Absolutely exceptional company.
Mr. Iverson and his team of professionals replaced our old electrical panel and all breakers to codes at a price below all the other estimates. The crew arrived on time, did a great job, and spotlessly cleaned up the work area when finished. I will definitely hire this company again for any electrical repairs, and recommend them to anyone.

Had generator installed by Dave, Pinellas Generator back in January. Started off by apparently pulling the wrong type of permit after the generator was already installed. At this point we're still not sure if it is in the correct location. Dave will not show up, numerous personal excuses when he does answer the phone of why he hasn't remedied the situation. Generator still does not work. I Paid close to $15,000 6 months ago. It's pretty simple - if you screw up, you just do the right thing and fix it. I own a service business as well, that's what we do.

Had electrical work done & cameras installed in my house.

From beginning to finish they were highly professional.

I received a prompt response to both email and phone call. Anytime you call you will get somebody on the phone. I had two guys come out and give me a estimate free of charge. Afterwards, the installation went pretty well. They even cleaned up after themselves which is a bonus. They were able to work in my attic despite no floor boards.

Everything about my dealings with Pinellas Generator & Electric was perfect. Their initial response time was fast, they were able to set an appointment with me on my schedule. The technicians arrived exactly on time. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous. The work was done quickly, the price was fair, and the work area was vacuumed before they left. I could not ask for a better experience.

Just had the startup two weeks ago. Started in early July. The quality of work from PGE was excellent, electrical, gas hookup, permitting, and instruction. Big project to hook up a whole house Generac Generator. Timing was delayed through the two hurricanes we just had, and I would say 95% of that delay was from having the city hook up the gas, Clearwater Gas is not very efficient. They left a plug in the gas line on the meter when they installed it. Overall, I would recommend Dave and his crew, I will add the fifth star in a few months time.

This electric installation company has no respect for the neighbors or neighborhood in which they work. If they can’t respect the neighbors access to their driveway or mailbox, how can they be trusted to respect you as a customer.

Avoid Pinellas Generator & Electric at All Costs!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Pinellas Generator & Electric has been nothing short of a nightmare. They are the definition of dishonest and unprofessional.

Their work is riddled with serious issues, including multiple code violations. It’s clear they either don’t know what they’re doing or simply don’t care about safety and quality. When these issues were brought to their attention, they went completely no contact. They refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes, leaving me to deal with the fallout of their substandard work.

This company doesn’t just lack accountability—they also lack integrity. I deeply regret hiring them and strongly urge others to steer clear. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company that values honesty, quality, and customer service. Pinellas Generator & Electric is NOT that company.

No job to big . They do it all ,quick on quotes and getting jobs done . Staff very respectful. Gets permits and inspection done in a timely manner . Works well with other contractors on the job to keep things moving along.

From talking with Ryan in the beginning for an estimate, to having our service panel upgraded by Jason, the experience was flawless. I was impressed with how easy and efficient they made it. Not to mention they were the best price BY FAR giving me the confidence and certainty to move forward with our project. Jason was proficient and knowledgeable in his craft and remained professional and helpful throughout the entire day. You truly have an exemplary and commendable employee in Jason, which is rare in workers now a days. Hang on to that guy and compensate him well. I had PCE install a new plug for my level 2 EV charger, rework an electrical panel and install a generator intake. They scheduled the job quickly, arrived right on time and finished the job early! I had some follow-up questions about how to plug in my generator and operate the panels when on generator power. These could have been answered over the phone but Kevin Daniel — the owner — insisted on coming to my house (no charge) to show me exactly what to do. He also notices some irregularities with the manner in which my solar panels are installed. He DID NOT try to sell me on a fix — instead he said he had to speak with the state electrical contractor group to get solar installs standardized the right way. Kevin and his crew are amazing — knowledgeable, fair prices and great service. I’ll use them from now on!!!

It's always a pleasure to work with Kevin and his team. Over the past 2 years they have been out to replace and electrical panel, install new wiring, work on an electrical issue for insurance needs. Always a good experience, timely and done professionally. They are always my first stop.

Kevin from PCE recently performed work for our HOA on a unit damaged during Hurricane Helene. He was excellent! He correctly diagnosed the issue and recommended a solution that was a fraction of the cost of other vendors. Homeowner and HOA are extremely happy with results. I highly recommend Kevin and PCE - honest, hardworking and extremely knowledgeable!

Top notch professionals from the initial contact to the completion of the job. I think they are fair, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. They kept me informed and addressed my concerns every step of the way. And they even made the process fun! I highly recommend them.

George and Julio truly saved the day! My husband and I were trying to swap out our dishwasher and after realizing the hard-wire had burnt out the caps and our electric box was wrongly labeled we decided to call in some help. They were able to fit me in that day, and the team showed up even faster than expected. They were incredibly quick and professional, and even gave me some tips on a part I needed to finish the install that I wasn't aware of. (THANK YOU !!!) They were extremely contentious of time and made sure that I had everything before they headed out. I'm not sure if George or Julio read these reviews, but please thank them again for their great work!!

We have used this company a few times and would highly recommend them. From the 1st phone call with Maureen, to the estimate with Kevin, to the work done by David and Mel, all were polite and professional. We were informed the whole way thru the job and there was no mess to clean up when they left. they were here when they said they would be and the price was reasonable for the work that what done. Will be using them for all our electrical needs.

We were having electrical issues in our house and needed an electrician. I searched online. After reading about several companies, I called Pinellas County Electric. Sarah was helpful when I explained our trouble and she said she would check on schedules and would call me back with a time someone could come. She did that and we were expecting Kevin to come that same afternoon. Before he came out, he called to say he was going to call Duke Energy and ask for a check on our outside line. Kevin followed through on that, Duke Energy came & replaced something on the wire to our house. Kevin is a friendly, honest, professional who saved us money by calling Duke before he made a service call to our house. We will call Pinellas County Electric for any future electrical needs!

This was our first experience with Pinellas County Electric and it was a great one. Upon calling them, they were able to send someone out within 2 hours. Team Brandon and Brandon did excellent work and in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I called late on a Thursday afternoon inquiring about how to find out when an the mechanical Inspector would be coming out the next day and Sara took the time to look up what the inspection was for and gave me the necessary number to call on Fri morning. She also was helpful in securing an appt for an inspector to come out and look at our new electrical box. Very satisfied with my call.
