This is a wonderful little company! My AC went out but I didn't realize till about 8 PM. I was referred to Ken by a friend and he was super apologetic that he couldn't make it out immediately (remember this was late at night). He talked me through possible solutions via the phone all free of charge! When none of that fixed the AC problem, he showed up first thing in the morning and had my air running again within an hour! I believe the issue had been something to do with the compressor battery. He even pulled a disgusting dead snake out of my unit 😨! I cannot say enough about his amazing service! The honest pricing, his attitude and genuine care are hard to come by nowadays and I truly recommend Ken and Clearwater Air Conditioning!

I hate leaving negative reviews especially when contractor is a pleasant fellow. But having your entire a c system replaced is a huge expense and it requires not only pleasantness , but expertise. Unfortunately, Clearwater air conditioning does not provide expertise. Nor do they provide follow up. On the 26th of January Ken came and replace my entire AC system. We had agreed upon a price ahead of time. the guys took 12 hours and blew out the system because they did not not understand the new technology. They came back on Sunday to adjust the AC for me and I had told Ken. Something was wrong with the plug with the freezer. Because my freezer was now shocking me. Ken said his boys had gotten shocked also. But had never told me. so fast forward to Monday 29th. They come with the final part that I had to use my warranty on a brand new system. And he rushed because he was 2 hours late. I had told him I had a dentist appointment. All he cared about was the check. he never checked the plug that was live and had shocked me. EVEN THOUGH HE SAID HE WOULD. I ran out the door late to my dental appointment for major dental work and was quite flustered when he decided to charge me $300 more than we had agreed upon. He texted me many times that day. Wanting his money and I finally told him. I would pay him the original price we agreed upon.
And he gave me the finalized invoice. 5 days later, I go out and realize that I have now lost about $400 worth of frozen food in my chest freezer because the switch had turned off. He had never checked it and as I leaned over I got shocked on my freezer. I have since tried to text him. I sent him pictures of the blood all over my garage and of all the food that I have lost. He has not responded all. All I'm asking for him to do right now. Is to fix the plug and to find out why the air conditioning is shorting out my freezer and no response. I really don't know at this point in time. What my resolution will be? I will have to take it up with the city when they come for the final inspection. I would not recommend that you use this company.w up on their mistakes.

Both commercial and residential review! I have used Ken Wentz at my place of business for over 15 years! He has actually told me not to purchase something when other A/C companies told me I needed to replace it! Who does that anymore? He is straight forward and honest and won't waste your time or money!
I've also used him at my home! Love him! He is a good family man who has integrity and is honest and a very hard worker! I have referred many people to him over the years and they ALL were 100 percent satisfied!

I needed new ducts and general maintenance n my a.c. unit. The work was done in the most professional manner and finished almost a half day early. Ken, even went above and beyond making sure the vents matched my ceiling.

He came when he said he was going to and He saved me so much money after I was told by a different air conditioning company that I would need to replace my entire unit. Turns out the other guy was a scam artist and all I needed was a new compasseter. Veterans AC/Heat is great. They do excellent work and are always professional. They speak politely and directly so that we understand the status of our unit and their recommendations. We've been happy enough with their service to order a new AC unit through them. Again, the installation group was the definition of professional and we had no issues post-installation. They had the inspector out shortly after completion. I cannot recommend this company enough.
