This company repaired my master bathroom after a shower leak. They did a horrible job. The tile in the shower has a dip that never dries out. The shower head was never properly mounted inside the wall so it is loose. When I called to complain, the owner yelled at me and was astounded that I would dare to complain about “his work”. Save yourself a headache and call someone else.

I want to thank Michelle and Glk Construction for the great job on the design of my new addition. If you need a contractor I highly recommend Glk Design and Build.

If there were 0 stars that's what I would give this company. I found their website on google, where they advertise free estimates, so I called to find out about getting my shower re-done.

When the phone was answered, I explained I found their website on Google and was interested in getting an estimate. I'm not sure if the connection was bad or what, but I was then asked "what do you want" I said, "excuse me? I am trying to find out about getting my shower redone but if you don't want my business I will go elsewhere." He explained he had been getting telemarketer calls all day and how sorry he was. I'm not sure if I believe that. The vibe I got was RUDE from the get-go.

And the experience only got worse. I said I wanted to get my shower re-tiled. I was informed "You don't just take the tile down and put new tile up, you have to get a plumber for the drain, the shower pan, the backboard, etc" I said "I understand that, I am looking for an estimate on the whole job."

He said "about $6,000." And as a 23 year old, new homeowner, I do not know prices on things like this but was surprised at the response because I know someone who just had their whole bathroom re-done for $4,000. He said "I'm not going to argue with you, I've been doing this for 45years." and then I was HUNG UP ON. I tried calling back and was picked up then hung-up on.

As a business owner, shouldn't you be trying to get new business, not repelling away customers??? And hanging up on them?

Surely taking my business elsewhere. so RUDE!

The GLK crew are the BEST. They know what they are doing and are very professional. The right way or no way for them! It has been a pleasure having them work on my house.

I had a crack in my wall that was allowing water in every time it rained. GLK got it fixed fast and took preventative measures to stop it happening elsewhere. Gary did a great job in repairing it and I will use them again

I had GLK construction do a kitchen for one of my clients. They did a fantastic job, as good if not better than us. I did not know we had that kind of competition in ft. Lauderdale. There good!!!!

GLK CONSTRUCTION, where do I start....They are a 10☆ in every possible way. I had the interior of my home renovated from new flooring to painting and everything in-between. I am very blessed to have stumbled upon Gary @ GLK. Going thru a renovation is never easy.....Gary, his crew and sub contractors are AMAZING in every aspect; affordable, knowledgeable, efficient and timely, in every aspect of construction' from the ground up! The word "can't" isn't in his vocabulary. Your vision will become reality. The end result exceeded my expectation in everyway. I'm beyond greatful and highly impressed with the final results (and I have very high standards.) If you want it done right the fist time, down to every last detail, then GLK construction is your go to company!! I can't tell you how pleased I am with my decision to go GLK!! Thanks! In Florida, it is very difficult finding a quality general contractor. My experience with Gary was amazing. He is honest and does great work. This was a total demolition and renovation; huge job. I am totally satisfied!

Gary is the best! He just completed one bathroom remodel and the construction of a new walk-in closet for our master bedroom. We have an old Florida home and Gary is our go-to guy for remodel ideas - he is knowledgeable and experienced and hands-on - comes in on price and is fair and loyal. I can't say enough about him and his guys. He is moving forward on our master bath remodel/expansion and then the kitchen - perhaps that is as best a recommendation I can give! My husband and I highly recommend Gary for any type of remodel/construction work. We wouldn't use anyone else here in the Fort Lauderdale area!

GLK Construction has been a tremendous find. My husband and I have been looking for an honest and reputable company to build a deck off of our second story to replace an old dilapidated existing deck for at least 3 years. We have had a terrible time finding someone that can tackle this task until we found GLK. We are extremely happy with the quality and workmanship of our finished deck but most importantly we found a company that we can trust. Gary, Lewis, and Michelle were a pleasure to work with. They kept us well informed of the status and plans of the project. The final invoice was right within the initial bid, even a little under budget. I highly recommend this company. Without a doubt, we will be using them for future projects.

My wife and I recently bought a new home. We decided a few moderate renovations would greatly enhance the livability of our new house. A new pantry, fireplace and entertainment center were among the first improvements we sought to make.

Our engagement with GLK from start to finish was a first class experience.

GLK not only helped us better design our projects; at no extra cost but assigned highly skilled craftsman to perform the work. A specialist for each project's needs was assigned including a mason, finish carpenter, acoustic expert and electrician.

The projects were completed in a timely, clean, cost efficient and professional manner. All workers showed up on time and were very considerate of our living conditions during the completion of the work. A project supervisor was always available to answer any questions that came up and to assure the work was being completed to GLK standards.

Needless to add we were very pleased with our selection of GLK and would recommend them to anyone in need of any construction or renovation services.

GLK did a large timber pool deck for me several years ago and I was delighted with the outcome. They are very responsive, responsible and efficient. Recently I had a couple of upgrades required and again, I had the same experience. They responded quickly, did a terrific job and charged a very reasonable price. This is a really great firm!
