Constraction reviews in Apollo Beach, Florida

We used Syrus construction for new flooring (carpet to tile) in 3 of our bedrooms. Matt and team did a great job and were able to get the job done right on time!

We truly cannot put in words how pleased we are with Matt and his team ...When we decided to remodel our house our biggest fear was end up with a General Contractor who would turn our dream into a nightmare. We knew that going through a remodeling while living in the house, with small kids and a dog, wasn’t going to be easy but Matt understood and made the process very smooth for us. He created an organized schedule and kept us updated of every step throughout the entire process. He was responsive, he accommodated my last minute requests and he delivered exactly what we were hoping for and beyond. I can’t wait to our next project... Highly recommend!!!

After a year of interviewing contractors, we decided on Syrus and his team! You could say, we kissed a lot of toads to find our contractor! Matt Syrus and his team are extremely trustworthy and dependable. They were thorough, timely and direct throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be happier with the results. When picking a contractor, our primary focus was experience and honesty. They are the complete package and we’d recommend them to anyone and are planning to use them again in the very near future.

Matt and Katie are terrific to work with. After going through several no-shows and no follow up estimates with many other companies, Matt came out got our bathroom and outdoor kitchen remodel done in a quick turnaround time. The workmanship was top notch and reasonably priced, far exceeding our expectations! Highly recommend for anyone looking. Great company and great people!!

Syrus Construction has done an amazing job in the Southshore area for a long time. Matt has never done work for me personally, but I have seen him build his reputation in the community for a long time and I can attest to his attention to detail, honesty, and professional work. Matt has built his business with hard work. I 10/10 recommend this company and these professionals to start and finish any project you need in your home.

Syrus Construction Group did a fantastic job. We had our kitchen and bathroom cabinets painted. Matt was meticulous in the set-up and painting of our cabinets. They came out beautiful! We will definitely use Syrus Construction again in the near future!

Matt and his amazing team rescued us after the floods from Hurricane Hellen and the wind damager from Hurricane Milton. They bent over backwards to handle ever details and request and didn't bat an eye at our ever changing minds and several change order requests. They even inspected the work of all of their trades and called out imperfections we didn't even notice. Top quality work from a top quality crew! Thank you for helping us rebuild and remodel our amazing home!

Syrus construction did an amazing job with removing the tile and carpet in my house and replacing it with vinyl flooring. They communicated clearly, gave a very detailed estimate and it turned out beautiful! The best part was that I trusted Matt so much that we had him complete the project when we were out of town so we didn’t have to be in their way. We came home to beautiful floors with new base boards and very minimal dust from the project. I highly recommend them!

Syrus Construction

After the devastating flood that damaged our home, we were left heartbroken, overwhelmed, and unsure how to move forward. What was once a place of comfort, love, and family had been reduced to chaos. Then Syrus Construction stepped in and everything began to change.

They didn’t just repair our home. They helped restore our peace of mind.

As a family with seven children, our needs are unique and sometimes a bit hectic but the Syrus Construction team met us with compassion, patience, and understanding every step of the way. They took the time to communicate clearly, worked around our family’s schedule, and made sure our children felt safe and reassured during the entire process.

Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and genuine care turned one of the most painful chapters of our lives into a new beginning and for that, we are forever grateful. Now, as we walk through each beautifully restored room, we’re reminded not of the heartbreak, but of the hope, strength, and kindness that made this possible.

We truly cannot thank Syrus Construction enough. What they gave us was more than a rebuilt housethey gave us back our home.

I can't say enough about the fantastic remodel done on our home by Syrus Construction. Matt is easy to work with, and I'm thrilled with the results. All his subcontractors are professional, respectful, and responsible. Katie, who handles scheduling and paperwork is fantastic. She was also great for running design ideas with. I highly recommend Syrus Construction for you home remodel needs big or small.

Mary & Martha House, local non-profit providing shelter and support services to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence, hired Syrus to update and reconstruct one of our shelters after it was destroyed by Hurricane Helene, last year. We were very pleased with the work and flexibility of Matt Syrus and his team. Katie in the front office was wonderful with regards to communication and keeping us on track. We re-opened the shelter ahead of schedule, and can't thank Syrus Construction enough for helping that dream come true!

Matt did all kinds of jobs for us when we first moved in our new home and did especially AWESOME in installing our kitchen backsplash!! 😊 Always very professional to deal with, reasonable prices and excellent quality work!!

Matt and his crew did an AMAZING job installing our ceramic floors. They were timely, professional and reasonably priced. We couldn’t be happier with our home’s new look!

We could not have been happier to have Matt and his team do the work in our villa which was pretty much an entire re-do. They met all the timelines and had everything completed in 5 wks which is what Matt said they would do. The craftsmanship of the work was exceptional. I would highly recommend them.

We hired Syrus for remodling kitchen, bath and laudry remotely. Matt and Katie were timely, responsive, paid attention to details and have a good stable of sub contractors and suppliers.

First, let me say I am picky.....I mean REALLY picky! We had a major remodel of an 80's bathroom. All custom and lots of major changes, like moving toilets, plumbing, etc. It turned out amazing and I will definitely use them for my next project. They were great to work with and handled my pickiness with a smile! I have recommended them to several neighbors and they are all satisfied and thanked me for the referral. Excellent company and superb work!

Matt and Katie have been very responsive and attentive to our project. After having damage from the hurricane, Matt came out within days to assess damage and start quote process, Matt was able to realistically pinpoint when our project would start/end. Between Katie and Matt we were able to pick all of our materials based on times that worked best for our family. Katie is super responsive via text and gave as many updates as she could and time frames from when work was completed. Matt walked through the project with us several times and anything that we wanted fixed.changed was promptly taken care of. If we ever need anything done again we will definitely be using them again.

Matt and his team were amazing at remodeling my bathroom and bedroom/office and putting my vision into work! They did an absolute fabulous job from start to finish. His team installed closets at the sides of my Murphy's bed and redid my entire bathroom. I will not hesitate to hire his team again for any kind of work that needs to be done in my home! Thanks Syrua Construction for a job well.done!!

Matt and his team at Syrus Construction have worked on 2 of my homes and did a wonderful job at each home. Kitchen remodel with granite countertops and herringbone tile backsplash in first home; painted cabinets and quartz countertops with marble backsplash and luxury vinyl flooring in the entire house including stairs in 2nd home. Highly recommend.

After unexpectedly needing to rebuild our home following a flood, we were grateful to work Matt and his team under Syrus Construction. Communication was clear and collaborative, and they were open to discussing decisions as the project moved forward (I had a lot of questions!).

Matt’s confidence and expertise showed in the final result, everything came together beautifully. We’re especially happy with the custom built-in in the entryway and the detailed tile work. Despite the challenges, the process felt steady and well-managed. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a skilled team!

My wife and I decided we wanted to remodel our master bathroom. We wanted to make the entrance to the toilet and shower Handicap friendly and on level ground as our old shower had a 6 inch drop down. We wanted a freestanding bathtub and faucet. I wanted a 12 inch drop down rain head shower. in addition, the floors and wall tiled with Carrera white porcelain.

Of all the bids submitted for the project, Syrus Construction stood out from the rest because of their special attention to detail. Matt listened to our needs and design ideas and shared his past projects and suggestions with us.

The 7 month remodel time was caused by Covid, Flu, changes to the plan by us and construction defects of our current shower that needed correction to meet code requirements.
The construction crew were experts in their fields. The tile walls and floor installer was incredible, detailing the tiles to blend flawlessly into each other.
The finished job was beautiful and exceeded what we imagined it to be. 5 STARS and thanks to all the SYRUS team for the exceptional work.
