My elderly mother that doesn’t live close to me needed plumbing services. I placed a call at 11am and had someone there within a few hours. Conner called me when he was on his way, when he arrived and with a diagnosis of the issue promptly.

I had a clogged toilet and called Griggs to unplug it. Two men came over, asked a few questions and told me that the job would cost $450+.After declining their offer, one worker went out to the van to "consult his boss" and came back with a price of $380+. I went to a hardware and purchased a jug of Green Gobbler for $14.95, After letting the product soak in overnight, the toilet flushed and has remained clear.

1 hour or work $3900. Thanks, but no thanks.

Update: Owner is full of it. Had 2 other quotes around $500 -- was so quick and easy the job ended up being $400. Do yourself a favor and go with a real plumber like Picard or Richards -- Not these wannabe private equity plumbers.

This review has nothing to do with Joe their service team member as he was on time and was very professional even being put in a not so pleasant position.

We had to replace our water heater 6 years ago and used Griggs and was pleaesed with their service. So when we needed plumbing service they were of course our 1st choice. Was very disappointed in how things have changed. Let me say we are willing to pay for the service we receive. This time we were quoted $1,300 to replace the water heater which was a 500% increase from last installation. We had our recipe from last installation so it wasn't our imagination.

So be aware!

Griggs Plumbing came out to our house for a toilet repair 1 year, 2 months ago. They completed a reset of the toilet and charged us $350.00. They used plastic bolts to secure the toilet to the floor - those bolts broke. This time, they quoted us $717.00 to do the same repair which should have been under warranty. They used cheap materials which understandably failed. They would not honor a warranty because it was outside of a 1 year warranty that they offer. They wanted another $717.00 (All Labor and probably plastic bolts again) for about 1 hour worth of work per the field technician that came for the visit. They are trying to take advantage of senior citizens by overcharging and providing less than adequate repairs. I would not recommend this company to by worst enemy.

Dominic is very knowledgeable and honest about the work that needs to be done. He provided estimates of future repairs and did not try to sugar coat the issue.

Dominic does not set the price and I do feel the price I was quoted was prohibitive. The price for the service call was reasonable.

My Refrigerator ice line flooded the kitchen and dining room while I was at work. I called Griggs and they dispatch Robert immediately. He was here and under 15 minutes and identified the problem. Unfortunately, it was my Refrigerator that is the problem. So they only charged me the admin fee, which was very fair. Robert was so nice and helpful! I would highly recommend Griggs. Plus, they have the coolest trucks!!

Conner Coffaro went above and beyond making sure our needs were met. He made a call to get a replacement water heater for us the same day, covered under warranty. He took time to answer all our questions and was patient, kind and professional. I highly recommend him to provide knowledgeable, thorough services.

I had a plumbing issue and someone gave a recommendation for them to help me. Made a phone call someone came within an hour. The problem was taken care of quite quickly , Professionally and was told the price before they proceeded to fix the problem. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Joe Z was amazing! Professional.
Knowledgeable. He came over the same day to address a water line leak on the property, explained the situation, assured me it will get fixed and proceeded to install and secure a new water spigot

I have a pot metal hose fitting corroded on an outside faucet spigot. I've been a customer for 26 years, one street over from the Griggs Plumbing store. I understand that a company has to make money. The estimated costs to do the repair was estimated between $550 - $880 depending on what had to be done. I paid $49.50 for the consultation . A bit extreme considering our business history and location. I wouldn't have guessed it would be so much to remove a water hose end from a outside spigot. I'm on disability and can't afford those prices. For me taking care of two elderly people, even the consultation was pricey. If you can afford it, Griggs is a good company and the plumber Joe was nice.

I wanted to thank this company, especially Joe and his partner for coming out to my home and resolving a severe water pressure issue all in one afternoon. Joe was very thorough, hard working and has a great personality. In addition to the service, to our surprise we received the most thoughtful gift as a thank you from this company. Although the price much higher than expected, the job was completed and shower water pressure is the best it’s been in over 3 years.

Work was done quickly and efficiently.
However felt price was too high for a valve replacement.Pleased with the work but not with the price. A valve for $600 ?

Thank you Griggs Plumbing who never let me down. I had a leak which turned out to be my garbage disposal was a goner! Dominque came out and was able to do the repairs same day! He took great care of me. Excellent service, reasonable price and very personable and professional. I highly recommend Griggs for all your plumbing needs!

I can personally vouch for Nick in terms of his ethical, fair conduct when it comes to business dealings particularly when it comes to finances. In a day & age when individuals & businesses are pulling the wool over people's eyes left & right Nick by no means subscribes to this tomfoolery as he has demonstrated in his conduct toward me as a business associate in the somewhat small yet potentially very telling exchanges we have had. & you know what they say...If you can count on someone in the small things you can count on them w. something bigger. I trust Nick to act squarely w. me as he has demonstrated in the past & that is a compliment I would extend to only a handful or two tradesmen (& essentially all self-employed &/or 'commission-based' professionals) today. Thanks Nick. Keep up the good (& honest) work!

Nick had called to verify it was ok to come earlier to the appointment. Did a great job in troubleshooting the issue. I was surprised at how quickly he fixed it. Made sure I checked his work before he left. I would recommend them to anyone!!
