I called A-Lumination knowing that my house (built in the 50s) was in need of some electrical repairs, specifically two breaker panels that were outdated. Joann requested photos and less than an hour after receiving them, I got a call from the owner Steve, who explained that the best next step was for a tech to come in person to do an assessment. Ty came out the next morning and provided three different quotes based on level of importance for everything we needed done. He was extremely understanding of my budget and patient explaining which items were priority and which could be taken care of at a later date. We scheduled him to do the work the next day. Again, he was patient with any questions I had along the way, he worked efficiently, and he was respectful of me and my home as the power was out most of the day. I was 100% satisfied with the work that was done and could not be more pleased with the level of customer service I received from Steve and his entire staff. I will without a doubt, continue to work with A-Lumination and highly recommend the company to anyone needing electrical work done in their home.

A-Lumination electric sent an electrician to my house to hook up a engine lathe. He worked on the machine on 2 different days and was unable to make it run. The machine ran fine when I purchased it. He charged me $465.00. That is a unacceptable . I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!

Rafael is such a gem. Great attitude, professional, explains everything perfectly, immense problem solving skills and works well with your needs.

I have a 1981 home that the former owner did a lot of personal work on and Rafael was so patient avout figuring it all out. It was easy to decide that he would be my electrician moving forward and that A-Lumination would be my go to.

Im only giving them a 1 star rating because they over charge!! I was charged $576, their flat fee for permitting, the permit costs $75. Its really unfortunate because the worker who came to my house was lovely. They look for things to fix that are unnecessary then over charge, try to go through FPL or your local city before hiring.

Raphael came out and did a great job from start to finish. He gave me a good competitive quote and the work he did was well done. It took a bit longer than we were anticipating but it got done and done right. Thanks!

I had these guys install a 240v outlet in my garage. They came the same day I called. The 2 gentleman were polite and very knowledgeable. I knew beforehand that there would be some complicated issues with my request as my breaker box was completely full however they were able to address this and finished with a perfect solution. At the time they did the install I was unable to confirm the type of electrical outlet that was needed however they agreed that if what they installed was wrong they would come back and swap it for the correct one. As it happened it was the wrong outlet and true to their word the guys came back and made it all perfect.
It's great to see a company truely recognizing quality customer service and going well beyond it.
I would absolutely recommend this company for any of your electrical requirements.

I have dealt with a lot of companies since moving to Orlando, and had great service even this company, the tech came out did the job and cleaned everything up. Alex was very professional and polite, I will use them again for any future electrical issues. I give them 5 stars. 🙂

Highly recommend. Joanne was able to schedule a same day appointment to give me a quote for some work. Jonathan, however, seemed to be more thorough in establishing the specifications of what I needed done- and the extra time he spent gave me more confidence than two other quotes I had received. Work was scheduled immediately after the proposal was completed and half payment made by credit card. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Jonathan was also the lead electrician who showed up to do the work. He and Anderson were efficient, professional, and they explained what they were doing as each step progressed. When the inevitable surprise popped up (isn't there always something unexpected on every job), they were able to problem solve effectively to stay on schedule and also helped provide some recommendations for other non-electric repairs that I had in mind. Overall, a very good experience!

I spoke with the delightful owner, she gave me a date for the service.
The technician was on time and finished the install of my surge suppressor in about 20 minutes. Then he explained how it works. The price was about what I expected. Very good service, will call this vendor again if I need an electrician.

This Company (A-Lumination Electric) stated they knew how to install electric car charging stations. However, when they came to do ours, electrician was not knowledgeable about our Mercedes unit. He still attempted to install but it was done incomplete. I had to get another professional to assist with the completion. I contacted A-Lumination for some type of fair partial refund but was addressed with an extremely harsh tone. I originally chose the company since it was family owned and operated (I like helping small businesses) However I got my money taken for full services not rendered. Additionally the electrician drilled 3 holes thru my inside wall, although he did come back 3 days later to repair, it was not done professionally.
My wall still has a hole showing thru and now has a discolored spackle job attached that does not match our paint. The customer service is rude when I only tried to conversate in as friendly a manner as possible especially since I was the one who endured the wrong. I was stuck without a remedy from this company. I tried several times to remedy my unsatisfaction with the company but to no avail. As a result, I am writing this comment to perhaps help others avoid the same pitfall.
Just know you are taking your chances.

We had a great experience with A-Lumination Electric. We needed a transfer switch installed on our main exterior breaker box, so that we can run a generator when we lose power. We have an older main panel, that wouldn’t accommodate a transfer switch, and several other electricians told us we would need a new main breaker box installed, which is very expensive. Jonathan came up with a fantastic solution! He had a custom transfer switch created. He installed a new sub panel so that the main panel had room for the transfer switch. He installed an exterior connect box to hook our generator up to. He saved us a lot of money and was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Jonathan and A-Lumination Electric!
