Constraction reviews in Apollo Beach, Florida

I was looking after a friend’s home in Tampa and needed urgent help when a leak appeared. I called R4 Roofing and they came out the same day. From start to finish they were straight‑shooters – no upselling, no hidden costs. They walked me through what was going on, gave me options with pricing, and answered every question I had. Once we gave the go‑ahead they handled everything, including dealing with the insurance company, and had the repairs done quickly despite a rainy week. The crew was punctual, kept the property clean, and took care of the little details that most contractors overlook. They even followed up after a heavy storm to make sure everything was holding up. For anyone needing a repair or a full roof replacement in the Tampa area, these guys are the real deal.

We just finished our roofing repair with R4 roofing. Prompt work and communication by them. Freddy and his team members finished our roof repair quickly ( even with rain delays) and David and Dale were quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns.
Keeping one star as the work was just done and I’ll know how it holds up in a few weeks with good rain. They offer warranty on their work so I’m hopeful it will hold up well. I had been looking for a good reliable roofing company to replace my roof in a few years, based on the interaction with them so far I’d say I’ll be glad to have them replace my roof when it’s time.

I can't speak highly enough about the exceptional, white-glove caliber service I received from R4 Roofing Company. When I discovered a leak in my roof, they showed up within just a few hours—fast, professional, and ready to get to work.

From start to finish, their attention to detail was clear. They kept me updated throughout the repair process so I was never left wondering what was happening. Even more impressive, they left the area spotless—truly like they were never there.

Their pricing was more than fair, especially considering the quality of service and peace of mind they delivered. If you're looking for a roofing company that combines expertise, responsiveness, and integrity, R4 Roofing is the one to call. Highly recommended!!!

Did renovations on my condo replacing windows with triple sliding doors, installed new window,
& lanai flooring. Honest, nice people & great job. Definitely recommend Matt Syrus.

Matt Syrus the owner is not only dependable but a local resident and involved within the community. He is known for his integrity within the business market place. Highly recommend his company and all the services offered.

We have been on a roller coaster with this contractor. It ended with us both getting lawyers in order to have him fix the issues with the renovation to our kitchen. I would not recommend this contractor to my worst enemy. He claims (says) his core values are his bread and butter, but his actions have proven otherwise. Actions speak louder than words. Use his services at your own peril.

Very professional job installing two bathroom floors; new toilets, with a wonderful attitude. The flooring pattern was not one that was easy either, but we were thrilled with the finished results. Cleaned up after themselves. Left a smile in our faces. A++.

When I bought my condo I knew it would need a complete remodel. My real estate agent suggested using Matt and Syrus Construction Group. The workers and subcontractors were all great to work with, very qualified, professional and respectful. Katie, the office manager, is the glue that holds the whole process together. I am very happy I went with Syrus and would recommend them for all your construction needs, large or small.

I couldn't recommend Syrus Construction. Any issues that arise, Matt pointed the finger at the customer. He failed to keep us informed on any aspect of the project until the last minute, expecting us to flex to his schedule. He refused to address substandard work and claimed that nobody is perfect... expectation management.

Had Matt and his team come out and remodel our kitchen. They did a GREAT job and we are very happy with the outcome. We highly recommend them for any remodel job you have.

Another quality job by Syrus Construction! We bought a house and needed it painted with a quick turnaround and Syrus Construction made that happen! They were on time, got the job done quickly, and it looks great! We will definitely use them again as we plan future home projects and renovation.

If you’re looking for a construction company in southern Hillsborough County, Florida that has high standards, great work ethic, attention to detail, and great designs, go with Syrus Construction Group. They are easy to work with and reliable. Matt and the professional crew will work with you and in the end, you’ll have a great product that you will love.

We had Syrus Construction replace our countertops, cut down our 2 level peninsula, install cabinet pulls and install a backsplash. Matt and his crew were amazing to work with. The whole process took a week and everything was flawless. I plan to calm Syrus for any future projects.

Can’t say enough good things about Syrus Construction Group! They repaired cracks and painted the exterior of my home. Matt took the time to explain the whole process to me and answer all of my questions. His team was efficient and professional. They did an amazing job! I would highly recommend this company!

We hired Syrus Construction Group to update and remodel our main bathroom, dressing area and walk in closet. Matt Syrus was extremely good at understanding our wishes and then perform the work to accomplish the goals. He did what he said he would do, was punctual and communicated well. We would use him again.

I recently used Syrus Construction for a kitchen remodel. From the very beginning I was pleased with the consistent customer service provided to me by the Office Manager, and was equally impressed by the initial meeting with the Owner, Matt. They communicated every step of the project to me and were always there to answer any questions along the way. I am very satisfied overall with the quality of materials used in my home and would definitely recommend Syrus Construction to anyone looking for top-notch remodeling. There are few honest people in this world and I’m glad to know I found one of the rare companies that stands behind their work and truly treats their clients like family!

I had my entire 2nd floor remolded by Syrus Construction consisting of 2200ft which includes 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms and a sitting area. They also rebuilt my patio grill area and fire pit as well as remodeling the pool. The work was done thru COVID therefore it took longer to get materials and supplies for the job which was an inconvenience but we understood. Syrus has access to Subcontractors with a proven track record that resulted in high quality work. Matt (owner) was on the job site routinely and when decisions needed to be made. He made recommendations for change as needed on an ongoing basis. Matt has extensive knowledge in the construction and remodeling business and was easy to work with. I would highly recommend Syrus Construction for any remodeling project of any size.

I had Matt turn my carport into a garage and also paint my house. Everything was done quickly and professionally. A few weeks after, the garage door was making a horrible squeak when opening and closing. One phone all and someone was there to fix it. It's been two years now and everything is working like it should and still looks like the day it was finished. I highly recommend Syrus Construction Group for all your home improvement needs.

Syrus Construction was recommended to us to help with a balcony that was leaking into our downstairs. We had a hard time finding a contractor who was willing to deal with a such small job, even though we considered it a big issue. Matt and Katie were both great to work with. After the first solution failed to work, Matt continued working on the issue until it was solved. He even came out and did a water test himself to make sure the leak was fixed. Will be working with them again on future projects.

Matt and his team did an amazing job on our house. They were creative in resolving problems and quickly finished our remodel. The trades who came to our home were professional and didn’t delay finishing the work in a very reasonable timeframe. They worked within our budget to accommodate everything we wanted to refresh. I would recommend them highly if you have a project, whether large or small.

Matt and his team were amazing ! Their work helped us sell our house fast and with great value. They are punctual, reasonably priced, and Matt is meticulous when it comes to quality check and making sure the project is as promised. I definitely recommend them.
