. They were all very professional and thorough in their work. I highly recommend Carpet One for the great work they do.

We used this company to replace our floors when we had a pipe burst under our house that ruined our hardwood floors. They were fast and courteous, they coordinated with our insurance company and made everything as easy as possible. The flooring selections were excellent and the flooring that we chose is wonderful. We have several dogs and we’re able to find a flooring that helped keep the pet damage to a minimum while still looking stylish and elegant. Chris and his team were excellent! Would highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

Outstanding work, love the results! Chris, Justin, Terry, Pablo, Rosa and all the trades were exceptional to work with. Great customer service and follow up by everyone involved. Remodeled master bath and replaced all flooring. Couldn’t be happier with the results.
Highly recommend Carpet One in Southlake for all your home improvement needs. -
We had an amazing experience with Carpet One! From start to finish, everything was handled so professionally. Justin was incredible - super attentive, always available when we had questions, and on top of every detail. His team’s expertise made our kitchen renovation not only smooth, but actually exciting! We couldn’t be happier with the final result and are loving our new space.
