Got a call last week from a number listed as potential spam and decided to take it, but I’m glad I did. National Heating and AC Inc. advertises with free AC inspections, which is, in my opinion, a great business model. They came out to my house and everything checked out. No gimmicks or surprises. They do offer annual maintenance agreements at a very affordable cost, which ensures 2 yearly maintenance checks and waives emergency fees on same day calls. Definitely recommend these guys to any FL homeowner who wants to be prepared going into the summer!

We received a cold call to come out and review our system for free as a way to build trust. The genlteman came out to review and told us we needed a new system. Ours is old but we also know that it is not long for this world. Due to our financial standing, we have to navigate a bank loan to get our system in place. The first offer was 9k, which is reasonable. Then it was offered 6k under the table offer. I asked for an itemized list of what I would be getting. I got another call from a different sales person who said they would get me another quote but was ghosted. I have left multiple messages but no call back. I ended up going with another company.

Ethan the service tech was excellent!
He was here for a free maintenance checkup.
Nothing was found to be wrong. Made a couple of suggestions to keep AC from having problems. Changing filter, etc.
Knowledgeable, explained everything and was so nice. I signed up for a yearly service plan. Thank you!

The tech that was here was very nice and professional. Efficient. I particularly liked that he did not try to sell me anything I don't need. Fortunately he was able to confirm that my 2 year old mini split is working great and was clean. I won't hesitate to call them if I have a problem down the road.

Our technician that came out today was pleasantly well groomed and well mannered. He was well educated on both product and services as well as complemented our current system for being the best brand and that he also uses that brand in his personal home. This gave us reassurance that he stands behind the product even though he didn’t sell it to us. We appreciate that he was very upfront with us in regards to any issues he has seen any costs that might incur and the life span remaining in this unit. Being a home owner for 30+ years I am confident in saying he wasn’t here to make a sale, he was here to ensure he was helping a family be safe and make good decisions.

I was called by a sweet lady named Donna. She informed me that National was providing a FREE 18 point inspection. Who would pass up a free inspection? Mike arrived promptly in the time frame I was provided.

Mike did not want me to watch him and said I could wait inside, I assumed he would be a while to do the inspection, I did as he asked. Less then 10 minutes later he came to tell me my compressor was shot and he suggested I replace my entire system, as it would be going out soon. They provided two quotes, one for the compressor and another for a whole new system. When I asked for the 18 point inspection report I was met with, "oh umm, I don't have paper in my truck. No one has ever asked me for the report." After the 4th time I asked, he said it was online but it got deleted. How stupid do you think people are??? You called and got two quotes but you can't tell me what you did? What liars!

Donna called a few days later and asked how things went. When I told her all this she sounded appalled and said she would bring this to the owner immediately. They had a chance to make it right and they did nothing. I never heard from anyone after that.

You are ripping people off who don't know any better. May God do a work in your heart to change your ways.

When I received a call that this company would come out and do a free inspection/assessment of our Trane unit before the summer months got here, I'll admit I was suspicious. Jacob really knew what he was doing, he gave our unit a B+ rating and let us know about future maintenance, insurance their family owned company offered and did a thorough job from start to finish. He was very personable as well yet didn't over stay his welcome. The service really was free as a way of us getting to know National Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. I feel like "we gotta guy" now!! Job well done.

National Air is the best company I have ever dealt with for maintenance and new installs. I recommend them to everyone. My neighbors keep asking me where I got this new unit. This unit has its coils on the top of the unit where the lawn mowers can’t throw grass into the fins and plug them up.

Today Nick and Junior came out to repair my Ac Unit Air Handler and the Condenser the showed up on time and got to work they disconnected the unit and took apart the Air Handler pull it outside my garage cleaned cleaned it well and took out my old wooden and drywall stand and rebuild me a new metal stand and reinstalled the Airhandler and repaired wiring on the outside unit and made sure it was strapped down plus they answered all my questions as well as listened to my suggestion the clean up what ever mess they made thanks National Heating&Air I hope all your employees are as good as they were junior and Nick

Junior C was on time and was very informative. I just bought the house and didn’t really know the status of the AC unit. He gave me a clean bill of health. Thank you!

Very bad experience, Jennifer was excellent and the work that was done was good, but there finance sucks and after they did maintenance on my AC it stop working, and they have yet to get some one to come look at it.

The gentleman that came out for my work were very knowledgeable and efficient. This company replaced my very old account unit and we are very pleased with the results. It is such a relief to have a new system.

Even though the service was quick, the experience was not so pleasant. After the AC check I requested to have a UV replacement bulb installed. At the time they did not have one and would have to order it. At the end of the service, I paid for the AC check AND the replacement bulb in full. I also scheduled to have my AC vents cleaned. They said they would bring the replacement bulb when they cleaned the vents. They came to clean the vents and said the UV bulb was on backorder. After the vents were cleaned, I had to clean the debris that was left all over my floors. After a week and no bulb, I told them to cancel the order and refund the amount of the bulb. It took three weeks before I received a refund. I would NOT recommend this company for any AC service.

National Heating called me to do a random courtesy check up on my AC. Then when they got to my house they were pushy and tried to hard sell me a new AC. I said no. 2 weeks later my mother board blew up . Never had any problems with my unit before this. Coincidence?

We’ve had nothing but issues since they came out to service our AC that was working fine before they came. The only thing we needed replaced was a drain line on the exterior of the house. This has been going on since March. What i needed addressed from my initial conversation was never fixed. They replaced lines in the attic when we needed a drain line on the exterior of our home fixed. I’m not an AC person so I’m putting my trust in a company that knows what they are doing. Come home from
Vacation to my AC leaking and water damage throughout my home. Brian calls and speaks with my husband and HANGS UP ON HIM!! Worst company we’ve ever dealt with. Takes our money and won’t fix the damage they caused. We used this company because they called us, guess i should’ve saw that as a red flag.

These people are rude and cons. I bought a 3 year warranty and I had an emergency with my air conditioning. It was not running and it was 85 out of they refused to come to my house. I called 4 times starting on Friday at 6 pm. Finally a VERY rude supervisor got on the phone and said they emailed me. In my experience you don’t email a customer. I did not receive an email. They said stop calling because we are not coming out.

This company went over an above for the work due at our home an it was a completely new install of unit an airhandler in a very small attic. They were so honest in telling us we needed a whole new unit so we received 3 other estimatesthat were much more then they quoted- they didn'twanttogetin that attic. There was one cheaper but they didnt seem as honest. We had Joe an Ethan an when you say team there faces comes up, Joe was the one in the little attic an he stayed in contact while he was up there of the condition of my attic. Joe cleaned an cleared any additional debris in the attic. Did the install in 2 visit with second visit removing old insulation an installed new. I could talk all day about these guys but even the office staff Jennifer was so wonderful. I would tell all my friends to use this company for your AC they really want their customers to be happy. Great job an we are customers forever

From start to finish best AC company I have ever used. Timely, nice, affordable. The crew that came out were so friendly, professional ,and clearly good at what they do. Highly recommended!!

I responded to an offer of a free system check which was done on 11/6. My unit has been working fine with no issues prior to this service call and while he stated everything looked Ok, he recommended changing the system out as it was old and used 'hard to find' Freon, I was emailed an estimate to replace the whole system to the tune of $14,000!! Needless to say, I said "No Way!" (Meantime, he cut a hole in part of the furnace as he couldn't remove a grill and needed to take a picture of the inside. Then when he taped the hole over, he dripped the glue he was using all over my new laminate floor!! But that was the least of my worries!!)

So...Four days later when we had a cold blast, I turned on my heat...and it blew cold. I've NEVER had a problem with immediate heat prior to this company touching my unit. I immediately called them up and they sent someone else out who, in all honesty, seemed really clueless, and checked it out while being directed on the phone by a 3rd party. After this phone conversation, He had NO answer as to why it was not working. So I'm left now with NO HEAT WHATSOEVER and no recourse with this scam company unless I retain a lawyer. When I called to report this when I found I had no heat, she even mentioned charging a $125 service fee to send this second "tech" out to troubleshoot, the one who was taking directions on the phone while troubleshooting! Right there I told her NO, there was NOTHING wrong with my system before last Thursday.

Trust me, RUN DONT WALK AWAY if this Company should call to offer a "free" check of your system. I will find out what was done to make my heat stop working one way or the other.

Junior came to my house (St Pete area) to perform an ac unit check at no charge to see the performance of my unit and make sure it is running well. He was early to the appointment, kind, professional, and not "pushy" when it came to additional services and upgrades. While my unit was in good shape and didn't require any immediate service, I wanted to come here to thank them and Junior for their professionalism and service. When I do have issues with my unit, I'll be sure to reach out to them.

Everyone I dealt with was professional and kind. Junior came by for a free estimate on updating duct work (enlarging the AC return). He made sure he understood exactly what I needed done, and followed up with me to make a timely appointment. The quote for the work was well beneath what I was quoted by two other companies. Joe and team came out and accomplished exactly what I was looking for, allowing more return to my downstairs unit to keep up with our hot summers.

I was told that they were a family company in business for over 30 years and that fact stuck with me because they do treat you like family. I've worked with a few other AC companies in the area on both new installs and servicing for my units, and I can honestly say National Heating & AC has been the best.

The results have spoken for themselves and I am thankful for their help getting my duct work renovation accomplished!
