Home Depot gets worse and worse. Less people in the aisles to help you find what you need. No cashiers upon checkout. Forced to use self checkout which I refuse to do and with an attitude they opened up one register that quickly filled up in a line of people

My wife and I were in Home Depot last month looking at carport for a very large family Room and master bed room. HD advertised installation included. Said they would move furniture, remove old flooring and haul it away and install new carpet. Told them we had a floating laminate floor in family room would they take that up.? Was told yes. So we ordered over $5000 worth of carpet.

A couple of weeks later, I get a call saying the installers would be at our home between 10AM and 1PM. About 2PM an old ford van with a couple of rolls of carpet on the roof pulls in my driveway. Two Mexicans or Guatemalans get out who cannot speak English very well and go in the house, one of them does a double take and says no can do. We only move 6 piece of furniture. So I look at my contract and it says remove floating hard floor, but then I notice I was charged over $1000 for this. Damn, probably take maybe 2 ours for 2 guys to take up that floor. $500 bucks an hour labor?

Then one of them starts taking pictures. Doesn't ask me for permission or anything. Then they leave.

Did I mention I took off work for this!
I even boarded the dog at a kennel so he would not be in the way.

Made the 1st payment on this carpet.

My house is a mess, still don't know what Home Depot is gonna do about this.

If you need carpet, maybe check with Lows or Sears.

I have been to 2 Home Depot's, and this one has great customer service. Tina, who is helping with Curbside Pickup, is so nice and courteous. She was prompt and got us our order quick. 10/10

Today (5/10/25) I have just wrongly bought lumber wood - by feet price and cut into two pieces. Actually, I am going to buy a cheaper wood by each - price.

I told to customer service and this site manager “Curtis” refuse to return. So I take wood anyway. The experience I deal with manager at customer service was awful.

Great service at home Depot for everything. Do you need it and home improvements or quick fix do-it-yourself items?

Since they sprayed (foaming) our restaurant, the bill dropped down and we higly recommend them to everyone's. I also used them for my house.

I wanted to save some money on my utility bill, thinking even $10/month will add up. After meeting with the owners and them taking their time explaining the process, as well as answering ALL my questions, we agreed upon the work that needed to be done. I'm so happy to say that my savings is an average of over $30/month and what a great investment in case one day I decide to sell as it raises the value of the home!! If I could give ten stars I would! I had all new insulation blown in my attic last Friday, and the temperature difference in my house was immediate. Our AC has been struggling to keep the house at 80°, running for hours straight without shutting off. Now, our house stays at 76° and barely has to even turn on even in this horrible heat. My experience with the owner and staff was also wonderful. They were very prompt and communicative and arrived exactly when scheduled. I will recommend Camille and his business to everyone I can. Absolutely fantastic!!

I needed insulation added to my attic and boy does it make a big difference in the utility bill. The Green Energy Builders crew were very quick, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely use again! Highly recommended!

I had Ron come out after a tech from another company said I needed a new system. Ron was actually referred to me by a coworker that had a great experience.

He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty circuit card that was causing my emergency heaters to be on all the time, and rewired the system so I could bypass the emergency coils (not needed here in FL anyway). It's fine to run the way it is now but the part could be replaced in the future if I wanted. Any other service tech that may have been able to diagnose the problem would have certainly forced a replacement on me. I was only charged the diagnostic fee and the labor time to rewire the unit.

Now I refer Ron to all my friends, it's hard to find a tech that will actually do the proper troubleshooting!

Ron was referred by a friend after I had a different AC company come and give me an outrageous repair quote and pushed a full unit replacement. Ron fixed and adjust parts that the other company told me could only be replaced and then replaced every other thing on the other company’s repair list along with adding refrigerant and even doing more than what was on the other company’s quote. Many of the smaller things that he did never showed up on my bill. The repair went from $2300 from the other company to $375 and my AC is as good as new. Highly recommend!!
