Mr. Duncanson was a lifesaver!!! He came to our rescue on a Sunday with great work and great price to get our power back on and our house functioning. He was very professional and so kind! I would recommend this company to anyone!!!

Joe is the BEST! My power went out, called Duke Energy, they came out and said I need an electrician....Joe came over immediately and had me back up and running in no time! He truly is the 'fuse whisperer'.....fast,effective and reasonable!

I messaged Joe via the website about several electrical issues present in my home. Joe immediately contacted me and advised I contact the power company. Sure enough, my power line was providing only 160v instead of 220v. Duke energy quickly responded and fixed the problem. Joe's knowledge and experience relieved my mind and wallet. Joe will be the only master electrician allowed to service my home from now on. Great guy!

My friend had Joe help him with his kitchen lighting problem - they had shadows everywhere and lights that didn't work, as well as switches that seemed to go nowhere! Joe was extremely helpful in that he discovered where previous electrical work had gone wrong - something that other electricians they had called couldn't find. They spent alot of money on the other guys and now wish they had found Joe first! Not only did he solve the hidden problem but he helped them redesign the kitchen lighting and they have no shadows at all - wonderful. Also he gave them advice on more economical lighting, so they are saving money every day. They were also impressed with Joe's knowledge of whether the County Electrical Code would allow them to do what they desired. (they don't have a computer so they asked me to post this review for them) They give him thumbs up and would very highly recommend him for any electrical job.

Joe has repaired various things for me, even my pool pump, and I have always been pleased with his work. He has figured out many electrical problems that other electricians couldn't. Now I always call him first when I have a problem. I highly recommend him and wouldn't use anyone else. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF!

I thought I was in big trouble when my breaker box in my house started smoking the day we arrived in Florida for the winter. A neighbor recommended that I call Joe. He coame over, checked out the situation, turned everything off, and said he would need some parts that he didn't carry on his truck. Half hour later he was back with everything he needed. He went to work and two hours later had us up and running. I think he charged us fairly. Thanks Joe.

His professional knowledge and very personable attitude minimized my fears and he made the necessary repairs on the spot. I will use Joe's services again and strongly recommend him to to anyone.

I meant to come on here and put in a review almost a year ago now. I have an old Bungalow out by the beach, and had some pesky areas that we either had no access to, or outlets that just didn’t work.

Joe was creative in areas that required someone to think outside the box and made of the most of old wiring in other areas that was originally put in back when the home was built.

All in all, Joe was great conversation and he did a great job in my home. I recommended him to my neighbors across the street, and they gave me great feedback from the work you did for them as well.

Joe Duncanson is a very competent and professional electrician. We had a serious lack of lighting problem in our kitchen. Joe suggested and installed LED under cabinet lighting. It looks beautiful and it completely solved the problem. He also installed canned lights in our kitchen and dining area, and a ceiling fan out by the pool. He worked quickly and did a great job. We are very pleased! We will definitely call Joe for all of our future electrical needs.

Very honest and fair. Joe will treat you like a friend and not like another customer to help you resolve the problem/issue that you have anyway he can. Honesty and fairness is not something you find very often these days in people but Joe was all that and more. He returned my calls on time, follow through and never left me hanging.

Gave Joe a call post seeing his van parked in The Home Depot parking light about lights flickering inside the house. Despite being under the weather he spent time with me on the phone to diagnosis the problem without seeing it, and was able to get everything resolved without coming to the house or charging me. Could've scheduled a time to come and charged us hundreds of dollars instead. Due to that honesty and ability to diagnosis the problem without seeing it he will absolutely be the person I call whenever I need anything done!

Joe was friendly and polite and showed up on time. Did the job in a reasonable amount of time. Gave me a reasonable HELPFUL solution when he could have ripped me off, and charged me a very reasonable price. I am happy with the work that he did.

One suggestion that I have for Joe is that he should have told me that he does not accept credit cards while we were on the phone. He told at the end of the job when it came time to pay, and I was planning on paying with a credit card. This came as quite a surprise to me. But since the job was not expensive it was not an issue. But it could have been an issue if it was a more expensive situation.

I also think that it would be worth noting that he starts counting the first hour of labor when he leaves his house, and not when he gets to your house.

But like I said, he did a good job, was on time, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I will hire Joe again.

I contacted Joe after seeing his favorable reviews on the web. As a potential new customer, this was my first experience with him. After discussing the problem we were having, he thought it was likely a Duke Power issue with the electric running into the house. He also politely advised how to navigate through Duke’s Customer Service, so that we had a quick response. Happily, we had the problem corrected by the Utility, with no expense to us.

Clearly, Joe could have made a routine service call, delivered the same advice and billed me for this advice. It’s refreshing to come across a service provider that seems to place quality above profit. Thanks Joe!

Joe was in my home for just 10 minutes. He diagnosed my dimmer switch repair immediately. He could not do the actual repair since he did not stock a new dimmer switch on his truck. He walked me through fixing it myself. For a total of 10 minutes in my home he charged me $110. After speaking with 3 other electricians I was told that the visit should not have been more than $80. Shame on me for not asking him what his service call charge would be ahead of time! Do not make the same mistake! Ask first!
