I've been using Live Wire Electrical for both my home & business for at least the last 15 years. They are professional & courteous. I recently used them to install a new LED light in a closet in my home. The work was completed professionally & quickly by Dale. They also just did a large project at a condo building where I own. They were considerably less expensive than any of the other quotes we received and did the work within a few days of coming out for the quote. They have also done many electrical projects for my clients. In my years, I’ve learned that every electrical issue is not the same. Some are easy, while others take more time to figure out. Live Wire has never disappointment me or anyone I’ve referred them to.

We just had Dennis out this morning to install/hard wire a ceiling fan. Dennis was great! He was professional, courteous, and made the job look painless. He was respectful to our home and furniture, ensured no debris got on anything and cleaned up after himself (seems no one does this anymore).
Your prices are VERY reasonable compared to your competitors.
With or with out Dukes Energy's discount, I will gladly use your company for any future electrical needs.

All in all I can’t complain they were pretty good. Chris came to give the estimate, his customer service and people skills were great. They are fair in price, the work was scheduled out by about a week for the first job and my new panel put in the second week. Everyone in my home was respectful, punctual and got the job done quicker than expected. I would and have recommended them already.

This is my second time using Live Wire. The first was at my brother's house. The electrical panel kept tripping and we could not figure it out. Tim and Justin came and swooped in and figured it out. Kept me informed with options how to repair. I was very happy with the service and respectfulness. Jump to today 9/24 John and Justin came I have an issue with a Waterboss. Rodents like to eat the wires. My husband ran the wire into the house, and sometimes it would get unplugged. I wanted a designated plug. With the help of the "boys" we figured it out. They gave me additional plugs with a box big enough to protect it from the elements and wrapped the electrical wire so the buggers don't get it. They went up and above what I requested. They said, we got you, and they got it right. I am very happy with the service not only with the field people but with the office staff. Imagine you get to talk to real people. I had a great experience with Live Wire yesterday! Got a call that they were running EARLY(!) and could they come out before the appointment time (say, what?)

Jeanat was my tech, and she did a great job removing 50 year old vent fans and replacing those in the bathroom ceilings and also installing a new kitchen fandolier. She was very conscious of keeping the cleanup to a minimum for me, and just a pleasure to have working in my home.

Not only would I recommend the company, I'd love to have her come back to do future work in my home. I trust her completely.

The power went out in part of my home. Duke Energy sent Live Wire as I subscribe to their wiring repair program. It took a couple visits to locate/fix the problem because apparently my wiring is somewhat atypical but the technicians were dedicated and could not have been nicer. Philip is very knowledgable and informative. Thanks to him I now know much more about the wiring in my home. William was also informative, responsive and kind. They performed a solid repair and also checked all my outlets, reporting on their condition. They were efficient and tidy. I am very grateful for their assistance.

We had an electrician named Dale who was very knowledgeable and thorough. He was able to locate and rewire the problem quickly, a lot cheaper than a couple of other quotes we got. Would definitely use Live Wire again.

I'm confused by the high ratings listed here. Technicians have been to our home three times. And, three times nothing has gotten done. We've been told what repairs are required and three times they haven't been completed. The excuses included; "we don't have the parts"; "we're too busy to complete it today" and "we have other appointments to get to". When we follow up with the office, there doesn't seem to be any record of work orders from the previous appointments. And, the cycle goes on and on.

Wonderful company. Knowledgeable and respectful. Unfortunately for them my issue was in the attic but they found the problem and got it fixed. Will definitely use them again and recommend them

Wow! Called for service, and within 1 hour, Kendall was sent to our home for a circuit breaker defect. Kendall was professional, courteous and extremely efficient in fixing the problem! Could not have asked for a better representative, which was referred by Duke Energy. This young man will go far. Duke Energy and Live Wire made this possible disaster disappear.

Kendall came by to check the outlet to see why it wasn't working. He checked everything. He explained everything that he was doing. It needs a second person to get it fixed. He did a great job. He was professional knowledgeable and friendly.

After the storms I wanted a generator hookup, a larger panel, a new connection to my dock, and some minor fixes. Live Wire came in about 1/2 the cost of the other quote I received. All the people I met were friendly, communicated well, and the job looks and works great.

Live wire is an awesome company that is easy to communicate with. Setting up an appointment was a breeze and they were able to have a technician out quickly. The team was professional and did a great job with the repairs. I have use them for multiple projects and will continue to call upon them for future electrical repairs!

Charlie came to my home and explained the details of the proposed work. He emailed an estimate two days after his visit. The work was scheduled within a week after I called. Justin and Aden performed the service. They were all business and technically competent. They completed what I thought would be a full day's work in three hours. The bill was $1,500 less than the nearest competitor. LIVE WIRE IS HANDS DOWN MY CHOICE FOR ALL FUTURE PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICAL SERVICES !!
