Contractor reviews in Davie, Florida

We had another handyman do a remove/install of a new toilet and he put in the wrong shut off valve which caused a ton of water to shoot out. We called The Trusted Handyman as referral from our neighbor. The young man that came, was super nice , knowledgeable and had fixed our valve in 15 minutes which included him looking at the valve that was installed originally, going to his van, installing the new one, turning on the main to our house and the leak was repaired. Oh, and let’s not forget, they came earlier than they told us which we were super happy about!

These professionals were very accurate and detailed with my projects. My bath tub was over 10 years old and they made it look like they installed a brand new tub straight from Home Depot. They also replaced a netted Pati fence that was torn and they did an outstanding job. Highly recommend these guys and I will be using them again for future projects.

The Trusty Handyman has been my go-to for a few years. Whether its pressure cleaning a driveway, painting a townhome , or repairing a granite countertop. I know I can count on his team
To get the job done right. Their professionalism, reliability and quality of work are second to none. As a realtor it means everything to have a dependable partner I can trust to take care of my clients. Nighly. recommended!! Camikke Burns RE/MAX.

Amazing company amazing job I WILL BE DOING BUSINESS AGAIN! I SWEAR THIS COMPANY IS AWESOME! Great price quick work great communication! Best, Jordan

The Trusty Handyman team installed a pair of ceiling fans and a chandelier in our new pavilion. It was not a huge job but they were great. On time, quick and very pleasant. Will be using them again.

I would like to start off by saying that honesty, respect, care, ethics, and integrity go along way AND not to mention the quality of work and THIS company provides all of that! ABSOLUTELY!!

I recently lost my dad and had to take on a renovation project of his condo to sell it. Both bathroom vanities needed to be redone among many other things, painting, toilets, etc. This company took care of not only the custom made vanities and installation of many things, but they also had to come in like heroes and finish a paint job from a different company that I was having issues with. That being said, this company is so very accommodating and extremely competent and I would highly recommend them! What an absolute pleasure!

They did a beautiful job!

I am planning on moving soon into a new home and you can be sure that if I need anything done, they will be at my home doing it!

Thank you so much!

We highly recommend The Trusty Handyman team. We’ve worked with them a few times now, and their entire team is amazing. Jorge, Fabricio, and their team always go above and beyond to make sure every job is done to the highest quality and with the utmost attention to detail. We’ve had them do everything from major repairs to painting and even building a backyard deck. They’re truly the best! Keep up the great work, Trusty Handyman!

I needed my shower fixed due to poor draining and possible leaks behind the tile walls. The Trusty Handyman was one of the few companies I could find that was willing to just do a shower fix without the whole bathroom remodel. They were very clean and organized and put paper down through the whole house to keep the floors from getting dirty. They discovered more issues as the demo happened but were able to fix everything quickly. Their work was detailed and professional. The results were exactly what we hoped for and we finally have a great shower with no issues.

Great company to work with. Prompt response time and making repairs. Always keep you updated on projects and appointments and are very friendly when they do. 5 - Stars!!

Very professional crew led by Fabricio, repaired spalling concrete and concrete patchwork on large commercial property. Excellent work, very responsible, and professional crew that cleaned up at the end of each day.

Willie was fantastic! He did a bunch of small projects for me - patched a hole, installed baseboards, and other small things. He'll be back when I'm ready to get extra wire shelving hung in all the closets, and to remove cabinets and rearrange them in the kitchen!

The Trusty Handyman has done many projects on our home. Communication is superb and so is their work! They are very thorough, doing walk through with us before, during and afterwards, and addressing all the little details. Our master bath was our biggest project and it turned out beautifully. Work was done with precision and done in a timely manner. Finding a handyman and good contractor who is communicative and trustworthy is hard. Look no further, you found them here!

I recently had my entire kitchen remodeled by the team at Trusty Handyman. Jorge Tomassini and his team did an amazing job paying close attention to detail. They took time installing all materials (i.e., cabinets, countertop, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to ensure it was done correctly and always double checking their work. They also listened and worked with me to do all the things I wanted to include in my design. Communication was also at the highest level. If I texted or called Jorge, he would text or call me back right away or within a few hours. I never felt I had to track him down. He is in constant contact with the working team. I trusted his team in my home and they were always careful to treat my home with respect and professionalism. If you are looking for a team you can trust to do work in your home, I would highly recommend The Trusty Handyman team.

They came out and quoted since we had many items. Angel came to do work and did great attention to detail and nice work! Will definitely use again for future projects!

Trusty Handyman has always been on time and does great work.
They give estimates with detailed work items so there is clear information on what is expected of the work to be done.

I work for a Facility Maintenance company and these guys were able to handle a last minute after hours project I presented to them. They were efficient, communicative and gave a fair price for the last minute work. I will definitely use them again!

I reached out to The Trusty Handyman on Monday the 8th around 4pm from one of my phone lines to get some work done around my house. They asked me to send pictures and a brief description of what I needed, which I did at 4:25pm that same day.

The next morning, Tuesday at 11:34am, I followed up for an update. They replied a few minutes later saying they were working on the quote and would be sending it shortly.

That was the last I heard from them.

The lack of communication and follow-through with a potential client really stood out to me. I understand companies get busy, but a simple update goes a long way. Because of that, I’m giving them three stars.

Our stunning new kitchen is completed. Working with The Trusty Handyman is a unique process, from the initial visit to our home to the completion of the project. We were carefully guided through design, products selection, and scheduling. The craftsmen and professionals who worked in our home were knowledgeable, talented and polite. Great experience from start to finish. The remodel was done on time and within budget. The attention to detail was far superior to any contractor I have used. We have found Jorge Tomasini always responsive and a pleasure to work with. We were always notified about who and what was coming when. Thumbs up for The Trusty Handyman! We would definitely recommend them.

Juan and the entire team he brought to my project were fantastic. They showed up early every day and finished a complicated kitchen remodel in just four days. The team cleaned up every evening after finishing the day’s work and kept in constant contact over text and phone calls. Their pricing is reasonable and I will DEFINATELY be using them again!

All I can say is WOW!

Juan and his team took our vision and turned our laundry room into another beautiful room in our house. The BEST quality workmanship and extremely communicative and flexible with scheduling.

Juan, Andreas, Oscar and the tiling team are hard working, highly talented and passionate. They are very attention to detail oriented and we are grateful!

Thank you so very much!!!

Called The trusty Handyman to do some partial demolishing and patchwork to some of our exam rooms on a Wednesday and by Saturday the job was done and completed. They did an amazing job. Jorge and staff were every responsive. Would definitely recommend them.
