A/C broke down when temp outside was rising. I called whoever can come out the quickest and Chase came out that same Friday afternoon. They came in and out fast and resolved our issue in less than 30 minutes. Good job.

Called Chase Air over 1 year ago. They are prompt, courteous, and competitively priced. One year later, everything is working great! I would not hesitate calling them again.

Very happy with Chase Air. Very honest and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. This was my first time having them out since I was so dissatisfied with my old AC company's service. I can say that Chase Air is my new AC service company. I even gave cards to all my neighbors. Thanks Chase Air!!!

I have used Chase for 10+ years and they have kept my 15yr old units running perfectly. They have a terrific work ethic, are very honest, reliable and respond quickly. What more could a happy customer ask for!!

Mike was professional and courteous. His performance and knowledge was very good. However, after reviewing the checklist provided by Chase Air on their website Mike did not perform all facets of the checklist. He did not even have a copy of the checklist to go by. Some things he missed....He did not level out the condensor units or comb the coil fins as needed. I recall expressing my concerns for these items and he advised that it would be best to leave them alone as to not cause any further damage to the units. If fixing these items as a professional and as per the checklist will cause further damage then why offer them? I am disappointed that I paid for a FULL cleaning and tune-up service and did not get the FULL cleaning and tune-up service per the checklist.

For two years Charles and his team at Chase Air have maintained a 10-year old inefficient York system that was mismatched and jury-rigged by another HVAC contractor. Then in April 2014 it was time to evaluate our options to put in a more efficient system. The old metal duct installed by the builder over 30 years ago was coming apart and the insulation was deteriorated. We decided to get several bids for replacing the entire system including duct and adding insulation to the attic to R-38. Getting estimates from the large HVAC contractors to the smaller independents, the quotes were all close in price, but that is were the similarities stopped. Having family in the HVAC business gave me an advantage of weeding out the garbage quotes and work descriptions. only two companies out of 11 different quotes came close to describing a quality job. Because Charles was the only bidder that would listen to the customer and design an R8 vs R6 duct system along with a balanced return air system, is the reason we selected Chase Air for the install.
We were extremely impressed with Charles and his team. Very professional. They made quick work on removing the old system and duct work. They were very careful to protect our home and do the work safely. They always arrived on time, brought their own lunch to minimize any no-work periods, and always cleaned up the work spaces at the end of the day. A little more than 2 days work completed the job
Now one year later, the dual stage Bryant system is still working great. It is quiet, clean and efficient. The air flow is balanced and the return air is taken from all parts of the house instead of a couple of wall cavity returns. We no longer have hot and cold spots in our home. My electric bills are more reasonable and the unit doesn't need to cycle often because more of the conditioned air is retained. The smart programmable thermostat is great too.
Thanks Chase Air for a job well done. -
Chase Air did a great tune up on my A/C. Opened, checked, cleaned the air handler and resealed. Reconfigured the drain pipe. Chemically cleaned the drain pipe. Opened the outside A/C unit cleaned & checked. The service man and a half were professional, polite and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with their work. They did not try to sale me anything extra.

I have been using Chase Air now going on 8 years. They are very reasonable and honest which is a very hard quality to find in an HVAC company. Chase Air installed my A/C unit my rental property and they just installed a minisplit(ductless A\C) in my office on 4/17/14. I received a few quotes from other companies including Home Depot and Lowes and they were close to 10,000.00. Chase Air worked with me to make sure I was purchasing what I actually needed vs what I thought I needed since they are the experts. Mike and William were terrific they always go above and beyond. After the install they made sure I understood how the unit worked and that I felt comfortable with all of the controls and options. There service and expertise is superb and I would never go anywhere else for HVAC services. Also Derick is pleasure to talk to when you call in to for service or installation.

I've been using Chase Air for about 8 yrs now. They have replaced a whole system and have done multiple maintenance items on my other systems. The one thing that stands out is that they take the time to talk about the problem on the phone and make sure it's not something I can fix first. That speaks highly to how the business is run. Always looking out for the customer. For this reason they are the only AC/Heating company I use.

Have used Chase Air for years and highly recommend them. They are air conditioning experts, but more importantly they are good and honorable people who truly practice the Golden Rule. They have promptly come to the rescue twice now when our A/C stopped working, and the second time they did a temporary fix to help it last until they could replace the unit. Within days, they replaced our old AC/heat pump with a higher-quality, much quieter one for FAR less than we had paid for the original one 12 years earlier from another company! Margie and Bob - Jacksonville.

My A/C which was only 6 years old when it began not cooling well and leaking freon. It was installed by McGowan A/C and I called them twice for repairs. After a week of no response from McGowan, I called Chase A/C (who was recommended by a friend) and they came the same day we called; fixing the issue the next day. The unit had a bad a coil which was a rarity on this type of a/c unit. Chase was professional, courteous, and expedient which I greatly appreciated since I had a medical situation at the time and heat intensified my condition. Oh, McGowan did call back, three weeks later saying they had missed the service call. Chase A/C will definitely get all my future business.

Until last week I would've said 4.5 stars. Now I'll say 3.5 but since there's no option for 3.5 and I'm quite displeased at the moment I'll round down.
Chase Air replaced our interior and exterior A/C units seven years ago. They did their job well as far as our untrained eyes can tell and within a reasonable time frame. Since then we have used them for A/C maintenance every so often and service as needed and they are always on time and friendly. Until last week my only complaint is that once they overfilled the freon and had to come back and fix it when our A/C stopped working again.
Last week, however, we had a bad experience with a ridiculous overcharge for something that we only had them do based on the tech's suggestion even though we didn't really see how it could be related to the problem and it was something we could do ourselves for under $50. We contacted them immediately on finding out about the overpriced item but they apparently had no desire to allow us to return the item despite our offering to return it right to their office immediately. That is pretty darn bad customer service.
Therefore, I recommend that if you are going to use Chase Air, don't trust that their otherwise high ratings mean they are fair or forthright. Make sure to find out how much everything costs, item by item, before you even have them out. **Make sure you see an itemized invoice before having them do any work.** Apparently they won't let you return anything even immediately and if you do all the work. If you fail to do any of this you may be in for an unnecessarily expensive surprise like we were, and they will not let you make an immediate return.
This has left a surprisingly bad taste in our mouths and we are no longer planning to use Chase Air for our A/C needs. Chase Air - I guess you're going to keep our money but you've lost our business and our recommendation. -
Quick response and outstanding customer service had our AC up an running again in no time.

I've been using Chase Air for years and they are the best there is...period. I found Chase Air years ago after two other AC companies couldn't figure out how to fix the upstairs unit or get it to work sufficiently. These same companies were more than happy to charge me for the visit, recommend a swap out or explain why further attempts to fix the unit would cost so much so we left the upstairs unit to limp along. When we were faced with relatives coming in for a visit I decided to give it one more shot and called Chase Air. Charles is the owner and he was not only able to figure out the issue but really impressed me because it took a huge amount of expertise and time that none of the other firms could come close to. The cost for the service received was more than fair. Over the years Chase Air and Charles have come to my rescue and ALWAYS make me feel like a valued customer. Charles has come out and not charged me for the temporary fix that kept us comfortable till he came back with the parts for the permanent fix, works through the warranty for my units and has saved me more money and aggravation than I can recount. When the downstairs unit started to fail he didn't do the hard sell on the swap out but it made sense to me. I asked why he didn't suggest the swap out more and he said that some customers feel its an up-sell so he prefers to just lay out the options and let them decide. I did my homework on the swap out and the cost was more than fair but the over the top level of service afterwards makes it an amazingly good deal.
Last night the upstairs unit stopped working. I texted Charles during dinner time and he went out of his way to help me when he didn't have to. Try getting customer service like that anywhere else. Companies and people like Charles are impossible to find. If you need AC work done, get Chase Air .... you can thank me later. -
Charles was very professional and came to my house promptly and on time. He reviewed my options with me. I elected to have a new air handler and heat pump installed because my old unit was 20 years old. He came out the next day and installed it. It only took him around 3 hours for the enter job. The entire time while he was working he kept his work area very tidy. Afterword he showed us how to use the new thermostat that came with the system. Great service and a great price. He installed a very high-quality name brand unit that is ultra-quiet. The AC is working awesome. Chase heating and Air-conditioning has exceeded my expectations on every level.

Chase Air had performed some maintenance in the past and I was very pleased with their work, so I called to get an estimate on repair work. They were, by far, the most fairly priced out of 7 companies I called. The technician arrived on-time, was very pleasant and professional. I will definitely use their services again.

Just unexpectedly had to have my AC unit replaced this week and Chase Air did a great job! It wasn’t a fun situation to be in as a first time home owner, but I felt like I was in good hands with this company. I had previously been using another company that I was happy with, but they were completely booked when I needed them. When I called this company they arrived within an hour when it was already late afternoon and they had a unit installed just a few hours later and much faster than I anticipated. I will happily continue to use their services although I don’t anticipate needing to as they seem to do high quality work (without charging an unreasonable amount). I highly recommend them for any future services you might need.

Charles was prompt, courteous and professional. He arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. He had the parts needed on hand and was able to get the house cool again within an hour. I felt he was honest and trustworthy, he didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need.
I know every situation is different and depending on who and when you call they may not be able to get there immediately, but in my case Charles was Johnny on the spot and saved the day,
I would have no problem recommending Chase Air Heating and Cooling.
Thank you very much! -
I had a positive experience with Chase Air several years ago and decided to call them again when my AC stopped cooling on a hot day. The technician, Craig, arrived on the same day at the time promised. He was personable, knowledgeable, clean, and thorough, and quickly inspected my system and replaced my faulty dual capacitor for a reasonable price. We discussed other services offered by Chase, but he was not at all pushy, and he mentioned that he enjoyed working for the company. I will definitely be calling Chase again!

This guy has a problem with being professional or polite.
I used Charles before to install a system on a house I owned and he did a very good job, I also used him to service that unit.
A few years later I called him to service a unit at another house i owned in Jacksonville and he gave me a story about the tenant giving him a hard time at the previous house giving him a hard time and that he didn’t want to work there.
I explained that I had sold that house and was unaware that he had any friction with the tenant, I expressed my regret. He went to my other house, serviced the unit and I paid him. The repair was fine.
Fast forward some 18 months and the system at the house I own had a problem. I called Charles and asked if he could come and look at it. He said he would call me back which he did.
He took an unbelievable attitude over the phone when i asked him the cost of the service call.
“Three million dollars” I said seriously what was his service fee.
“$165 just to get my truck in your driveway buddy” I asked if any of that would be applied to the cost of the work and he seemed to lose. He reverted to his resentment over whatever the tenant and he had clashed over 15 years ago. Telling me that he doesn’t do bait and switch like other companies and this conversation was not profitable for him. He then pretended to have a call coming in and hung up.He missed out on a $1000 repair.
The work he did for me was always satisfactory but he needs to keep up on his meds and improve his professionalism or cut back on whatever it is that made him act that way.
I don’t know what his problem is and I have no intention of finding out. There are too many professional HVAC contractors around it you know how to look. -
We’ve been using Chase Air since 2010, ever since Charles installed a new ac system. Honest, fair and a pleasure to do business with. Alway quick to respond when we have a problem and always reasonably priced. No one better!
