They did a great job with our air conditioning. We just had them install our brand new Trane air conditioning system. They were professional, attentive, and I look forward to working with them in the future.

WADE came last week when the drain on the upstairs unit was leaking onto the ceiling downstairs. He came the same day. And fixed it. He came back today to service both air units. Professional and reasonably priced. I am so glad I found this company.

Al installed our whole system before we purchased and moved into our house. Admittedly, the installation and unit are mostly fine. Months later, however, we started having some moisture issues. After initially promising to come see the issue, he didn't show and then never returned or answered my calls. After weeks of trying to contact him, we called another company (one not as familiar with the system). Cool wizard of palm harbor is a much better choice if you want timely and professional work.

By far this is the most reliable air conditioner service that I have ever used. Arthur is a wonderful, prompt, and most honest man I have ever met. He is there for you in an emergency.

I thought I had a leak in the condenser and needed refrigerant and/or a replacement. Art, the owner, arrived on time and verified the condenser is fine and the drain by the handler was clogged. Huge relief ! No up-sale! Just honest business practice. Highly recommend Shade's to everyone!

I'm in the military and was gone on active duty when our AC started acting up. Wade came to the house and did an amazing job. It is such a relief to know my family is well taken care of!

After dealing with another local (shady) business I was referred to Art , due to my air not cooling. Art was quick, professional and affordable for his services. Will definitely be using Shades again when we have to replace our a/c (probably sooner than later).

Art is the most honest businessman I have ever dealt with, hands down. His goal is to help people, not take them for everything he can get out of them. I’d like to get him to service my ac every year, but sometimes he’s busy and I’m busy and we don’t coordinate it. Maybe I will try to see if I can get on his schedule way in advance, but I think he’s more into helping people with their emergencies because he helps you really fast if your AC ever goes out.

I found him on Angie’s List years ago and I’m just glad to know of an honest AC person.

Shades has worked on two units for me over the years, one old, one not so old. The service is excellent. Made suggestions for repairs that were cost effective. Takes great pride in doing the job properly and the bills are very reasonable.

One of the best AC companies in the area. I'm a realtor and have used his company for over 16 years. I have personally had 2 AC units installed. One in 2007 and the other 4/2021. His employees were professional and on time. I recommend Shades AC to anyone who is looking for a reliable company. They are the BEST.

Recently my AC stopped working. I called Shades and Arthur was out here the next morning. He said it was just a small part and charged me $65 to fix it. It is now working great. Any other repairman would have told me that the unit is shot (it is 13 years old) and that it needs to be replaced at a cost of $11,000. I would not have known the difference..

Seven years ago I was using another AC service that had the highest ratings on Angie's List and they came by when the AC system in my house stopped working. Predictably the repairman told me that the unit was shot and needed to be replaced at a cost of thousands of dollars. In order to verify this though I called Arthur at Shades AC first. Arthur came by and said there was a just small part that was broken and he replaced it for under $90. He said there was nothing wrong with the system other than that small part and sure enough, seven years later the system is still running strong.

This kind of honesty and responsiveness is extremely rare. I highly recommend Arthur from Shades AC.
