We were in need of a new roof after ours was 25 years old! We figured it would be best to do solar and roofing all in one sweep. Affordable was great to work with on both ends & I’m glad a company proficient in roofing put the panels in to make sure none of our tiles were damaged.

Had a great experience with Affordable Solar. The process was quick and easy. They guided me through everything. The technician Michael was amazing and showed me what I needed to know. I’d recommend this company to anyone!

I was away for most of the project for work. Easy to stay in the loop with Agon my representative. The price was too good pass up as well, especially with the credit running out. Excellent working with Affordable and appreciate I didn't have to constantly check up, I got 32 Q cell panels paired to an Enphase Inverter.

I purchased a solar system with 3 emphases batteries in April 2024. I purchased this $60k system to avoid purchasing a generator and was told that the bidirectional charger was available at the time I purchased the system (it is in my contract with them) NOT TRUE. I sold my Mercedes E53 convertible and bought a Kia EV 9 because this company told me it would work with the bidirectional charger and together with the 3 batteries I purchased from this company that this system would keep my entire house powered for days and indefinitely if the sun came out. Now, 18 months later, no bidirectional charger an EV that I never would have purchased and a system that can only power lights and internet. No AC, which is why I purchased the system in the 1st place. They set my system up in a way that even when the bidirectional charger is available it won’t work correctly and want to charge me an exhorbadent $13k to fix. All of this should have been done in the beginning. They don’t have a clue what they are doing; they don’t return calls, their customer support is very poor. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

If you read the reply to my review from Affordable Solar Roof and Air; I think that is all you need to know about this company. I called asking for them to sell me another $6000 battery and to fix the way the system was set up. They gave me a quote for $13,000 which is ridiculous. My reply was that they sold me a system that they knew was not available (bi-directional charger) and that they set the system up incorrectly for when the charger is available. To call me a liar and the worst kind of customer to acquire should tell you that you also could be treated this way by this company. Instead of trying to resolve my issues, they resort to name calling. There are many other solar companies in this area. Choose wisely. I'm sure they have some kind of control of their Google reviews. BTW, they fired my salesman and they must have very high turnover as I have spoken to no fewer than 6 different people trying to get my issue resolved. If there is a way to contact me through this review, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Impressed with the serviced I received from Max & Michael from ASRA. They were very professional and knowledgeable when it came to informing everything I needed to know about solar and the benefits to making the switch. My system is easy to manage and monitor with the qcell app. I have 24 430w qcell panels on my roof. Install was good.

I am now spending MORE for electricity than I was before getting the solar panels. ...

It has now been over two years since you installed the solar panels on my house. I have 2 questions, when will you review my electric usage and realize that I need the additional 5 panels for better service. The existing panels are sufficient as long as I do not run my air conditioner. Second, I am still waiting for your installers to pick up the debris left in my yard from the initial installation.

We were away for most of the installation period, Affordable Solar kept in contact with us but got the job done without us needing to oversee the operation. We got a 45 panel system which should be more than enough, we wanted to ensure we would have no bill at all. Peter Haack has been terrific!

Every single person I worked with has been fantastic! Amazing group of people at Affordable Solar Roof & Air. Angel Fleites has been delightful as our representative, always checking in on us and making sure our project got done as quickly as possible. We reached out to three companies and NOBODY competed with Angel’s knowledge of solar! Affordable Solar Roof & Air was the only company that offered a discount for veterans/ first responders; that really impressed me and made Affordable Solar Roof & Air the clear choice for us. Their installers came in a team of two and those guys worked so hard! NEVER TOOK A BREAK, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anybody that’s looking into solar.

The only positive part of this experience came from our initial salesman, Brandon. Since then, it’s been a complete lack of communication from this company. Nobody ever contacted me to turn the panels on like promised. I had to contact them multiple times. Nobody ever conducted an exit interview as promised. That still hasn’t happened. My app has not worked in 2 months and when I called today for a status update, they said there were notes for me to call Q Cells. They have zero accountability and nobody bothered to contact me to even tell me this. With all the solar companies around, I would encourage you to find who has basic communication skills, at minimum. You will find yourself frustrated if you try and work with this company.

I recently had Tesla powerwall installed. Agon Bajrami was the contact who seamlessly walked me through the process. It was a pleasure working with Agon. He is very quick to respond to the messages or emails and he got resolution to the issues at hand. I would say he is an asset to Affordable Solar. Thank you Agon.

I had high hopes for this project, but the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The primary reason I proceeded with solar was to have the system permitted, inspected, and placed in service by year-end to qualify for the federal tax credit. This was clearly communicated and acknowledged during the sales process.

Due to permitting delays, use of a third-party inspection process, internal coordination issues, and poor communication, the project was not completed or placed in service by year-end. As a result, I lost eligibility for the tax credit, which was a major financial factor in my decision to move forward.

Despite the system not being fully operational, close-out not being completed, and multiple written disputes, I was pressured for payment, threatened with a lien, and even charged a late fee while the system was not yet turned on and messages were going unanswered.

Some team members did try to help, but overall accountability and communication were lacking. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to get all timelines, permitting details, and payment conditions clearly in writing and to be cautious if tax credits are a key reason for moving forward.

Starting from Brandon, the installation team and finally Michael are all so professional. My friend used another company and I used affordable solar, I signed the contract about one week later than my friend. Michael turned on my system today but my friend’s system hasn’t been installed yet.

Michael from affordable solar came out right away as soon as I got PTO from my utility company to turn on my new solar system from affordable. He was a great help and a pleasure to work with. Our whole experience was the same from whoever else we dealt with at affordable from the office to installers. The timeline was quick as well.

After the hurricane last year we knew it would be smart to invest in solar energy in case we lost the grid for a while again. Everybody around us has generators for outages but if everyone races to the gas station what good is a generator! The Tesla Powerwall 3 gives you the most bang for your buck and the app was easy to understand. Being out in the country it’s always good to have backups and be self sufficient, I’m happy I worked with Affordable Solar to get my battery system.

We loved working with Affordable. I’ve already referred my sister and my daughter before our system was even up and running because of how professional they were. We had originally talked to 5 companies- Affordable Solar Roof & Air was the first we talked to and nobody compared from there on. They were all in house & had every angle of the process covered. Install guys got finished in less than a day. Closing out the process with an app walkthrough answered any remaining questions.

I had a solar system installed by Affordable Solar and Roof, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. I encountered two significant issues that speak to both service quality and follow-through on promises made during the sales process.

First, my solar system lost connection to the app, which I depend on to monitor my energy usage. After trying various troubleshooting steps without success, I contacted Affordable Solar and Roof, only to be told there would be a $250 service fee to check the system. This was never mentioned during the sales process—in fact, I was assured that support would be available at no cost if any issues arose.

The second issue started during installation. One of the installers accidentally stepped on an unsupported area in the attic, which caused significant damage, leaving a hole in my ceiling and scattering insulation throughout my home. I understand that mistakes happen and didn’t have a problem with this part; however, the way the repair was handled left much to be desired. I contacted Guy from the company, who sent someone a few days later to fix it. However, I had to spend $300 on immediate cleanup since the scattered insulation was reportedly chemical-based and challenging to remove.

While the contractor repaired the ceiling and reinstalled the light fixture, he refused to paint the patch, leaving an unfinished look. Worse yet, when I recently changed out my lighting fixtures, I discovered that the ceiling hole was only partially patched and had been hidden behind the light fixture—an incomplete and unprofessional repair.

I initially held off on posting a review, hoping the issues would be addressed, but after repeated disappointments, I feel obligated to share my experience. I trusted Affordable Solar and Roof based on promises of quality service and reliable support. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from that, and I would advise potential customers to proceed with caution

Getting solar was super easy, affordable took the hard part out of it and we felt very confident going into this project that it would be successful. The system has already proven its self and is working great. My neighbors ask me all the time about it and I don’t have anything bad to say it is doing exactly what we were promised.

Our Senior Energy Consultant, Agon Bajrami was great to work with from start to finish! He explained everything well, answered all our questions/concerns immediately. Whenever we contacted him, he responded quickly & did not hesitate to find us any answers we needed. The installation process was fast & efficient. We are thrilled to be running our home from the sun!

I have had my solar system now for one year with the Tesla battery. Very pleased with the operation. Very pleased with the people at Affordable solor and roof and Agon my salesperson he
was very helpful and anytime I need anything he's right there when I give him a call and returns my call within 24 hours so you guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work .
