I got quotes from several places and Rite Rug was one of the most helpful about explaining prices and materials. The sales rep helped me try to match the current carpet in the hallway (I replaced carpet in some bedrooms) and we found a pretty good match! The install was easy to schedule and they worked with me when I had to delay the install due to a plumbing issue. The installers were very nice, checked with me several times to get my preferences, and worked very efficiently. I’m honestly surprised at how fast they got the job done. Great experience all around!

I have worked with a lot of flooring vendors in my years doing remodel and restoration work, but Warren is by far the best that I have ever worked with. He cares for his customers, Warren goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy with the services they are getting. Joshua, our sales representative, was awesome. He helped us choose the best carpet and lvp for our house in preparation for moving. His recommendations were spot on. The installation team did a fantastic job and were extremely careful to not scratch the newly painted walls.

We are finishing our basement and wanted to use luxury vinyl plank as our flooring. We searched five our six flooring stores throughout Lexington to find just the right color that had the properties we needed. When we visited Rite Rug, Warren Havens greeted us and made us feel at home right away. After listening to what we wanted and our project details, he introduced a top rated flooring company and product that fit our needs and at a price (including installation) unmatched by any other place we visited. Warren arrived with a day or two for measurements, scheduled delivery and installation dates and followed up to ensure the entire process went smoothly. The installation crew did a superb job and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. We are wxtremely happy with the entire process, thanks to Warren! I highly recommend Rite Rug, and ask for Warren as your sales rep!

Wow, just left there. I have not been there in a while. The guy that was often there then was very helpful. Today, I was assisted by a woman who, maybe was uptight because I interrupted her time chatting in the back. I came in trying to troubleshoot a problem I have, and this was not my first stop. This woman already volunteered to me that me that they were not going to help me with pouring leveler - something that I did not ask help for. As for the task I am considering help for, she was so eager to tell me that they will not help me for this problem, she was already turning red and pretty much kept her hands together behind her back. So after being told again that they will not help me, I commented, "ok, but you don't have to be so aggressive." She told me that it's " because you were not listening." We were having a conversation and I was discussing this situation to her and responding to her. Perhaps there were things that I could not completely understand (or vice versa), but I was 100% calm, hearing, and responding to this woman and she tells me that I was not listening? Uh, were my fingers in my ears or something? Is this a family thing and someone just found a place for her or something? It might not be the right place.

Affordable, Carpet quality is awesome, and they were very quick about removal and installation!

Our interactions with Eric and the crews for RiteRug were excellent. We've needed new flooring for a long time but put it off because it seemed so daunting. They made the whole process so much smoother than we could have dreamed. Their prices and products were great, and the quality of the work even better. Eric was very attentive to us and always responded quickly and with plenty of help! Thank you!

UPDATE #5:
Finally after more than 2 years and contact with the corporate office we have some satisfaction. I say some because although KP at the corporate office has been a great representative of the company and is standing behind the product. The local store is not as cooperating. It has been since 2022. (Because contact with J, the local salesman was not successful, written request documented) So, KP started the replacement process in March 2024. At that time she sent current floor installation supervisor R out to inspect and she ordered the floor replacement. At some point there was not enough floor ordered or it was mistakenly seen as additional inventory at the local store and used. Either way, KP was on it and ordered the additional amount needed, but that was another 2 weeks or so of delay, after and additional 2 weeks or so to get it in to the local store the first time. (So now another month has gone by.)
Scheduling issues on both our part and theirs meant a delay in installation again.(Understandable due to not enough flooring)
We ask for PODs to store furniture in, as we knew it was to much to move for fast installation on install day. KP was very cooperative in checking to see about scheduling those. However, local salesman J. said would not be needed. Fast forward to July 2024 (floor was laid in Nov 2021) and again a delay. Why?, because PODs are needed to store furniture in. (Not KP fault, as she looked into getting prior). Upon that point, they also do not have enough leveling materials in warehouse in local store, another 1 week delay for KP to order because local store doesn't keep sufficient supply on hand.
I suggested they bring some from one of their 12 Ohio stores (1.5 hours away) to complete the job within the next two days. They have virtually all plumbing unhooked and also plumbing company (Rotor Rootor) made some water damage they have yet to come and check with a moisture meter for possible need of repairs.

at corporate office and R., the current floor installation supervisor at local store for making sure replacement is being done correctly and their attention to customer service. (Not so happy with other aspects of the local store.)

Hopefully leveler will arrive from an Ohio store and work can begin today or tomorrow.

Will update when project completed to satisfaction.

Update #4:
2 year later and planks are not holding up. Poor installation or poor product, unsure. Have tried to contact the local store to get someone to come out and look at the floor. Floor has 10 year warranty. But, no luck, no return calls or text.

Update #3: Text the sales rep again on June 5th 2023 to let him know some planks were pulling loose again. It is July 5th and still no response. Simple fix, I believe - just need to have tape and rubber mallet to move it back into place. Reducing rating to 2 stars due to month without a response.

Update #2: A crew did come out and repair and replace the major flooring issues. Alot of dust. Had to clean entire main floor from dust.

Update: Someone did come out and said some areas would need replaced. Waiting on the materials to come in now for replacement install to be scheduled..

Started out fine. Picked the flooring and color we needed. They came and put that all down. They started laying it along the short wall which makes the rooms look smaller. Contractor had them turn it around and lay along the long wall. However, 2 months after the vlp seems to be bulging in some seams and has some chips at seams. My opinion is they used some of the flooring they laid the wrong way to install the correct way. Those didn't connect good and some got chipped. Therefore, the mess we have now. I contacted both the contractor and the salesman. I get no response from rite rug. It has been almost 2 weeks now. Josh has not bothered to return text.

We stopped by Lexington store on a Saturday afternoon. He was extremely helpful picking out a perfect carpet for our needs among the hundreds of options. This Carpet is of good quality & is of Excellent value!. Installers did great job& showed up right on time. (Just be sure to note what furniture needs to be moved when ordering, & have a plan for where put it)

We contracted with Rite Rug to replace some hard flooring and some carpeting in our house. Working with Warren, we had no issues during the sales and consultation process.

When the work was ready to begin, it was started on schedule and executed in a day.

Upon inspection after the job was finished, we identified a couple of planks which had some minor damage. Warren immediately submitted a warranty claim and the planks were replaced the next business day.

Top notch service and the installation looked great. Will definitely return for future flooring needs.

1st Attempt - Crew showed up with carpet and laid it down in my muddy yard to cut it to size. They cut the carpet short and tried to mask by placing remnants underneath. Wasn't tucked in closets due to being short. There were dark spots on the carpet and walls after they left. Turned out one of the installers cut his hand and bled all over the rooms. Was a brand new crew according to rite rug. They agreed to tear up and fix. Also noticed the pad was a cheaper pad than we agreed on. Manager stated it was a new crew and this was their 3rd install. God bless the homes of the 1st 2 installs. Dark spot in photo is blood and was also present on the carpet in multiple places. No masks or offer to wear. No protection over shoes.

2nd attempt - (2 weeks later) - one room was completed but carpet in the second room had massive black streak on it. Install pushed back another month.

It's pulling teeth to get updates from the store. Our CS rep stated "we just had back luck".

3rd attempt - finished up install and left trash and materials in our yard. No follow up to see how install went. Followed up 1 month later to remind us of payment. My experience is customer service is top down terrible.

We received a 200 discount. I would avoid this company at all costs but make your own decision. I am sure we "just had bad luck". We still have the store sample boards and have heard from no one about returning.

E-mailed corporate customer service 2 weeks ago. No response. Sadly our experience was much better a few years ago with the big box hardware stores.

We are in love with our floors! Eric was incredibly helpful in teaching us about our options and helping us pick something perfect for us. Install was quick and efficient and turned out beautiful!

We had carpet replaced in our upstairs - Rite Rug did the tear up, removal/disposal of old carpet and new carpet installation. They were great to work with on the front end, Eric met me on site to show samples and provide an accurate quote. They were able to come on the day we needed and communicated with us that day and showed up on time. The carpet installation looks fantastic. There were lots of nooks and corners they had to work with and they did a fantastic job! Would definitely recommend. Also the most affordable option I could find!

Eric was patient with my many changes of flooring; reworking quotes; and moving installation dates several times due to other construction delays. Excellent communication: was available by text all hours and so helpful. Installation was top notch. Very well done. Pricing very reasonable. I went with Cortec Carthage Oak Herringbone. So very pleased. Beautiful natural brown tone. Doesn’t look yellow or gray. Will include pics but still under construction.
