COOL R US did a great job communicating and putting everything in writing for our HVAC replacement. We replaced an older system with a Trane 4-ton heat pump setup (5HPL5 condenser + 5TEM6 air handler) and they were very clear about what was included: permit, surge protectors for indoor/outdoor units, new pad and disconnect, drain safety float switch, filter rack, duct stand, and full system start-up/testing.

Josh was responsive and answered all of my questions in detail (labor warranty, parts warranty, lineset testing/reuse policy, permit inspection process, and Trane registration). I also appreciated that they registered the equipment with Trane and provided the warranty confirmation.

I worked with Josh Conway to purchase a new HVAC system for our townhouse. Josh was able to answer all of our questions and even threw in an option if we would be able to install the unit the same week. Our installers knew what they were doing and worked all day with only a short break for lunch. They cleaned everything up and the system worked fine when they left. My geothermal system stopped working and it caused the water pipes in the basement to burst. I called different HVAC companies in Jacksonville that work with my home warranty, but no one could come until much later. My mother is 86 and has serious asthma, and the weather was getting extremely hot. Not having water made things even harder. He also made sure to install a goodman evaporator coil that works with both r-22 and the newer refrigerant, which is great for future flexibility. Living in florida, it gets super hot, so having a reliable and honest hvac company matters a lot. I'm really happy with the work and the honest advice. finding trustworthy people for ac repairs isn’t easy, but i’ll definitely call them again if i need anything.
