Ben Decker came out and assessed our air conditioner within 5 minutes. The blower motor was bad (2 year old unit). Happy with his service and thank goodness it was under warranty still

I didn’t know why my dryer wasn’t working, and I was educated by Antonio that the roofing company I recently use, had covered up the vent hole. He was able to provide photos, and I am able to send them to the roofing company prior to them getting their final payment. AC guy of Tampa Bay came out within minutes of the call, and are very kind and eager to impress the customer. Would definitely recommend for all of my AC and duct needs.

Called The AC Guy of Tampa who had taken over the business of Climate Control. They were able to come out to service my unit within a couple of hours of me calling on the same day. The tech, Derrick B. is the same tech that has serviced my units in the past under the previous company. He always does an excellent job. Would definitely recommend him/them.

We encountered problems at our home on a Saturday and then next day, Sunday. Chris Morris was the on-call tech who arrived both days. On Saturday, Chris trouble-shot a problem with one air conditioner, which would not cool. He found the problem, but made sure nothing else was wrong with the system. On Sunday, Chris responded to a message we received that there was water detected. It turned out to be a faulty placement of the device, which he immediately corrected. Despite working at least 7 days straight, Chris was great. He was so professional. He took the time to explain each situation - on Saturday and on Sunday.
The A/C Guy of Tampa Bay is lucky to have someone as talented as Chris.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! I originally came over as a customer from Climate Control, and they treated me like I had been with them for years. From the start, they were professional, friendly, and willing to accommodate my situation. They even offered me a discount and made sure to prioritize my job in their schedule, which I really appreciated.

Ben did a great job of getting to us in a timely manner and quickly diagnosing the problem and making the repairs. We would highly recommend them!

Work was completed but not to the estimate and extremely over priced. First (and last) time using AC Guys of Tampa Bay.

Ended up replacing my thermostat. $492 to install a $75 thermostat, that’s a 656% markup. It is not even a programmable one. Reality is they buy them in bulk so the per unit price is less then $75 and the Markup is more then 656%. I hate to know what it would cost to install a higher end thermostat.

Other work was completed that I find questionable of if it was really required. i.e. some rewiring that has been working just fine for yrs and now it was all of a sudden wrong.

I was not home to manage this work so I feel my family was taken advantage of. I use Climate Control AC and Heat for 15yrs, the owner retired and AC Guys of Tampabay took them over. Prices were never like this and I never felt I was being taken advantage of. It’s a shame I don’t feel this is a honest company to work with.

I paid $200. MORE than I usually pay to have my line flushed. These guys are expensive & overpriced. Getting an appointment was easy & they came out the same day I called for service.

Great service. Representative Brad on phone was super friendly and courteous. He had the best attitude of the 5 companies that I called. Our AC stopped working the middle of gbd night after recording breaking temperature of 100 degrees in Tampa, FL. They put me on the schedule for a evening appointment but was called 15 minutes later by Technician that they could come out in a 1/2 hour. Antonio our tech was very nice, checked out the unit, told us what was wrong. He had the parts we needed and gave options and what we could do. He had us up and cooling down within an hour. My husband and I are very happy with the service provided and how quickly there were able to come out and fix our AC. I would highly recommend this company. A+

Chris Morris was excellent!! It was the most comprehensive AC maintenance service I've ever had. He cleaned everything. He explained everything he was doing and why. He was extremely thorough, very professional, and very polite. I highly recommend this company and especially Chris Morris.

Very good job. Daniel was very nice and knowledgeable. I asked Daniel if there is anything I could do to help my efficiency?
He showed me the coils in the compressor and how dirty they were. So I’m cleaning them this afternoon.

Called about system being down and a few hours later Chris notified us he was on his way. He diagnosed and explained the remedy and cost and did the repair. Timely and friendly service from Chris. Thank you.
