Constraction reviews in Jacksonville, Florida

Extrodinary professionalism. A storm ripped our screen door off on our home in Arlington area of Jacksonville, destroying the hinges. Dave replaced a it for me in just a few minutes. Opens and closes perfectly now. He cleaned everything up and even took the trash with him. Outstanding!! Cant wait for his next job for us building a wheelchair ramp. Fair pricing, no games or gimmicks. So hard to find honest folks these days. If that's what you are looking for dave is your man.

Very pleased with the work the team did at my home. Replaced the screens and did the leg work to connect me with a painter.

Dave and Justin were AMAZING prompt, responsive, and very professional. I would highly recommend them for all your handy man projects.

David did a fantastic job on our door. He was very open with communication and kept us up to date with progress of the work he was doing. Our door is actually in better condition than it was before and he was very professional. I would recommend him to anyone and use his services again.

They did a fantastic job replacing studs and siding due to termite and water damage! Timely response, reasonably priced, kind company to work with. Would recommend and work with again!

Title: Excellent Handyman Service by The Neighborly Handyman in East Arlington, Southside

I recently had the pleasure of hiring The Neighborly Handyman to help with several home repairs, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. Living in the East Arlington, Southside area, I was in need of a reliable handyman, and The Neighborly Handyman exceeded my expectations in every way.

Dave, the handyman who assisted me, was not only extremely knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and courteous throughout the entire process. He demonstrated a high level of expertise when it came to repairing my mailbox and ensuring that the 20-year-old jasmine vines surrounding it were saved in the process. His attention to detail and care for my property were truly commendable.

In addition to the mailbox repair, Dave also helped me install a high light fixture and a ceiling fan, both of which required precision and skill. He completed the tasks efficiently and with a great deal of professionalism. Furthermore, Dave went above and beyond by fixing a broken white panel fence gate. These guys can do it all!

What impressed me the most about The Neighborly Handyman was their responsiveness. From my initial inquiry to the completion of the job, communication was seamless and timely. Dave was always quick to respond to my messages and was accommodating when scheduling the repairs.

Overall, I highly recommend The Neighborly Handyman for anyone in need of reliable and professional handyman services in the East Arlington, Southside area. Their expertise, courtesy, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. Thank you, Dave, and The Neighborly Handyman team, for a job well done!

Very professional and punctual. Installed a Final screen door on our aluminum framed lanai, Not the easiest task, but they got it done!

Will definitely use again and recommend.

I paid David to install a set of attic stairs and a ceiling storage rack. The rack collapsed onto my garage door and David has been unresponsive. I found that some of the bolts were not secured properly into the studs and he didn't install all of the hardware provided with the kit or tighten some of the key bolts that are used to support the bulk of the weight load. Very poor job to say the least and very dangerous having a 4x8 foot rack metal not properly secured suspended from the ceiling. Pictures provided.

Dave and Justin did great work fixing the wood rot on the side of my home. They communicated the full extent of the work, completed the work quickly and the results are seamless. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love our front porch! David did such an amazing job! Far exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond! Highly highly highly recommend!

David and Justin did a great job replacing my mailbox. They gave a reasonable quote upfront, discussed any potential scenarios that might warrant a re-evaluation of the quote, and completed their work within the timeframe they estimated. They even offered to dispose of my old mailbox. Would hire again.

David did an excellent job building three railings on my porch! Their work is exceptional and I’ll be using them for a lot more! Extremely reliable and their work is perfection!

Dave and Justin did an excellent job installing carpet-to-laminate thresholds in our home. They worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and offered their services at a reasonable price. They'll be the first people I call when home contract projects come up in the future.

Dave and his partner were spectacular. We had some rot on both sides of our garage and some rot on our second story window. Dave was able to accomplish both! Everything was straightforward, and he was even kind enough to clean the area before they left. This was rare, as many contractors I’ve experienced leave their trash everywhere. We will definitely be using them again soon! Very professional at painting too, everything looks coherent A+++

I highly recommend Dave and Justin as carpenters and general handyman services. This includes larger jobs such as tearing down and rebuilding my porch. Originally the job was to tear down the wood frame with the exception of the main support beams and rebuild, paint and screen the porch. Once the main beams were exposed it was discovered these also had rot at the base and needed to be replaced along with a small rebuild of the concrete/brick floor. I agreed to the change in price due to increased job scope and the work proceeded.

The porch they built is more solid than when I moved in 20 years ago and is beautiful. Dave was very responsive to texts and questions I had along the way. He would let me know when they would arrive and they left their working space tidy each day. I’ve had some bad experiences over the years and I am happy to find reliable, quality driven business owners/workers in Dave and Justin. They will definitely be getting more work from me.

Guys were super friendly and professional. They didn’t take long to assemble my furniture and ensured I was satisfied with the services before leaving. What an amazing team of professionals! I highly recommend! I will be booking again soon!

I had the pleasure of having work done by Dave and Justin today, and may I say I wish I could give these gentleman more stars than 5 because they were AWESOME. The quality of their work, speaks volumes to me, Dave and Justin kept in communication in regards to their travel and arrival time as I was not present for the when some of the work was being done. In addition, the level of integrity is like a breathe of fresh air to me very professional, straight forward, and understood exactly what I was requesting to be done on my property. I plan on calling upon Dave and Justin again for future projects.

The Neighborly Handyman completed our project of removing and replacing the bulkhead along the marsh side of our property. The workers were communicative, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They did an excellent job. We highly recommend this business. Photos are before and after.

Fantastic job on our mailbox replacement! Dave arrived on time, and started with the project right away. It was done efficiently, professionally, and with great attention to detail. Everything’s sturdy, perfectly aligned, and looks great! He communicated everything clearly from start to finish, and the area was left clean afterward. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing quality installation work. Kudos to Dave for a job well done! 😊 🙌🏼

Sweet dreams
