I have been using Evergreen for many years and they have provided excellent service. Ryan, their technician, always knocks on our door before the service begins and politely asks about any areas of concern with my lawn. He performs the service with care and diligence. I truly appreciate how Ryan represents his company and his genuine interest in making my lawn look its best.

We have been so pleased with Evergreen. Their home pest control service is excellent. Their employee, Luis, is very knowledgeable and answers all of my questions.

I am so disappointed with this company. I was a customer for 6 years. Service was fine. When they were bought by a larger company, a year ago, all of that changed. Techs would show up with no notice. Notice was suddenly changed to email notifications without notifying me of the change.

My lawn began to die this year. Their techs showed up, a different one each time, and no one told me I had chinch bugs that were destroying the lawn. The last time I scheduled a service, last week, no one showed up and no one notified me of that fact. I called numerous times and was told someone is coming out today, but no one did. They have never treated for the chinch bugs.

This company does not care about customers or their lawns. Do not choose them.

We had a great experience with Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control! Our technician, Shevar, was incredibly nice, professional, and thorough. He took the time to explain everything he was doing to treat our lawn. He even gave us tips for what we should do a few days before the next time he comes out to treat the weeds, which we really appreciated. It’s clear he cares about doing a great job. We’re already looking forward to having him back out for our next service!

Phil Clyde , I recommend if you are looking for an honest, professional, very personable lawn inspector. There was no “ car sales pitch” , did not feel pressured. Great company ! I highly recommend,

We were initially very happy with Evergreen, then suddenly, something changed. We got a new technician early this year and things went downhill from there. Our lawn is now the most unsightly on the street with large dead patches and weeds. They never mentioned a thing to me as things got worse through the summer. I called and they said they would send over a manager. The manager who was sent out to check just sent us an email with his findings. He claimed it was an irrigation problem and offered to sell us an irrigation service for $79 a visit. He claimed it was MY mistake/problem.

I didn’t believe that, so I had two other contractors come by and they did soil bore samples and concluded our yard is rife with web worms and mole crickets. Soil samples also showed adequate irrigation (which I knew to be the case).

I had to fire them for gross incompetence. Now it’s going to be a long and costly recovery for my lawn. It would have been better to just let it all go. They are worse than no service at all.

Evergreen has been my third lawn service in the last two years. So far, I’ve experienced outstanding customer service. Josue Ortiz was my pro and he came and informed me that he was on the property and explained in detail what he was going to be doing and then shared recommendations as to what would improve the condition of my lawn. I find their pricing to be very reasonable in comparison to what I have previously paid and my lawn already looks a lot better. Kendall was also very helpful and responsive. Very professional.

These folks get it done and they are dependable - and what they do works. Luis Carranza is my regular service man and he rocks! Thank you Evergreen for being there for me and my home - much appreciation coming your way!

Best lawn service we have ever had. We use them for lawn & shrub care as well as termite bond. Josh is really a pro, he always asks if I have any concerns.

Issec does an excellent job taking care of my lawn. He always inquires about any areas that need extra attention, and is very courteous. Thank you so much!

I wouldn't recommend this company. We used them for several years and never saw any improvement with our yard. It actually seemed to get worse in my opinion. They then jacked the pricing up. Even after they agreed to lower the price some, we decided the service was not worth it since our yard seemed worse.

I just have to tell you that in the past 10 years I have had Pest control at condo in WI plus home in The Villages working with 3 different Pest Control Companies that provided good service. However, today was extraordinary thanks to Luis Carranza with Evergreen Lawn & Pest Control. Not only did he do the usual spraying but every room has at least one insect trap and the big rooms have several. Imagine my surprise when I went out to thank him for the "Above & Beyond the Call of Duty" service to find he had sprayed the cracks in the driveway,
around the shrubs where the little ant hills appear in the hot dry weather, and was dusting the shrubs, also!!
I can honestly say on a scale of 1-10, Luis tops the scale at 20+!

My service technician, Isaac Heuerman, is always hard working and cordial. It is good to be with a lawn service company that sends out the same reliable technician each time.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting Kassius Nelson, service manager with Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control. When Kassius arrived, I was greeted with a friendly smile and immediately felt assured that he was here to help. He did a thorough inspection of the yard, making sure the chinch bugs had been eradicated and looking for any other issues he could address. He gave clear, concise advice on what I can do to help as he and Issac work to repair the damage to my lawn.
Thank you to Isaac and Kassius for protecting my lawn from chinch bugs and working to get it looking healthy again.

I been a customer here for years. They show up and do a good job on taking care of my grass and plants. Never had an issue with them. Recently an issue came up with some of my plants. I called the office and they connected me with the manager Kassius Nelson. The manager from the start took my complaint, immediately came over to my house and fixed the issue. Some of my plants weren’t doing so good and they agreed to replace them since they realized they were at fault. Kassius the manager was always responsive through calls and texts and they fixed my issue. Again, I never had issues with them for years but it feels good knowing that when something did come up, they were more than willing to fix it. I will continue to do business with them. Honest people who are trying to keep the customer happy

Were customers for almost 15 years. The last year had been horrible. Different technicians sent out and they burned the St. Augustine in my back yard by overtreating it and they refused to pay for replacement. They offered me two free treatments after I resodded if I choose to stay with them. They had a representative call me to try to get me back on service and she said she was gonna call me back and never did. Poor customer service. The last technician that came out was Tyson and he said my yard had never looked as bad as it did. I refused service and told Casius on the phone that they damaged my yard and he felt zero sympathy for us and said that they do not resod even if their employees did the damage. Pathetic customer service. They were great before the sale of them. Do not recommend them at all.

When I first got pest control they were allstar pest control. They were reliable, cost effective, handled the very active pest control concerns in my home and had excellent communication and I had recommended them to 2 other friends. They were bought out by this company around a year ago and since then my appreciation for the service has significant decreased. One of the groups that I referred to utilize their services kept on attempting to contact evergreens and was never able to get a response and when they finally did, the Company provided a day and window of time that they said that they would be showing up to their property and they never came so that Friend never attempted to reschedule after already having difficulty with communication via phone and then them never showing up to provide the service. The technicians themselves to my understanding have been nice enough and 1 or 2 have texted me to communicate. The company automated system does not always notify of upcoming services which means I cannot coordinate that someone is home to ensure the gates are open for treatment. They asked to keep a card on file but for the last 5 services just continued to come in without notification until I got an email that there was a past due amount that was the better part of $300 at one time. When I spoke with them they told me we would have had to allow them to automatically charge the card on file. But what other reason would a client agree to leaving a card on file if not to be charged? It was frustrating to have a lump sum payment like this to pay within 3 weeks of the December holidays. There has been 2 times where they did actually send an email stating someone would come to service so the gates to my home were left open and then they didn’t send me a cancellation, send another email the following day so the gates were left open, and didnt cancel AGAIN and then finally on the third day someone came in. I didn’t appreciate that they have a notification to ensure that access is available for technicians to service but they have no problem with not notifying of cancellation so my home was left un-secured. Mind you, I have a dog and a 7 year old with autism who can play in the back yard as it is always left locked and the lock is out of reach. Lastly, we adjusted our services verbally to ensure we had a Maintenence visit on opposite months of our lawn spraying to be able to better maintain the cost. But this month, again they showed up with no notification and they came in on December 11th and yesterday 12/29 making it 2 visits in the same month to pay for, after we just caught up and paid almost $300 for previous services. At this point we told the technician to cancel our service with them as they have left so much to be desired in the realm of communication. I then attempted to call their customer service to also let the main office know that we would be canceling services because the technicians and main office do not seem to communicate. I left a voicemail at around 9 AM and nobody ever called me back yesterday or today. As far as the pest control itself, I still have some ant activity in the yard- though decreased, so I suppose that aspect is average. I am just very displeased. Even if a company offers more cost effective service, does not mean there should be a sacrifice of communication and property safety.

I have been a customer for several years but due to the unbelievable downturn in service by the technicians and non-responsiveness from the office I cancelled today. I was very satisfied at one time but couldn’t be more disappointed in how things have so drastically changed over the last year. I had a technician being caught on camera doing a “half-spray” of yard. I also made repeated requests for company to use “blue indicator” for weed treatments so I could see that weeds were treated which was never done as weeds were flourishing. Finally, I started requesting that I be notified 24 hours in advance of a technician’s arrival so I could physically meet with the tech and oversee the work being performed. That wasn’t done. Finally, I knew it was getting close to a service call so I called Evergreen, got what believe was a call center, and reminded them to ensure that I must be notified 24 hours in advance of pending service. I also informed them that under no circumstances should any service be performed during the upcoming weekend as I would be out of town. Guess what, no 24 hour notice, service performed on Saturday and no blue indicator used. I called the company to express my dissatisfaction and again got what sounds like a call center rep. In fact, when I requested to talk to Lisa, who has always been responsive, I was told they have no way of transferring the call. When I asked if she was in the office, I was told they have no way of knowing that. That’s why I believe it’s a call center. Anyway, I requested that someone call me back today. No one returned my call. Weeds are thriving, grass is suffering. I should’ve cancelled a year ago when things started getting bad but I was forever optimistic things would get better. Things didn’t improve but actually got worse and my patience is exhausted. The one bright spot is Lisa but I can never get a hold of her anymore.

We started with Custom Green Lawns, which provided great service. They were recently purchased by Evergreen, and our service has completely gone down hill. We initially signed up for 4 services a year with custom green lawns only to realize that evergreen started charging us for 8 services a year without notification.

On top of that, we have weeds everywhere, and they even killed a whole patch of our grass. I had asked for them to rectify their poor work, said that I would not complete payment until our issues were resolved. Evergreen then sent our bill to a collections agency, and did not correct our lawn. Now we have dead grass, and they have affected our credit score and we still have to go out of our way to get the dead stuff removed and get new sod in. Don’t waste your time with this company.

This company destroyed my grass, promised to re-sod it, and never followed through. Instead of fixing the damage they caused, they returned to my property without my permission, charged me for a service I had already canceled, and then had the nerve to send the balance to a debt collector.

I’ve called over 10 times and was repeatedly told “a manager will call you back” — that never happened. Zero accountability. Zero communication.

I’ve made it very clear that I don’t mind paying, but I’m not paying until they fix the lawn they ruined. That’s basic responsibility, and they’ve completely failed at it.

Between the property damage, unauthorized visits, improper billing, and sending me to collections instead of resolving the issue, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

    UPDATE!!!!

What a joke of a company. I canceled their services months ago nearly a year now and yet they just sent me another bill.

Their team damaged my lawn, promised to fix it, and never followed through. After reaching out more than 10 times with no resolution, I’m now being billed again for services I no longer use.

I’m beyond frustrated and will be pursuing legal action. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

We have been loyal clients for many years. About a year ago, we noticed the yard wasn’t in the proper condition, and Kassius personally came to take care of it. He is extremely professional and very knowledgeable in his field. We truly appreciate his attention and expertise.

We have been with Evergreen for 3.5 years and have recently added pest control to the lawn spraying. Our tech Jeff was terrific! Communicated quickly, clearly, showed up on time (always with a smile) and always covers his shoes (a minor detail we were pleased to see). He took the time to identify the specific ant and go over what products work and which ones don’t - one application and my issue is gone! I can’t say enough nice things about this company. Thank you Evergreen and thank you Jeff.
