STAY AWAY! These guys installed 3 mini split AC's. One was the wrong size and they talked me into keeping it. I have changed over 10 fuses in the last 3 months because of improper installation. My lights keep flickering in the house when one of the AC's are in use and I run an Airbnb which they knew about! This is an ELECTRICAL HAZARD!!!!!!
They are unresponsive to my requests and I have had to contact them way too many times for issues with this nightmare they performed. Do yourselves a favor and find a qualified HVAC company and avoid this headache.

It is great these people happy with their service. May 1, 2024 I was having problem with my A/C unit. I called them. Two young man came Open the furnace panel. They said it was your Blower. Ask them to test it etc, They said they were very familiar with that brand It happens all the time. Told them this blower was replaced in year 2021. They said they were very familier with the brand they did not last. I turned off the A/C I called the company that replaced the blower. I went back forth with them. One day, I decided turn turn on the A/C try couple things, A/C started working normally. That was first week of May.Unfortunalety, I was having problems again. today. So I called the Famous Cool Air LLc come and test the A/C proparly to confirm It is the blower, checked capaciter, wiring or something. They said NO because again they are familiar with that brand (Blower) it does that. It may work again for a while (worked for 3 weeks). They dont need to do any testing. It is ridiculus to offer a diognosis based on a guess or their prior experince. They should have at least test the most common issues might have cause it. Just opening the furnace door and claiming it the blower. Not a real professional A/C technician does. Here is my response: I called the company that changed the blower in year 2021 and 2017 as I explained it to you. A/C motors should not be going bad every 3 years or so. He did not even open the panel door. If the blower is bad why does it keep working?

Living in South Florida means you have to be one of two types of people:

1. The outdoorsy, all weather, rough living type OR
2. You need a/c as much as you need food and water.

While I like to pretend to be the first type, let's be real, a/c is a necessity.

Over the last decade, I've dealt with over a dozen hvac companies for various professional and personal reasons all with varying degrees of experiences....mostly bad to meh.

Today, I was pleasantly surprised with my interaction with Famous Cool Air LLC. I was a first time caller for a residential issue.

They answered the phone, were polite, came out quickly, immediately performed the necessary repair, and were professional. That is all you can normally ask for, but what happened next was what is prompting this review. They took the extra steps to make sure they weren't just bandaiding the system. They did multiple extra tests to ensure they work would not prompt a call back. As a customer service business owner, this made me smile as so many companies don't do that anymore.

Thank you Mr. Stan and Jeff for going the extra mile. You've earned a lifetime customer.
