Not sure about you, but it seems impossible to find quality service anymore… until now. We’ve owned our condo here in Boca Raton for about 18 years and have replaced just about everything at least once. I cringe every time I have to call a service company as it’s so hit or miss anymore, mostly miss.

Our HVAC has been limping a long for the last year or so after having various substandard companies come out and do maintenance, I finally decided to shop around for a new unit.

One of my calls was to Diane at Air Boca. We discussed our situation and she had her tech Yandis out that same afternoon to look at our needs and give us a quote on a new system. Yandis was very knowledgeable and was familiar with our community and other customers in our development. His quote was very reasonable, but turned out we needed to have some electrical work done to support the new unit. He said not to worry that they had a great electrician that could do the work for us. We signed the contract that night knowing that new AC units are hard to get these days.

Diane was a huge help and did all the leg work to find us a new unit in a very short time and within a week or so, we were getting the electrical done and having the new unit installed. The installers and electrician came at the same time, they were all super nice, knowledgeable, and worked together to get our unit install in about four hours. Diane coordinated the permits and scheduled our inspections and everything passed.

All in all this has been a great experience working with Air Boca and I am impressed with everyone I met with this company. Their quality of service and communication has been a breath of fresh (cold) air.

We began our customer relationship with Air Boca approximately a year ago....with an emergency. They were very understanding and helpful and sent a technician over that night. The problem was solved quickly, cleanly and efficiently. We were so pleased that we signed up for an annual service. We have since needed them again for a semi- emergency to which they responded quickly to take care of the problem. We needed filters for the air handler and they were dropped off at our home within a few days. We can't ask for better service and we intend to stay with Air Boca as long as they maintain the current customer service.

Technician came out to investigate a water leak on my AC & quote me for a replacement. A few hours after they left, we noticed the AC had now entirely stopped functioning. I contacted Air Boca again and initially they committed to having a technician come out again immediately and see what had happened. I did not accuse them of anything, simply noted that it was very odd timing and probably just some minor mistake.

Shortly after that call, someone else from Air Boca called me to say that the technician would no longer be coming immediately unless I paid them more money on top of the earlier service call that I had already paid for, or if I waited until the next morning. This is horrible service and shows that they care more about squeezing a buck out of their customers than doing right by them. We couldn't bring ourselves to giving them one more dime.

They sent the same technician out again to me the next morning who didn't do much more than look at the AC unit, agree that it was no longer functional, insist that there was no way it was anything he did & that the entire AC needs to be replaced, and left. Later that morning, another HVAC company came out, actually made an effort, and found the cause of the malfunction within 5 minutes. Dead capacitor on compressor which also burned up some wiring. This second AC company also quoted me for a replacement which was 15% cheaper than Air Boca.

In summary - poor value, not very capable/helpful technicians, and absolutely horrible customer service. There's a billion good HVAC companies in Florida - this ain't one of em. Just skip.

I'm a hardened New Yorker, and always skeptical of vendors. I'm also inclined to get additional opinions. The issue involved an air conditioning unit in a Florida condo my family owns. I heard several opinions, all expensive and all allegedly requiring a new AC unit. Then I invited Air Boca in to get their point of view. They were highly professional, courteous, and knew what they were doing. The solution they came up with fixed the problem at a fraction of the cost everyone else quoted. I wholeheartedly recommend Air Boca without any hesitation. Use them.

I've used Air Boca for their maintenance contract for several years now. They charge an upfront fee for the first visit and I get 2 more maintenance visits under that original charge. They have also installed new thermostats for me. All the work has been done in a prompt and professional manner. They also contact me to schedule the follow up visits. I have no complaints and would recommend them.

I've been a client of Air Boca for about 10 years. Their work is impeccable. Their installers are all skilled, reliable technicians. So when 2 of my neighbors needed service for their air conditioner, I had no hesitation recommending Air Boca. In both cases, only needed repairs were recommended. My neighbors were delighted to find Air Boca in a sea of questionable AC companies.

We've been using Air Boca for a few years now and can highly recommend them. Their techs are always knowledgeable and professional. We've called on weekends, nights, and holidays for our a/c problems; they always respond. Their prices are reasonable and their quotes are accurate and upfront. They recently saved us a service call by telling me how to reset my ac after a huge storm. They're awesome

I was very pleased with the new A/C unit I purchased from Air Boca. They arrived when they said they would and did a quality installation of my new outside compressor unit and my in-attic air handler. Their price was very competitive and their salesman, Noesley, who also worked on the installation of the attic unit was very pleasant and easy to work with. I have a second A/C unit in my home of approximately the same age as my recently deceased one and I would certainly work with Air Boca again when the time comes to replace the second unit.

To put it simply, if you enjoy navigating through frustrating and perplexing situations, then Air Boca might just be the company for you to consider. Air Boca installed two new A/C units across two of my properties, and I've faithfully kept up with years of maintenance payments. The ironic twist emerges when my A/C unit, not even two years old, decided to falter on a day when indoor temperatures reached a scorching 88 degrees. While I don't hold out hope for empathy,
Here's the crux of the matter: while a morning call for service yields little assistance, the company displays a curious willingness to send help only after hours – specifically from 4 PM until 7 PM. If you find yourself needing assistance outside these hours, brace yourself for the less-than-welcome surprise of an "after-hours service" charge on your bill. Furthermore, warranties seem to have an expiration time as well – after 4:00 PM, they're rendered void. When seeking clarification on this policy, the response received was that "other companies do the same." Essentially, they're saying that many A/C companies partake in the practice of charging steep fees for inspecting A/C units they installed not too long ago. It's a situation that could leave you feeling taken advantage of. Victoria, the individual handling phone interactions, seems to excel in providing what I can only describe as "nasty" customer service. And then there's Diane, the office manager, who exudes a high level of indifference. These factors played a significant role in my decision to steer clear of Air Boca in the future. Yes, it is sad to say but "Nasty" seems to capture the essence of customer service at Air Boca. Just don’t, there are other companies out here. By the way I had another company who came and flush the lines same day and fixed the capacitator and I am happy to say I am back to 75 degrees in my house. Dealing with all these charlatans in Boca either being A/C or plumbing or anything else around the house is got to stop, it’s not brain surgery but it definitely cost more than that….why?

I have been using Air Boca for semi-annual service since we moved into into the Broken Sound Club 4 years ago. About 18 mo ago I decided to get a new system. I received multiple bids knowing ahead of time I'd use Air Boca due to their outstanding service. They are very professional, reasonably priced, honest and always on time. They stand behind the products they sell and the work they do. Happy customer here!!

We have been using Air Boca since 2020 and have always been very pleased with their service. They fixed an bad installation from another AC company (who shall not be named), made reasonable recommendations on future things that were needed and did a really nice job overall. We had heard from some friends that they had less then a stellar experience so we were concerned about calling for our latest after hours emergency.

We should not have worried. Yandis who had done all of the repairs in 2020 and 2021 returned the call within 15 minutes and was at the house 10 minutes later. We had done some troubleshooting of our own so we were able to point to the probable cause of the issue. He agreed with the initial assessment and got to work.

In 45 minutes, all the work was completed. We renewed our maintenance agreement (at $249 for the year, very reasonable). Because we signed the maintenance agreement, the $125 after hours emergency fee was reduced to $81 plus the work that was done.

Once again Air Boca saved the day and we know we can specifically request Yandis for our future work. Nice to know in this crazy South Florida world, there are companies that will do a good job.

I want to thank Yohan from Air Boca for his professionalism and honesty diagnosing and repairing my air conditioning at my rental property. I had been told by a competitor that I needed a new system even though mine was 4 years old. He quickly determined the problem and his office verified the replacement part was under manufacturers warranty. I just had to pay for a reasonable labor fee. I was so impressed with Air Boca that I had them install a new air conditioning system for my home a few days later. That install went great. Thank you Yohan and crew!

Air Boca installed new complete A/C system at my house back in spring of 2004.
So when last week my old compressor died, I called Air Boca again, (Friday) they came the very SAME day, gave me a price, ordered new condenser and new evaporating coil SAME day, had it delivered to their warehouse on Monday and installed it on Tuesday !
That's fast service, they are very professional, cleaned up and removed old rusty equipment and gave me a 10 year warranty and free 1 year service !
If you need new A/C call them. You will not be disappointed !!!

I have been using Air Boca just over a year. Started out with an emergency service call which was handled within hours of my call and totally to my satisfaction. Just wrapped up my second preventative maintenance visit by their tech Cody. He is by far the most thorough, knowledgeable and capable tech I have seen in my eight years in South Florida. I look forward to seeing him again in six months. He is the kind of employee that helps build and maintain an excellent reputation which Air Boca is entitled to.

Air Boca absolutely stunned me with their exceptional service and no up charges for working after hours on a weekend.

I came home from vacation at 4:30 Saturday afternoon and my air was not working. I called my current air conditioning company, with whom I have a contract, and they said they could not get out until likely Monday.

I called Air Boca, whom I’ve never done business with before, and they had a technician out to my property within 25 minutes. This was at 5:30 Saturday evening. Not only did Yandis fix the problem, he was exceptional and went above and beyond.

There was no up charge for it being a weekend or after hours. Absolutely unheard of in today’s day and age.

You never know what you’re going to get when you request service from a new provider. But I tried Air Boca based on its long list of positive reviews and they definitely exceeded my expectations. Their tech, Yandis, was genuine, professional, and immediately trustworthy, and fixed the issue in less than an hour. I can easily say they’ve earned my continued business as a result of his demeanor and quality of work.

I’ve been using Air Boca for maintenance for over nine years now. Last week I had purchased a new air conditioning split unit and nest thermostats on a Friday. The owner Carlos is very personable and fair in pricing. Within a few days I had five of his most professional competent technicians at my home doing the installation. They arrived ahead of there scheduled time and within five hours my unit was installed. My property was left clean and we are once again Happy Air Boca customers. Thank you Noel for your honest recommendation and pictures of what my old air conditioner was like in my attic. I also thank you for such a well organized installation. I received three quotes, Air Boca was with most competitive. They performed the work diligently and did a quality job. Last time this AC was replaced it took a full day. Air Boca did it in 3 hours and improved the installation by added a better float switch and looking glass for the refrigerant. I highly recommend them!

I recently decided to try Air Boca after having poor service with another local company. The tech found a major issue with my (already wonky) unit during routine maintenance and we decided to replace the system, rather than repair the issue. The installation service was very fast, their team was organized and clean, and they did a great job installing the new system. Price was below national average.

I called Air Boca for a service call to flush the drain line like I had done in the past. The girl on the phone said it would be a $115 service charge plus the labor to flush the drain line. I had this done just 5 months before. Their service charge went up $20, Ok, like everything else. I asked how much to flush the drain. 5 months ago we paid $86 for that. She put me on hold while she went to ask, came back and said, yes that will be the price. I said Ok, and they were sending someone out later. The service man came, and at the front door told me it was going to be $115 plus $275 to flush the drain! I told him his office told me it was going to be the same price I paid a few months ago, $115 plus $86 (which is $20 more because of the increase in the service charge). If the girl on the phone would have said $275 to flush the drain line, I would have never scheduled an appointment with them!. He asked, "who did you speak with"? I said, "whatever girl answered your phone"! Well he said that's not the price and Air Boca got bought out and the new owners are different. Well, with that said, I said GOODBYE, I'm not going to do the service with you. Mind you, he hadn't even looked at my A/C yet. Beware the new owners are not customer friendly. I called another company and they flushed the drain line and deducted the service call charge to the job, way way way under the price Air Boca quoted me. Plus they also performed maintenance on my 2 other units and I bought a maintenance contract from them. Air Boca, you lost a good customer. You need to get it together.

We just had our 6 month maintenance check with Noel and was very pleased with the entire service. Air Boca has been our air conditioning company for the last three years and we feel we are with a trusted, competent, and professional group. They are prompt in response and provide excellent repair work and installation. The office calls to set up appointments, reminders, lets you know who is coming and what time to expect them. They installed our unit three years ago and worked with us to select the right sized and priced one for us. We can't say enough about their professionalism and work standard.
