Reviews of local pros in Clearwater, Florida

I had a great experience with Discount Fence from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and easy to work with. They helped me choose the right fence for my property and completed the installation quickly and cleanly.

The quality of the work is excellent, and the fence looks fantastic. I highly recommend Discount Fence for anyone looking for reliable service at a fair price.

These folks did a wonderful job and it looks amazing! I didn't want all white so Christina suggested white posts and frames with tan panels - it looks terrific and goes nicely with the colors in the hot tub and patio stones. Communication and follow-up were spot on, all questions answered and taken care of. The install crew did a great job; fast, efficient and left no mess! Couldn't be happier. Thanks, folks!

Christina and Discount Fences did a fantastic job on my fence and new gate. They offered a fair price. Assessment and estimate were done in a timely and professional manner. They handled the prior utility checks and the crew was on time. They handled removal and build in one day and left the yard looking great!!

Discount Fence was awesome to work with from the initial quote, to the install! They actually did the work 2 weeks before the estimated installation date, and the installers were right on time. They cleaned everything up, and the fence looks great! Permitting was a breeze, too. I highly recommend Discount Fence!

Great experience from first phone call to completed install! We are so happy with our new fence!

Joe was professional and direct . He has a good work ethic and is very diligent. I like his personality. He gave me valuable information about fences. He is very detailed in collecting data.

This is the second time we have used Discount Fence!! Very pleased each time. They do quality work and make it their mission to get it right for the customer!! Billy was our installer and he did a great job. They clean up everything too!!!

WOW! What a GREAT experience we had going with Discount Fence on our fencing needs. We pulled a few budgetary quotes from others in the Largo area, all about the same but our estimator Joe is what made the difference! His professionalism, thoroughness and consultative approach made this an easy decision. Our quote was easy to read, reasonable deposit, and we left our first meeting with Joe having no questions. He covered everything and discussed next steps. Discount Fence is lucky to have Joe on their team representing their company, building relationships and delivering on all that was said. Get this guy a raise! Haha. Only negative piece I would say is at times it was difficult to get a hold of the main office. Working in telecom, Discount Fence could use a robust Contact Center/IVR to help here. The install team was very professional, fast and had our new fence completed same day and our old fence hauled away. Our neighbors are so impressed they called up Discount and Joe for a quote as well! Thanks again Joe and the Discount Fence team to a job well done and for transforming our backyard. -James, Alex, Puppy Stella

Discount Fence did an outstanding job replacing my old wood fence with vinyl. They removed and hauled away the old fence free of charge (which some companies quoted me extra to do) and had the new fence up in a day. I'm very pleased with the quality of the fence and more important the flawless install

Best experience I've had in a long time. The appraiser Joe was informative and honest. The lead installer Danato has some of the best work ethics I've seen! He is truly skilled at his job! Thank you Danato and Joe for your professionalism and hard work and thank you Discount Fence for the great price.

My new wood fence went thru 1 tropical storm, 2 floods and 2 hurricanes, and it still stands tall. The crew was excellent. They removed my old 31 panel fence and built a whole new fence IN ONE DAY!! You will be so happy if you go with them.

In a world where there is so much bull#^*+, here is an honest company that comes out quickly, gives you a fair estimate that is very competitive with the others and then comes earlier than expected to put up a vinyl fence in one day. Fence looks great. We did NOT like A1 fence (they put up a moldy wood fence and seemed to be ok with that.) We will always use Discount!

Love our new fence, Discount Fence was less expensive than all of the other quotes we received, they got it done in one day and cleaned up before they left and took the old fence with them. Completed the look we were looking for in our yard.

I've done a lot of repairs to my home in the last few years, but BY FAR, this fence has made me smile the most. We wanted 5 gates put in, including a 14' rolling gate and these guys made it happen! I love this fence, I love the workmanship, and I love that they came out and did exactly what they said they would do in the timeline we agreed on. This really was a flawless job and my husband and I extremely happy.

I want the owners to know that I appreciate how professional their employees are. From the estimate, to the installation, everyone we dealt with was professional and kind. The men that installed our fence were polite, clean, on time, and worked so hard to give us a beautiful end product. We just really enjoyed working with your company and we will make sure to tell everyone we know. Thank you so much!!!

They did a great job on my new fence. They were very honest, up-front pricing and the work is quality. Prices were extremely competitive with other fence estimates. Showed up on-time and were very respectful to my family and our property. Thank you!

Christina went above and beyond to accommodate my mom when she had an urgent need for a fence. Discount Fences has done several homes for me over the last several years. Not only is their pricing better than everyone else but, the quality of their vinyl and superior installation is what puts them over the top. Don’t hesitate to call them. You won’t be disappointed.

My initial review was a 5 star, because the fence was installed promptly and I enjoyed the representatives they sent. However, 2 weeks after my fence was installed, Hurricane Milton hit and knocked over multiple posts. I reached out to Discount Fence, and was met with zero understanding and horrible customer service. Trying to charge me an extra $2,000 to come and re-set a few posts. WITHOUT EVEN COMING TO INSPECT THE SITUATION. I had just paid Discount Fence $9,000 two weeks prior. When I brought up the hurricane warranty mentioned by the sales rep, I was met with hostility and even the threat of getting the sales rep fired, due to that being "inaccurate information".

I do not expect the repairs to be free. However, due to the recent installation of the fence, I expected management to work with me a bit. I will refer friends and neighbors elsewhere.

10/19/23.....We had Discount Fence once again to remove our wooden stockade fence in the backyard & had a white virgin fence & we also wanted a gate leading to the pond in our backyard. As usual, the workmanship was excellent, cleanup was great & the price was better than other quotes.

We needed to remove 2 wooden fences (one had posts in concrete) & have installed 6' virgin vinyl fencing with decrease in height to 42" towards sidewalk. We had a few written estimates but they just measured, write an estimate & told us it's extra to remove old fence & concrete. Well, Cean came answered our questions & concerns. We were so impressed with him. Removing the old fences & concrete was included in estimate. The workmanship was great, the men did a wonderful job. Our virgin vinyl fencing also came with a written warranty which was a nice surprise.

Highly recommended! Savannah and the crew at Discount Fences did a fantastic job with my vinyl fence installation. From my first point of contact with Christina, the service and communication was above what I have experienced with most contractors in Florida. The fence was installed perfectly and on time. Arturo even came back on Thanksgiving day to change the caps on the pickets because I preferred a different style. Look nowhere else if you are looking for a reliable fence contractor.

The initial contact, estimate, contract, permit, install - Flawless. Christina the estimator does a fine job. The crew came in (about 5-6) immediately went to work. Took no break except one fella who was on his phone the entire time, but they worked hard and were done installing 53' of fence in no time. The crew was polite and they cleaned up beautifully. The fence seems sturdy enough and of good quality. Hopefully it will last many years. It made a very nice and much needed barrier in our yard. Should have done it years ago.

Wow - we are impressed. These guys did a great job! Thank you Arturo and his team!! So many people showed up for the job. They torn down the old wood fence and hauled it away. The put up the new with engineering expertise - all the panels are level and wide. They custom made large gates for us. All this in a day - unbelievable. And, they were one week ahead of schedule. I asked if they could install a doggie window in the gate, although they had not done one before, they were willing to customize on the spot. I thought that was pretty cool although we ultimately didn't do it. Great job Discount Fence - Thank you. I would recommend you to anyone.
Even the gentleman who came out to do the estimate was professional, on time, honest and spot on!
