Weather Proof cooling & heating were top notch in their service. I had issues with the boiler and my split HVAC system. I had different companies/services come to fix it initially and they could not figure out the problem. They were able to diagnose the problem right away and worked to get it fixed within a matter of hours while I had to call the other guys back a couple times and they never resolved it. Their pricing is very fair and I highly recommend working with them as they are transparent to explain the problem and how to resolve it. They are also experts in Split systems so if you have any issues, this is their specialty. Get them and you will not regretted.

Our HVAC System quit working had a bad burning smell coming out of air vents. Called Weatherproof company to check our System out and give us an estimate to repair. James came to the house in less than 2 hours, he dionosed the problem and went over the cost to repair our system. He did all the repairs in less than 3 hours and charged us a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC repairs or maintenance.

Our AC went out and someone came out the same day within hours of me calling. He was thorough and showed me exactly what was wrong while fixing the AC. His prices are fair and he is honest. I would definitely hire them again for another job.

Genci came to work on my A/C unit promptly upon a good referral, arrived at my house on time and work on my A/C both outside unit and inside air handler unit give it a good cleaning and explaining along the way what he was working on. Gave free estimates and while Genci was here, I asked him to take a look at the thermostat and he did it for free, fixing a slight error in the system. So grateful. After having a few AC companies ensure me that my only option was to spend at least $10k on a brand new system, James (the owner of Weatherproof Heating and Cooling) came out in just a day's notice, inspected the issues, and replaced the faulty parts on the same day. He was honest about what the problems were and what he thought I should do. He didn't press me on a whole new system. Instead, he presented all options and what the risks might be for each one. He saved me thousands of dollars that would have been spent prematurely on a brand new system. Now, when I really am ready to upgrade everything, I know exactly who to call. Don't waste your time with other companies like I did!

I had an urgent situation on a Sunday afternoon and most places wouldn't come out without charging a hefty fee. I took a chance with Weatherproof cooling and he was here in an hour. Genci thoroughly checked everything, explained what he was doing and what was found, and charged a very reasonable rate. He will be my go-to HVAC person in the future!

I definitely would NOT recommend Weatherproof for service. I hired them on 1/9/25 to service the Hayward pool heater at my Airbnb after seeing their many 5-star reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.

The service tech got the system running, but the extremely poor quality work didn't even last a year. My system failed again on 12/20/25, so I called a different HVAC company that stated that the capacitors Weatherproof used were not OEM approved parts and their bypassed wiring voided the 5 warranty on my $6k pool heater. Their fix was essentially a temporary, "Jerry-rigged" workaround rather than a proper repair despite charging me $1,225.

This is on top of the completely unprofessional manner by which the tech took payment. I gave him authorization to do the work and he invoiced me. The issue was that he wanted immediate payment even though he didn't say that before doing the work and started calling and texting me repeatedly as I sat in a work meeting with top management. I would have provided a credit card in advance if that was required, but the debt collector style of payment demand right after doing the work was totally unprofessional, especially when the due date on the invoice was a week later. To say that I'm angry is an understatement considering I went through all that for a shoddy Jerry rigged repair that ended up voiding my 5 year warranty. I was left to pay for the second $500 repair, and now have lost 3 years of warranty coverage thanks to Weatherproof.
