This company is excellent 💯 Last weekend after a ton of duke electric work on downed lines we walked outside to a burning smell. Below is the picture. These guys came out within an hour on Sunday and after the storm w so many calls and fixed our issue in 1/2 hour. The surge protector for the pool heater and filter did its job. We were very grateful. Thanks.

Very pleased from beginning to end with this company. They were professional, courteous, and more than fair. I live in a mobile home and they had to move the electric from a pedestal in the backyard to a new meter they installed on my home. Angel was the technician that came out to our house he was incredibly knowledgeable he taught my family some things about electrical safety and he fixed a problem that I have been living with for 10 years he was so nice and I am glad that I got Angel as my technician because he truly is an angel

Called and talked to Penny. She sent Luke out to replace circuit breaker that was sparking. He was very professional, fast and checked all circuits in and outside to be sure they were working. Dunedin Electric did a fantastic job for us. They showed up right on time and brought two crews to install a new panel box. What would’ve taken one crew a day and a half was completed much faster, so we didn’t have to be put out or get a hotel. The team was very nice, professional, and efficient. First.... in a world where just about every business I call no longer mans the phones but requires that I "leave a message and they will get back to me", Dunedin Electric actually answered the call! They listened to the problem and then scheduled the work promptly. The technicians (Paul and Blair) were right on time, and were friendly and courteous. The issue was investigated and repaired quickly! All is right in my home again! Finally, the price was more than reasonable! I highly recommend this company!

What a great experience with these guys! Needed an open neutral fixed on an outlet for a closing. Luke and Tyler came out and overcame a couple obstacles to get this repair done. Super happy with their professionalism and quality of work. Definitely a recommend and will use them in the future.

Angel was the technician Dunedin Electric sent out per Duke Energy to do testing on some of our electrical outlets. He was so meticulous and explained everything to me that I could understand. I had a restful, peaceful sleep knowing that my concerns had been addressed. He even explained how to use an outlet tester. I will definitely use them for personal electrical needs in the future and he is so trustworthy, I will be requesting him for any future work.

I highly recommend Dunedin Electric! To meet home insurance requirements, I had to get our existing electric panel replaced (it was too old) with a new panel and circuit breakers, update the grounding system, and add surge protection. Dunedin Electric came to our house to review the needed work and provided a very competitive quote to get the entire job done, including getting the permit and inspection arranged. They sent a two man team to tackle the job to ensure it was completed in a timely fashion (same day…and I can happily report that no ice cream melted in our freezer!). They did an excellent, neat job, tested all the breakers, relabelled the panel, and cleaned up their work debris when they finished. They arranged for the inspection that fit my schedule and the work was approved. Definitely give Dunedin Electric a chance to tackle your next electrical project.

Like another reviewer, I didn’t want to go to a large company for the electrical work I needed done on my 1985 home. However, I’m new to Clearwater and didn’t know anyone that could make a recommendation, so I went online with Home Advisor and received the names of several companies in the area. I talked with two of them and was dismayed to find out that one of them would only quote the entire job and was unwilling to quote by the hour, and another one wanted to charge me for their travel time to give me a free estimate! Luckily, I went online and found Montgomery Electric, a husband and wife team located in Clearwater. After talking with Chris I was convinced I had the right team, and this was before I met Charles!
When Charles arrived at my home, I didn’t have to ask him to put on his mask. I’ve had to ask every other service person that has come to the house during the pandemic to do that. Because I had both outdoor and indoor wiring issues, Chris asked me to prioritize what I needed done. I showed Charles my outdoor issues first, followed by my indoor issues. The types of problems I knew about included several outdoor plugs and outdoor lights not working, live wires sticking out of a box that did not have a cover on it that shocked a technician installing a water softener, and bad wiring to a pump for a sprinkler system including use of an extension cord. Charles was able to fix those problems and others that I didn’t know about in a little over 5 hours.
I knew about two electrical issues inside the house. Every time I turned a certain switch that controlled a pair of outdoor lights at my dock, the lights in two bedrooms, bathroom, hallway and my TV would go out. I also needed 4 ceiling fans replaced. Little did I know the extent of bad wiring and code violations in the older portion of my home until Charles started to replace the fans!
It turns out a previous owner did his own electrical work to install the original fans. Charles found extension cords used for wiring, switch boxes with no backs, ceiling boxes used instead of fan boxes, and bad wiring. Needless to say, I didn’t know the extent of the bad wiring and code violations, but am so relieved that Charles found the issues and quickly fixed them. I am not an electrician and every time he found an issue he would clearly explain what he found and what needed to be done in terms that I could understand.
And, after every day, he presented me a time and material invoice that clearly described what he did. I truly feel the quality of Charles’ work coupled with the pricing he charged was very reasonable. Both he and Chris are class acts and I strongly recommend them. Sincerely, Jackie
