Flooring reviews across the US

We initially contacted Diego to install hard wood floors. But when Diego came to give us an estimate, he listened to what we wanted, looked at our house, and found hard wood floors under layers of carpet and tiles, which was what we were hoping for all along. Diego really knew his work, and saved us time and money by restoring our 1920's-era hardwood floors. His team were professional, responsible, and careful. He was able to help us bring out the charm and character of our house. Thank you, Diego and Nova Flooring!

The first thing that sold me was the responsiveness Diego provided. Very patient and transparent as to what could be done. He didn't try to up sell.

Once we decided to contract him within a week he started the work and finished it in just 3 days. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality and workmanship. Floors look amazing!! Would recommend this team . AND of course, the great price was the big plus.

Thanks Nova flooring....

Diego and his team did a fabulous job replacing existing floors and laying down all new hardwood floors in our new townhouse! He gave us quotes for different types of jobs: replace with natural hardwood, replace with engineered hardwood and refinish existing wood. He laid out the pros and cons of doing each and the difference in cost! We hired him and he proved to be knowledgeable, reliable and reasonably priced! The floors look great and we’re glad we called Nova! I would recommend him to others and I would use him again in the future! Thanks a million!

I recently bought a home in Mohegan Lake NY that was in desperate need of flooring repair and refinishing. Diego was very informative and helpful with exactly how we had to tackle my project. His crew was professional, quick and neat. They went above and beyond to transform my homes floors, their pricing was fair and worth every penny. I highly recommend his services.

Nova Flooring and Diego are the best! Diego responded to all my messages so quickly, did a great job with my floors, and works at such a quick pace. He will come over right away to give an estimate and gets the job done in no time. I’ve already recommended this company to many of my family members and recommend him to you, too!

Diego and team installed vinyl flooring in our basement and kitchen - the team was fast and efficient and got the work done on time at the cost quoted. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

We installed white oak flooring in two bedrooms and the end result was high quality, neat, and most importantly, made my wife happy. Diego was transparent and checked in with us frequently if there was any issue. He gave us options, explained them clearly, and advised on the pros/cons of each. Diego was diligent and always working, completing the job ahead of schedule. Honestly, there’s nothing else I could ask for — this was a job well done! I would highly recommend Nova for flooring work.

Diego and his team did a great job installing our engineered hardwood floors. They were responsive and very quick to complete the work. We are so pleased with our new floors and will happily use Nova Flooring again for any flooring needs!

A family member recommended Nova Flooring after two other contractors passed on refinishing my 50 year old parquet wood floors. Diego came over for an estimate and quickly proved his knowledge when explaining our options. Maria provided all the extra paperwork required by my Co-op board and patiently answered all of my questions.
Refinishing took 3 days as promised, repaired squares match seamlessly with existing and Diego’s recommendation on stain color really did bring out the beauty of the wood grain. I could not be happier with the refinishing and highly recommend Diego and his crew for your flooring needs. Thank you Nova Flooring!

Nova Flooring should be your only choice for wood flooring. The owner, Diego and his staff never disappointed me. From beginning to end. They were on time and kept me informed on the time it would take to complete the job. I had 2 white oak floors installed and chose a walnut stain. These floors added new life to my home. Diego was referred to me by 2 family members that were more than pleased with his work. If you want a professional job done by an owner that takes pride in every step of his work, Nova should be your choice!

I don't usually give reviews, but I was so impressed with there work that I felt that I had to write this review! Diego and his crew were so professional. His price is fair and his work is exceptional! This company is a real find!!! His company arrives on time and calls when they are stuck in traffic. Our floors look great and his crew moved our furniture. I have recommended him to our neighbors...something we normally don't do. I wish all companies were as good as this one

Nova Flooring, Inc. is excellent and they totally exceeded my expectations! My floors were old and gross and Diego came to look at them the same day that I called him and was able to schedule me right away. He and his crew sanded, stained and varnished my whole apt and if looks amazing! In addition to doing stellar gold standard work, he and his wife Maria were also super responsive to my questions and Maria went above and beyond to get my Co-op managing agent the paperwork they needed to start the job. I can’t imagine a better experience! I would highly recommend Nova Flooring, Inc to anyone who needs flooring done! Thank you so much, Nova for going above and beyond!
Sincerely, Nancy

I was extremely impressed by nova flooring. I had just purchased a house in the area and the floors had awful dark pet stains. Another company insisted the stains would not come out and I would have to replace the flooring but Diego was able to create a custom color that not only met my needs but covered up the dark spots and the floors came out amazing! I would highly recommend this company to anyone !!

Working with Diego and Maria was an absolute pleasure! My husband and I used them to restain the floors of our first home. They were very responsive and flexible, working with us on tight timeline between close and move in date (our floors were done in 3 days!). Diego was also extremely patient with me, putting down several samples and helping me make the right decision. Our floors look amazing and we would absolutely recommend hiring Nova flooring.

Diego did an amazing job refurbishing my floors. He also refurbished two pieces of wood furniture. This included sanding and putting on a new stain. I recommend him highly.

Diago and his team did an excellent job. During the initial consult, Diago provided me with all of my options and his expert opinion. The estimate he provided was very reasonable compare to the other estimates I received. Once we agreed on a cost he provided his availability to start the job and his team arrived first thing that day. Everyone was very hard working and respectful (I work from him and they took that into account). They were very careful when moving my furniture and did an immaculate job of taping off the other areas of my house to prevent the dust from entering. The finished product is excellent and would highly recommend them!

Used Nova Flooring for my home. Diego, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job on my floors. Will highly recommended.

Diego and his team did a beautiful job refinishing all of the floors in my new house. He helped me choose the color which was perfect. He is conscientious, honest and hard working. He is a real craftsman with his work. I highly recommend Diego and Nova Flooring.

I had gotten quotes from other companies but decided to go with Nova Flooring and I’m so glad that I did! Maria and Diego went above and beyond in terms of customer service and the quality of work delivered. They were always on precisely time and we’re friendly and explained the process the whole way through. Highly recommended!!!

Diego and his team did a wonderful refinishing job on my wood floors. He also did excellent work on my stairs which he refinished and painted to give my home a great new look after a lousy job from another contractor. His team was meticulous and cleaned up so well you wouldn't know anyone was there. I highly recommend Diego and the team at Nova Flooring.

Diego was recommended by a contractor I know. His work was perfect!!!! I could not be happier with the results. He was on time, super courteous but most of all, my floors look new. Bernadette
