I decided I wanted to spend a lot of money on a top of the line Amana inverter based multi stage high efficiency ac unit and started shopping for local vendors who sold Amana. Cool running air was local to me and seemed to have great reviews. Gave them a call and Romi was at my house the next day to provide a quote and tell me all about the different options and features that the unit would have. He gave me a really good price on arguably the best AC unit money can buy down here in South FL for maximum efficiency and energy savings. They scheduled me for the following week and their crew was there first thing in the morning to get the install done. The team is fabulous and knowledgeable and when we had a small issue with the thermostat Romi reached out to his contact at Amana who was there later in the day in person to help us resolve it. Post install service is important to me especially when spending so much for a unit and they don’t disappoint. Yami and Janice specifically who I believe are the office managers who coordinate with Romi and the crew were amazing in getting me taken care of when I had some issues with drain line backups that caused the AC to shutdown. More recently, my synthetic lawn install company purposely clogged the drain line during install and caused my system to backup while I was on vacation. Yami and Janice took my calls at any hour of the day and made sure the crew would be out to take care of it for me. I would wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to cool running air and please let them know you saw Daniel’s review on google so they can give you as good a price and service as they have given me. A+++

Came out 3 times and a/c still broken. Charged me for replenishing freon twice, even though the fact that it leaked out was their fault. Freon not cheap at $496 for 8 lbs. Asked about this 2 days ago and haven't received a response yet. Overall not satisfied at this time.

Transparency for the post to satisfy the response by the company: Unit is from 2013 (9 years old), not 2010 as they stated, and had zero problems prior to this. Came on 7/15, told me I needed to clean my a/c coils (if my A/C needed replaced, why did you charge me almost $700 to clean it when it needed to be replaced?) I could have used that money, as well as the money I spent the 2nd time you came (on 8/2, charged $496), for a new unit. 3rd time they came they stated that the outside heat exchanger is very degraded, and has a leak. It would've been good to know that the 1st visit, not after I spent $1700 with you ($700 to clean, $500 the 2nd time, and $500 the 3rd time). Do you now understand my dissatisfaction?

I hired cool running because my a/c was blowing hot air. I was HIGHLY impressed with their customer service and professionalism. They sent a technician over right away and he resolved the problem at an affordable price.I DEFINITELY recommend this company for all your a/c needs. 10 stars !!

Cool Running had great service from beginning to end. My AC was not blowing cold air, air was escaping and it also needed a cleaning, now it’s running beautifully and the apartment finally feels cool inside, and all fast thanks to them! The guys who came in were very cooperative when I requested they put bags over their shoes before coming inside, and both had their masks on properly, very professional and made the service comfortable even through times of covid. Yami was excellent at communicating with me and keeping me informed at every stage. I love how this company includes photos and detailed paperwork of everything which makes my life so much easier when passing on the info to my landlord. Thank you Cool Running team!

Fantastic customer Service (Yanette great job!). They came out to my house next day early morning at 9:00 am. The owner (Rommy) and the tech guy (I'm sorry, but I did not remember his name) cleaned the duct and vents very well done. They were very professional and explained every single steps before done. I needed a new AC unit and shopped around with 5 different companies. I chose Cool Running Air because they were the most professional and trustworthy of the bunch. They were on time and always did what they said, which is rare for a contractor here in South Florida! From beginning to end their process was painless and seamless. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends, family and business associates!

A couple months ago I had Cool Running a/c come out and install a mini split I had purchased elsewhere. I was quoted a price where I thought was a little high but it’s worth paying to get a professional install. The technician who came out had a bad attitude. I thought maybe it had to do with not purchasing the unit from them since he was bad mouthing the unit I purchased but whatever install the unit and go. I have to admit he did do a good installation. The unit worked fine after. I bought the unit to have secondary cooling in my bedroom. So, I only used it at night. The past couple days it has been extremely hot so I’m using the unit more. The unit started to leak. I called Cool Running, and they said that they would send out a technician. On the day of service, the technician called me before arriving and advised that there would be a maintenance fee. I advised that the unit was only installed a couple months ago that it had to be something that happened in the install. They insisted that it was a blockage, and I would have to pay a maintenance fee. I argued that I only used the unit at night and the filter was completely clean from factory. The technician started to get insulting. I called the office, and they insisted as well on the blockage response. I told them since that was their response, I did not want their service. Without any choice I started to check the system myself. I wanted to see if I could blow air up the drain line to see that that would break the blockage. I tugged on the drain line, and it was loose. With that the piece connected to the PVC elbow came out and all the water in the system came out. I looked in the PVC elbow and noticed there was a plug cemented inside the elbow. Now why would there be a PLUG inside a PVC pipe? To plug up the line. So that water does not pass. Eventually the water would back up into the system and start leaking like it was before. WHY WAS THAT THERE? The only word in my limited vocabulary I can think of is Sabotage. Why would a business or a technician do that? To ensure that I will be calling soon for maintenance or repair not to mention the dry wall around the unit is saturated by the water from the leakage. To get more money from me! I called their office to let them know what I found. The person I spoke to sounded semi concerned. So, I sent her a picture of the PVC elbow since the PLUG was CEMENTED inside the Elbow. Wow the technician really went out of his way to install that PLUG! The office said they would send someone out. I said don’t bother. I fixed the problem, and I don’t trust COOL RUNNING A/C! I’m afraid they would come out and do some other SCAM! THE QUESTION IS HOW MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE THEY DONE THIS TO? BUYER BEWARE! As for the Technician, I hope you find your happiness. Update. The reason for Blockage was your technician rigging my system to break. The plug your technician put in the drain line was glued. Meaning that it was done intentionally! I never threatened anyone but its OK for your technician to disrespect me with his toxic language. Yet you wanted to send the same technician that TRIED to scam me. By plugging my drain would have leaded to my new system to break down completely. Then i would have had to purchase i new unit. If I am correct that is called FRAUD! i fixed the problem and it was to change the PVC elbow that he put the plug in. That cost me a dollar. The system is draining fine now. What you did, and i say as a whole you and your technician. WAS WRONG! Scamming your customer is LOW! You Got Caught!

Update: I checked my records and it seems that I wrote a review on the wrong company. I dealt with various companies during a short period and due to not having a good outcome with two of them but the third one finally set me up with a good AC. I checked my invoice and it seems my review should of been directed to "American Freezing Point" which was the company that tried to charge me for a coil cleaner in top of the 120 they did for just looking at it. Sorry Cool Running Air that was my fault but no my reviews are not scams. Just had a horrible experience with a handful of AC companies until i found two that finally fixed it for me. I also replaced air ducts which not all AC companies service hence the reason i spoke with more than 1 AC company plus i was shopping around for quotes for a new Carrier AC. I actually did not get serviced from you i think i just called in to ask for a quote but never got it so sorry about the review. Once again looking at the invoice my bad review should of been to American Freezing Point LLC.

Another great service performed by Cool Runnings Air! Romelio, the tech and his assistant evaluated the situation and determined that 2 other items had gone faulty with our A/C. They provided us with new parts and installation. Our A/C works great and just in time for this exhausting heat!
