Contractor reviews in Davie, Florida

Great experience with Sonart Construction! Steve was our project manager and made the bathroom remodel easy and stress-free. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding

I had Sonart Construction build my new house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, the team was professional, transparent, and detail-oriented. They helped me through the design process, kept me updated at every stage, and made sure the work stayed on schedule. The quality of the craftsmanship is outstanding—the finishing, the layout, and the attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Sonart Construction turned my vision into reality, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build or remodel their home.

⭐☆☆☆☆ If I could give zero stars, I would
Hiring this contractor was a nightmare from start to finish. The bathroom they delivered is so poorly done that I feel like I need to redo it entirely. They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship.
• Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage.
• Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment.
• Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas‑powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place.
• Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior.
• End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent.
Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this contractor.

Sonart Construction completely transformed our kitchen into a space we love spending time in. The team was very professional, offered great design suggestions, and paid attention to the smallest details. They worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and delivered exactly what they promised. The quality of the finishes is excellent, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend them for any kitchen renovation!

Sonart Construction did an amazing job with the room addition in our home. From start to finish, the process was smooth and stress-free. The team listened to what we wanted, gave us great suggestions, and delivered exactly what we hoped for.

The quality of their work is excellent, and you can tell they really care about the details. They were always on time, respectful of our home, and kept everything as clean as possible during the project.

My husband and I are so happy with the beautiful new space—they truly transformed our house and made it feel even more like home. We’re very grateful and would recommend Sonart Construction to anyone looking for a trustworthy company that does top-notch work

This is the third time I have had APT out to my home for a project. VK, his employees, and the subcontractors that work with him have all been incredible.
FINALLY!! A general contractor who cares enough to get the work done in a timely fashion, does the work right, and actually cares if you’re happy with the final results.

I used the Trusty Handyman for a project and was thoroughly impressed with their knowledge, communication, and quick turnaround. Juan and his team went above and beyond, providing effective solutions and completing the job efficiently. I proceeded to refer my brother and both times the experience was seamless. Juan and his team are were a pleasure to work with. They did several jobs for me at my home and at my office and one of the jobs was to repair and properly complete a job someone else that started. Their communication from the beginning through the end of the job, and after to ensure that we were happy With some thing that I had not experienced in a long time within the trades and something that I was very happy to experience this time communication is not something that most companies know how to do effectively and the trustee Handyman was awesome. Their workmanship was terrific. I cannot say Good things about experience with them from the first phone call till the very end and after highly highly recommend this company for all of your household and business office handyman needs.

Rick the handyman is a big 5 Star! He built my long awaited SHE SHED as a permanent structure It was finished quickly and Ricky gave me a lot of great ideas There's nothing he can't do! He's the most honest man I've ever met in Florida I knew he just moved here, because most handymen are way over priced, but Ricky is very dependable and extremely honest He's not out to scalp you ! I now consider him a friend He's just a very likable guy Try him! You won't be disappointed !! LHP neighbor. Mimi and Henrik Schroeder
