Landscaping reviews in Jacksonville, Florida

HORRIBLE WORK ETHIC, HORRIBLE QUALITY!
-
The absolute worst! Never choose this company for your landscaping needs. They completely destroyed our landscaping and did not comply to any contract stipulations. You’ve been warned.
-
These workers do a great job! Tristan I believe his name was, did an exceptional job!!
-
I have asked several times for the lawn cutters not to cut my lawn. I do it myself. Just after I cut it, they recut my lawn. I have spoken to both supervisors who stated that they will inform their guys not to cut but still continue to cut my lawn
-
Left their trash all over my yard. Tried to call, but no one answers and you can't even leave a voicemail because their mailbox is full. GREAT business practices over there at brightview.
-
Sorry for the inadvertent review. Our HOA uses Bright View and overall very satisfied! Fred and his crew do a great job. Colin and Billy are responsive to Community's concerns.

My HOA uses this company to maintain our landscaping in our community.
Hands down this is the worse company ever, they covered my entire front yard with mulch and after complaining about it they never came back to fix the problem this started in mid November and today is December 30th and still nothing
They laid new SOD everywhere except our yard and after complaining about it nothing has been done . -
Having your buddies give you 5 stars with no explanation to boost your rating is pretty obvious. I would give 0 stars if they'd let me.
Brightview was being paid to maintain our townhome community weekly. I never had the impression "oh the yardman was here today". Our yards were overgrown and filled with weeds. I stayed home one day watch them work. I found two Brightview workers sleeping in their truck. I walked up on them a took a few pictures. That woke them up. They got out of the truck trimmed one hedge, cleaned up and left. They NEVER came to our yards to do the work we were paying them to do. I contacted management and asked for a refund for services not performed and never heard back from them. Don't waste your money. If management can't own up to their shortfalls and work to make it better, it's never going to improve. -
This company is contracted by our HOA and they are terrible. They constantly make promises that do not keep. Landscaping dies, they're paid to replace it, and then they let it die again. They aren't capable of keeping the most basic areas of the property clean. I have seen their employees argue with each other cursing and yelling. I have also seen their employees sitting in their trucks smoking cigarettes. Other employees walk around the property freely smoking in the open. Their employees are terrible and their project managers seemingly have no control over what happens on the property.

Brightview provides valued service at my community. Any time I have had a need, question or concern they are quick to respond with a clear plan. A1 customer service!!
-
They completely forgot to cut the entire side of an apartment complex TWICE causing snakes and other issues. Grass around the doors and sidewalk are left behind. Alexander Pointe looks horrible and has been on the decline for over a year now. These guys are LAZY and do not check behind their work. No one returns the emails and no one picks up the phone.

Can you get your cutting crews to cut facing away from the ponds and lakes. It's a common sense issue. Whether in English or Español. Have a tool box talk on Monday morning like we do in the trades. You folks are a multi $$$$$$$$ company. Tighten up and slow down!!!
-
Why does my community pay to have people destroy our yards? These people just leaf blew dirt ON MY CAR WHILE WAS WASHING IT IN THE DRIVEWAY… there’s bad service then there’s ZERO common sense…
-
Most landscapers will pause blowing when they see someone trying to get their car or walking past with a dog. Not this company. Still trying to get the dirt out of my eyes. Rude.

My HOA uses Brightview and I’ve never witnessed a horror show like this in my life. My lawn is at least 50% dead and I’m far from the only person. I have a bush in my front yard that continues to grow over my driveway and front walkway despite my complaints. It seems they’ve gotten rid of the landscapers that were throwing lit cigarettes about my lawn and changed them over to landscapers that don’t clean up after themselves and drive across my concrete driveway leaving numerous tire tracks as a bonus. Due to this, I’ve had to power wash my driveway quite a few times as my HOA fines randomly for dirty driveways. I’m also planning to file a lawsuit against my HOA due to failure to maintain landscaping. Thanks Brightview.

Worst company ever!!! None of them speak English they will cover you and your vehicle in dirt, leaves, mulch, and sticks. This is the second time they have covered me and I was in clear view. I have asked several times for them not to use their blowers near my truck. Still no luck. Watched completely cover my coworkers car in debri. Yall really need to get control of your crews skills.

Bright View has the contract to perform residential landscaping in Osprey Cove Subdivision in St Mary’s GA. In the Sanctuary section. They cut the grass generally in the morning and do not return to blow until later in the afternoon. This is an unacceptable process. It gets tracked all over and gets on the dog, in the cars and in the house. How hard is it to blow as soon as it’s cut? Or even use a thatch catcher? They don’t do it because they are trying to save money and have one person take care of 70 + houses. We pay for this service thru our HOA. Our HOA pays 160k a year for this terrible service. I have a copy of the contract and Bright View is in breach of contract. It takes less than 5 minutes to properly blow the driveway. If this was an independent lawn care provider that I paid directly I would have already fired you. Well guess what Bright View I will keep leaving bad reviews each week on every platform. Until this process gets corrected.

After more than fifteen years in property management, I have worked with countless landscaping vendors across a wide range of communities and I can say, without hesitation, that BrightView stands in a class of its own.
Their standard of quality is exceptional, but what truly sets them apart is their unwavering consistency, professionalism, and pride in their work. Every detail is approached with intention, and it shows, not only in the beauty and upkeep of the grounds, but in the reliability and care behind every interaction. Communication is always timely, clear, and solution oriented, which creates a seamless partnership and a level of trust that is invaluable in this industry.
Royce and Rodney exemplify outstanding leadership. Their commitment, accountability, and genuine investment in the success of the communities they serve is evident in everything they do. That level of excellence naturally extends to their onsite teams, who consistently demonstrate the same professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. It is clear that BrightView’s culture is rooted in ownership, pride, and follow through.
Projects are executed with precision and delivered on schedule, expectations are not only met but exceeded, and there is a true sense that they care deeply about the outcome, not just as a service provider, but as a partner.
BrightView has earned my highest respect and recommendation. They represent the gold standard in landscaping, and any community would be fortunate to have them entrusted with its care. -

Josh our True Green specialist has our yard looking fabulous and we're really enjoying the true green experience that we have with our yard looking like a golf course in the amazing time frame of just several months. Josh goes over everything before he begins to start the process of fertilizing and getting rid of the insects that eat the grass up
