My AC unit stopped working on Friday. It was a twenty year old unit and had to replace. Service men arrived promptly on Tuesday as promised, and they were extremely professional and polite. Explained everything as they went and finished early that afternoon in spite of having to find a new breaker. I am extremely pleased with the new owners . we totally love lake area heating and cooling they just came and fixed our AC in under 30 minutes Mr Tom is the technician that showed up he is absolutely awesome. We give them 20 Stars. if anybody needs their AC done we would highly highly recommend lake area heating and Air. They will get you together and get you back inside some nice cool air within minutes we would recommend them to absolutely anybody.

I stumbled upon this locally owned company following a post I made on Facebook requesting recommendations after my a/c started working improperly and not keeping things cool. I was originally told that a tech wouldn’t be able to make it out for several hours, but after only a few minutes the tech, Mr. Jeffrey Dorner, arrived at my house. The fix turned out to be very simple, and I wasn’t charged a service call fee. I was extremely thankful! However, their amazing customer service didn’t end there! A couple days later I received a follow up text from Jeffrey, checking in to make sure my unit was working well. I will only use this company moving forward! A special shoutout to Jeffrey for his exceptional customer service!

I called this morning about 7:30 and left a message about our central A/C not working. The air handler fan was blowing but no cool air since about 9 pm last night. They called back at 8:10 and said a technician would be dispatched asap. Justin Bertie arrived at 8:40 and by 9:30 the system was diagnosed, repaired and producing cold air. Wow! And at a fair price too. The system was installed by Mike Bertie 9 years ago and they have performed all the maintenance work. It is great to have a local company so reliable as Lake Area Heating and Cooling.

Just had your technician Jeffrey out today and he did a thorough and excellent job getting my A/C unit repaired! Kudos to him and Lake Area Heating and Air!

I used their service last year and again this year. My system is old and it is a good system, once a year it gets clogged and drips into the house. I have in the past been able to clear it myself but needed help this year and last year. Both times they were able to clear it and get the clog out, and shown me how to address it safely. Also they will be prompt with getting back to you and follow up anything that you might have questions or concerns with.

Excellent service. I called at 8 and they were here at 9. Very knowledgeable technician. I would highly recommend this company for any ac repairs.

Jeremy and his wife resolved my kitchen exhaust fan issue! Pretty much instant service. We will definitely call on them in the future.

My outside unit was not coming on. Justin was the technician that looked at the unit. He explained the problem to me and gave me a couple of options. He had my unit up and running pretty quickly. Justin was very friendly, polite, and professional. The price was reasonable and I am very pleased. I hope I don’t need any service for a long while but if I do, I will be calling on Lake Area Heating and Air (formerly Mike Bertie’s).

Jeremy and Tom have always been super responsive when ever we have had an AC issue. They take care of our lakehouse and our rental house for us. They recently replace our 32 year old unit at our rental house. Once we decided that we needed a new unit, we had an estimate the very same day. Two days later the unit was put in and they completed the work in half a day. It's great to know that if we ever have an AC issue at either house, I know that once I call Lake Area, the problem will be addressed and handled quickly and correctly. Definitely very much appreciated!!

This is the company that took over Mike Bertie's business and they are AMAZING! Highly recommend! Had a capacitor go out and the owner himself came out and fixed it. I had air conditioning again within an hour of calling! He also offered to bring us portable ac units if he wasn't able to fix the problem since it was the weekend. The price was fair and the owner is very professional. They will be the company I use going forward. Thank you!

My AC stopped working on Sunday afternoon. I called them Monday morning and a few hours later Tom called to say he was on his way. He was knowledgeable, courteous and very professional. Within minutes he diagnosed the problem correctly, fixed it and had the unit up and running for us! I'm very pleased with their price and outcome. Thanks again Tom!

You know how stressful it is when your AC dies and it's hot out and your house is heating up as well. You ask for recommendations and hope you made the right choice. Then you realize your AC needs to be replaced and it's not like you want to take a week thinking about it as the inside is approaching 90 degrees!

Fortunately Lake Area has a great group of people working for it. From the quick proposal turnaround to the quick installation scheduling and not to forget the loaner room AC (a life saver!) Lake Area was professional and considerate. Thank you!

I’ve been using Lake Area Heating and Air (Formerly Mike Birdie) for the last five years. They kept my old unit running for a much longer time than I thought possible. Always prompt to respond to calls, and always fixed the problem quickly. This past week Jeremy replaced my ac unit and air handler. I called on Thursday the unit was here and installed by mid afternoon Friday. Work was done quick and efficiently, no mess very clean. The install team was very professional, polite, and friendly. Unit works extremely well, no issues. I highly recommend Lake Area Heating and Air to anyone who needs work done on their ac/heat. Great job guys, keep it up!

I highly recommend this company. I called and Jeremy came out right away. He did an inspection of my system ( which hasn't worked in 25 years) and gave me a very good quote. He also took the time to explain exactly what I needed. Today his crew came and installed a new system for me. His crew were great. They explained everything and cleaned up beautifully. From start to Finnish, this was a great experience.

Special thanks to these guys for the fantastic job they did with our install! They came out the same day we called for a review of what we had in place and to provide an estimate for a new ac unit installation. They were extremely thorough and were able to give us a very reasonable quote on the spot. Within three days they had our replacement set up and by mid day on the day of install everything was complete and our new unit was in place! Amazing turn around time! The installers were all mannered and very friendly. They answered all my quotations and got b to work. The day after install i recieved a follow up call from the owner to insure i was satisfied. Amazing customer service! I can't say enough about the amazing job they did!

I highly highly recommend this company! Genuinely looking out for your best interest and charging affordable prices. Extremely knowledgeable and just in general humble and kind. My experience with the owner has restored my faith in humanity again. He went out of his way to be prompt and helpful in getting my ac working again. Another company quoted my $2300 for an ac repair that cost me less that $500. Do yourself a favor and call this company for any ac services needed.
