Called them and they came out quickly and knew exactly what to do in order to fix my issue. Mario was my tech, super smart, friendly, polite and courteous. I would highly recommend them!

They have a Groupon offer and it said ti contact them before purchasing so I went Ahead and called them and asked if they service my area and the lady said they do. I went and purchased the voucher from Groupon then the next day i called and try to make an appointment but nobody answer the phone. I called like 5 times every other day and left a voicemail but still no response . I contacted Groupon and asked for a refund.

I really recommend this company, customer service is great, they took the time to answer all my and they were fast to fix my air conditioner problem. They also have good prices. So if you need to buy a new unit or just fix you AC , contact Vortex you will be cool and happy customer. 😊🙏👍

Horrible. Came through my insurance company and the guy didn’t diagnose the AC issue nor he fixed anything. Paid $45 for nothing. If you want to lose money call them.

Yes, clearly the company knows that they will collect the money upfront so the quality of service goes down. I’ve had dealt with different AC companies through my insurance and some very exceptionally great, going above and beyond. But your company is not one of them.

They are very client oriented and responsive to all calls. They did not watch the clock and stayed until the issue was resolved. Three months ago I had a big problem with my AC and two companies came by and misdiagnosed it. I called Vortex and a guy named Mario came by, explained the problem to me and after 3 hour the problem was solved. He was very meticulous. Highly recommend them to anyone.

This is a RARE find in Florida. Believe me, I could not recommend this company more! I've send it to all my friends already who are like me: know nothing about home systems repairs! This company was assigned by my insurance after 4 different technicians had come to try and figure out the problem with my broken AC. 2 weeks without AC, I had lost hope that the Insurance would be able to send a good technician who would do a good job. I though I was going to have to pay out of pocket to get descent service. Technician came sharp on time, very respectful, he knew what he was doing, was negligent in really doing a through inspection on the system (something I had complained to the insurance before ,these technicians just wanted to charge for the visit, so no one really spent the time in inspecting it well). He found the problem (a leak on the refrigerant, just outside the outdoor equipment) in his first visit (other technicians had come 2 and 3 times and did all sort of tests and could not find where it was). The customer service was also really good: the lady is respectful and tries to work with you on your problem and urgencies (to my surprise, these companies tend to be specially awful when it comes to customer service) They worked with me to schedule the repair as fast as they could, once the insurance approved, knowing I was desperate after 2 weeks without AC.

Vortex worked an AC duct replacement. The technician was outstanding. Efficient and fast. The attic space was really tight and he was able to finish the job without opening my ceiling. Unfortunately, because of several cancelled appointments, some without notification from the secretary, and an erroneous charge which caused me back and forth hassle with warranty company and Vortex, I have to give them 3 star.

GREAT SERVICE! From the first time I called, the nice lady that answered my call was able to get a technician to come out that same day. The technician (I think his name is Oscar) was on time, and I was actually late coming back home due to traffic, and he patiently waited for me for almost an hour!! He was courteous during the entire service and was able to quickly figure out the issue and fix it all in less than 45 minutes. Today, I called the office for a receipt and description of the issue, and again the lady who answered the phone (I think her name was Karina, according to email) was very helpful and was able to get me everything I needed! Will definitely call them in future with any AC needs

I called Vortex when my AC needed to be replaced a few years ago and they have been my go-to service ever since. They respond in record time, are very reasonably priced and most importantly, very trustworthy. In these times that it is hard to know who to trust, it is very satisfying to know there are honest companies like Vortex. Give them a try, you will not regret it.

I had a new split system installation 11/14/2020. And I was very impressed with the company. Both Hector and Oscar were extremely professional and courteous. Oscar performed the installation and he cleaned up in the areas worked in. Prices are reasonable and service is top notch. The system, now 12 days later, has been working great and I am excited to see my next FPL bill. I would highly recommend VORTEX to others.

I’m a customer from Vortex for about 4 years and I’m very very happy with the professional way to attend all my requests. They installed both air conditioner in my house and every time I have any issue or maintenance request, they always answer very fast and their team are well prepared to attend it and fix the problems.

Vortex was contracted by my home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty) to resolve a problem with my condo's air conditioning unit. The drain was backing up, causing the unit to stop running and cooling. Their technician, Oscar, was here in a very timely manner and took care of the issue quickly and efficiently. In July 2024, Vortex was contracted by my home warranty company to repair our broken AC unit. Communication with their administrative staff proved challenging, and when I finally reached them, they appeared to undervalue the scope of work required due to their affiliation with the warranty company. After assessing our system, Vortex was responsible for installing a new HVAC unit and performing a complete duct overhaul to ensure compatibility with the new system’s output. However, when I requested a detailed invoice for the project, they provided only a vague document without a clear breakdown of costs for labor, ductwork, and other expenses. Despite this, we paid Vortex over $4,000 directly for the job.

Vortex failed to complete the agreed-upon work. The duct overhaul was not performed, and I personally observed air leaks in the attic space. Additionally, after installation, I had to apply AC tape to the air handler duct to address issues they left unresolved. Seven months later, when temperatures dropped in South Florida, I discovered that the installation technician had failed to wire the HVAC system for heat functionality. As a result, I had to hire another company to correct this oversight.

After having 2 other companies showed up at my home to work on the A/C only to have the unit go down again in less than 3 months, a 3rd company (Vortex) was brought in. Right away, we could see the different from the Technician standpoint. Oscar asked a lot of questions to better understand what was going on, but also what the other companies did or did not do. After a thorough inspection, Oscar determined that there were several things wrong with the unit, rather than just the backed-up drainpipe that the other 2 companies had pointed out. He then came back a few days later (as we were working through a claim with our home warranty company) and performed all the required work. He was professional, knowledgeable, and equally important, took the time to listen to our concerns. He also provided some recommendations after the work was completed to ensure we minimize the system going down so often in the future. I also have to say that the support personnel, for example Karina, back in the office was amazing. We talked multiple times, and she was patient and accommodating throughout the entire process, always keeping me informed of any potential delays or pitfalls. I will definitely recommend Vortex for your A/C needs and I will most definitely be using them again in the future whenever the need arises.

I have had many repairman come to my home over the years however never have. I had a service professional like Oscar. Oscar was a gentleman. He was thorough, conscientious, and diligent. He walked me through everything that he did explaining everything as he went along. I am going to remember Vortex and remember Oscar and when the need arises, I will call and ask for Oscar to come back! If all of the Vortex technicians are as terrific as Oscar, then Vortex is one hell of a company.

Incredibly frustrating experience. Stay away. The only thing I can assume is that they are winding up the business? - Entirely due to office mgr Karina not communicating. It took 2 weeks to get a response in the beginning, such that I gave up and inquired elsewhere. After ~10 total texts, VM's and emails, I got a response and an apology that they were busy. So I gave them another go. Exactly the same thing again, zero responses for weeks. Left vm, sent text and email saying I would give it one more day. 5 days later, still nothing. Giving up, gotta start again with Warranty company. Been a month without AC, don't know how they are in business

I needed a brand new AC system and quoted with a few companies. I ended up choosing Vortex and it went great. Karina was super helpful during the quoting process and The technician was profesional.

The system arrived when they told me and the installation was on the day they told me.
