Max Cool is hands down the best A/C company I’ve ever worked with. They’re super professional and clearly not just out to make a quick buck — they actually care about helping people and keeping homes comfortable. Their team is extremely knowledgeable, and they don’t just fix problems, they also take the time to explain and train so you understand what’s going on.

We have used Max Cool for the last 2 or 3 years for our HVAC system. They did a great job installing and maintaining our home unit. They send reminders for routine maintenance, come promptly for service calls, and their technicians are prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.

My old AC (2012) was struggling. My insulation was low after Milton blew a tree onto my roof and it wasn't fully replaced after the repair.

Jason, Andrew, Cory, and Lee took care of me and got everything right again. Jason and Andrew came out and inspected everything to see what I needed. Cory and Lee came out, put the new unit in, sealed everything up, moved some ductwork around so my airflow was better, and insulated all of the places that needed it. Their workmanship was top notch.

My house is cool, I'm confident in everything that was done, and I'm a very happy customer.

Hands down the best AC vendor I've ever worked with!! Amazing team. They actually care about the quality of their work. We had a challenge that all other vendors said they couldn't solve due to lack of crawl space but they solved it!! Good communication throughout. Came back until we were happy with the job. Can't say enough good things about this company and the people.

Alejandro Espinales is phenomenal! He was very professional, courteous and an excellent problem solver. He is the epitome of customer service 360. This company has definitely earned my business. I am so happy with my AC repair. It has been an ongoing issue off and on for over 2 years that no one could pin point and just kind of just bandaid the issue. Rodney did an outstanding job replacing our smart thermostats. Extremely knowledgeable and great attention to detail. After installation he ran additional system tests to ensure the devices operated correctly. I highly recommend hiring this company… I know I’ll be a repeat customer.

Maxcool was Honest, excellent, on time, professional, conscientious, clean, and a delight to work with. Great customer service to set up appointment. The tech, Mike Swanger, was very professional and did an outstanding job. Even taught me a few things in how to get more life out my unit. Told me about my unit warranty. Replaced the capacitor in minutes! The really impressive part was that he read the notes before he arrived and had already preplanned his testing and what most likely was the problem. With this saved a lot of time which reduces my cost! Answered my questions on filter changes. MaxCool was the best! I would highly recommend to everyone in the Lakeland area!

MAX COOL IS THE BEST WITH PEOPLE LIKE Ana and Janette answering calls and making things happen!!!! However the real reason this company is really terrific is Derrel! I cant say enough about him as a technician and a person, he is truly a great person who cares about the job he does and the company he works for.

After meeting with several local AC companies that I felt were reputable and careful evaluation of each proposal, I chose Max Cool Air to replace both of my central AC and Heating Units. I could not be happier with the results. The entire team was professional starting with Greg on the sales side, and the installation crew (Corey and Lee) were exceptional. The installation took one long day, and I felt bad for the guys, but they killed it and never complained. Max Pro was not the lowest priced option, but the price was fair and reasonable and after the team wrapped up and left, I felt very good about my decision to pay just a little bit more for the quality of the equipment and the professional installation. We upgraded from a single-stage conventional unit to a variable speed inverter system with Max Cool AC. The entire crew from sales to install, including Jeremy, Lee, Corey, Andrew, Rodney, and Derrel ensured the project ran smoothly.

I have a policy with American Homeshield and recently needed to call them because my outside AC unit would not turn on.

I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with a vendor they assigned me to and immediately after that checked out their reputation. The reviews were horrid. They offered me another company, and their review were also horrid.

I was ready to cancel my contract but called one more time to see what other company they could give me, and it was Max Cool of Apollo Beach. I looked for their reviews, and they were very positive, so I decided to give them a try.

I called them to discuss the repair, and I spoke to two wonderful Ladies by the names of Janette and Anna who was just so helpful in scheduling and overall professional in her job.

Janette scheduled Jeremy who was a great tech who checked my AC unit thoroughly and found a leak in my AC Coil that caused all my freon to escape that was 17 pounds.

Freon is very expensive and my AHS Gold plan did not cover the freon that cost me $1,199 dollars out of my pocket to recharge my unit after a new coil was to be installed. IMPORTANT note to anyone reading this review is if you would have had the AHS deluxe plan the freon was included in their repair.

So, let's look at the overall cost to me if I did not have AHS. I saved not to have to pay for the new coil and the installation of that coil. This could have run into a few thousand alone. In general AHS looks to save money when they can with a claim and found my coil was still under warranty. So, I think they took advantage of this in my case, and they saved money not having to pay for the coil but did not offer to pay for the freon with their savings of no coil purchase.

Well Max cool sent out another great technician to install my new coil and recharge my system. All I can say about Rodney is another 5 stars for technical experience and doing just a sensational job with the major repair.

Everything is working very good since the repair two days ago. I truly feel this AC company is one of the best out there and deserve to be on the list of great and fair service companies.

Service was for my in-laws but we can’t say enough great things about this company. Excellent experience from start to finish. From the initial service call to a new system quote and installation, everything was seamless. The team was professional, clean, polite, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for HVAC repair and replacement.

We have been a customer of MaxCool for several years now and have a maintenance agreement with them. They are very quick to respond and get a technician out to service out the same day. Their technicians are always super knowledgeable and friendly. Andrew recently came out to fix one of our systems that was not working. He identified the issue quickly and fixed while on site. In addition, he took the extra step to check over the whole system to ensure there were no other underlying issues. We strongly recommend them. We have used them for service as well as a whole system replacement.

I had a great experience with Max Cool Air today. From start to finish it was a positive experience. I talked with Jeanette to make an appointment and she was able to get somebody out here the same day. She has a great personality and was so friendly and helpful! She seems to really like her job and does it really well. Greg, the technician that came out, was obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly. Derrel arrived within the timeframe fully prepared to handle my A/C / Heat system issue. He was very transparent with all issues / repairs discussed and completed the repair of the system in a timely manner. I appreciate him fully making sure the issue was repaired on the first try and making sure I understood the process (within the one year warranty). Great job!
